Ahh, the beach. The sights, sounds, and smells. The cheetah was rather in love with it all, and loved waking up to it every morning. It was just so...refreshing. It felt good to be near the beach, it really did. It wasn't as hot as the roguelands where she grew up, and it was more or less home to rather kind creatures. The ocean.. well, she wasn't all that familiar with the creatures of the ocean. But those in the sand she knew very well. Some she considered her very close friends, though most of the time the conversations were one-sided on account of them not being able to...talk.
She wasn't crazy, actually. Just a little alone. Lonely? Certainly not, but she was alone. Her cubs were grown and out on their own, and Naya found herself rather longing for companionship. She wasn't "lonely" in that she was depressed and sad and blue. Well.. she was a little blue, but that's just her pelt color. Mood-wise, despite being alone Naya was a rather happy cheetah. Just in need of company.
When was a lone rogue never not in need of company though?
This particular afternoon the female had stirred from a lovely nap and was no sitting in the shade of a lone tree, staring listlessly into the horizon above the ocean. She wasn't expecting much out of the rest of her day. In fact, she was perfectly content with the hours passing with little to no activity. She was used to it, so she didn't mind it so much.
