How in the heck did she get up this tree?

The lioness pondered this very question as she sat, rather stuck, in the lowest branch of a tree she'd grown rather fond of and often went to when she had nothing else to do. Which was, unfortunately, almost all the time. Really, you'd think such a new and different pride than the one she was born into would have more.. oh, action. Excitement. Newness, if that was even a word. Tana sighed a long, heavy, and quite obviously bored sigh. What had she been doing before she got up here.

Oh yeah! She was observing a peculiar rock that was near the base of the tree. She'd grown rather fond of that rock as well, and would sometimes take naps next to it when she felt like taking a nap. She'd always been uncomfortable napping at the base of trees because one time a branch fell just next to her head when she was still a juve. It would have killed her if it'd fallen just a few more inches to the left. The memory made the lioness shudder somewhat, the picture of her flattened, bloody skull being rather unpleasant. It probably would be for just about everyone else. Maybe.

The lioness watched that very boulder just a few feet beneath her. She remember now! She thought it'd be a good idea to climb the rock and see if she could get into the tree. Heck, leopards could climb all over trees, so why couldn't she? By normals means she wouldn't be able to get herself up into the tree, but thanks to that boulder here she was! Conquering trees. "Awesome," she snorted. Now her adventuring had always gotten her into many different and rather uncomfortable situations, but this.. Well this had to be the only instance wherein she'd actually gotten herself into something she couldn't get out of without any sort of help.

Lucky for her the Ela was full of lions that would probably be more than willing to lend her a paw. The only problem was that she was in an area that was fairly away from where most lions rested and whatnot. That was actually why she picked it. It provided her with solitude. You know, peace and quiet? Of course, at the time she didn't think she'd go and get herself stuck up in the tree.

Lions just don't climb trees. Normal ones, anyway.
