About the Character
Personality:

Polite(Positive) - He's polite and very much a gentleman.. He especially can't stand watching men be rude to ladies, after all they deserve better than that. Therefore often he pulls them aside trying to intervene, if a little more angry he tries to politely distract them and leave quietly.

Vain(Negative)- He's gorgeous and he knows it, and often uses it and his charm to his advantage to get things if he can. His Vanity can also get him into some trouble, to him he is one of the most beautiful things in the world, a human which came from a rose pokemon. He sometimes doesn't see the beauty in things around him other than in flowers, some things become trivial and others ugly.

Optimistic(Positive)- Not much keeps Florence down if it did he's always been in the dumps when he got turned down, he can see the good in almost everything even when things look terrible. He's always standing up straight, with a bright sunny outlook.

Reliable(Positive) - He's reliable for most things, and always works hard. If you've asked him a favour he'll make sure to see it done before doing anything else. Except flirt, he always manages to find time for that before, during or after work.

Playboy/Flirt(Negative) - although he's reliable for work he'd not when it comes to relationships, and that can often get him into trouble. He is a charmer and likes to be surrounded by girls. Though he'd never treat them poorly, he does have a code of respect for the ladies and sticks to it. He's still learning how to flirt properly like a man ;D

Picky(Negative) - He's got some pretty high standards and that could drive anyone crazy, he'll only drink the freshest water and chose the most beautiful flowers, and he only eats organic food. It being enough to drive anyone crazy.

Slow to Anger(Positive) - It take a long time to get his thorns in a knot, he doesn't like being angry, says it gives him wrinkles and his precious flowers wilt with bad angry vibes in the air. Aside from that Florence feels it simply takes up too much energy to be angry where as he could be doing something else and possibly useful.

Spoiled(Negative): as nice as he can be can be he's very used to getting what he wants when he wants it using one method or another. Usually he relies on his looks and charm to get him everything anything often causing a scene doing so but it's often more embarrassing for the person opposite Florence. It didn't help any his trainer pampered him.

Intelligent(Positive): He's smart and it shows, the fact he hasn't been killed yet by a mob of angry girls proves it he often uses it to turn arguments to his advantage, and walks away winning with a few quick words.

Persistence(Negative): sometimes he can be so persistent he'll become a bother especially if he really wants something, it can boarder on obsessive, and if it can't get it he sometimes will try harder to acquire it. Like an item in a collection.

Hobbies:

Flower arranging/growing - a bit of a strange hobby for a teenage boy but hey, he likes flowers, being affiliated with the grass type makes him attuned to them and helps him grow some of the well which helps him win hearts(sometimes) when he uses them as gifts. He prides himself on growing the most beautiful flowers.

Music(playing/listening): he loves to play music and listen to it, often it helps him with his flowers, after all flowers love music too, mainly classical. Though he's pretty good he doesn't consider himself performance standard.

Swimming: -he enjoys water, he was a plant after all, swimming helps keep him in shape and lord only knows how hard on himself he'd be if he weren’t. In General he enjoys most water activities outside mainly but when it's winter what can you do.


Dislikes:

Being Dirty(Mildly) - He knows when he goes out into the garden he's going to get dirty and makes every precaution to avoid it when he grows flowers. Somehow he manages to keep himself clean, he doesn't like being overly covered in dirt, but can stand some on his hands when he's working.

People and Pokemon who are Rude - he can't stand poor mannerism. It just goes to show him how uncultured and uncouth people can be. He very much dislikes the all brawn type and he can't stand seeing others be rude to ladies, they deserve better than that.

Meat- He’s a straight vegan, although he can it feels strange to eat meat being a grass type pokemon, maybe he'd feel different if he was a carnavine.

Fighting - he hates it even as a pokemon he hated it, he's a lover not a fighter, he was never very good at fighting period unless it was with words

Likes:

Girls/Ladies - He likes seeing pretty girls; he's a teenager with Raging hormones need I say more? Though he never thinks of it like that and frowns at people who do.

Good Weather - it allows him to get outside and have fun, and even with his optimistic trait it makes him feel happier when he's outside in the sun. It's got to be that plant thing.

Cooking: He's an excellent cook, and he grows all his own veggies and berries. He specialises in vegetarian meals.

I noticed that you don't follow the bare minimum requirements of describing a trait. To quote the reqs...



Some of your traits are described with a single sentence and I would like to see how they affect his life a bit more and with more description. At least to the bare minimum requirements. I will say that I can see his personality in the way you answer questions and that amuses me. <3

As for what you already have regarding his traits...

He is polite, but what does he do when he DOES see someone being rude to a lady? How does he politely deal with that? ;3

I like that he's optimistic. It is very fitting for a flowery pokemon, I think, as flowers continue stand up on their stems every day, despite the elements they're exposed to... /end poetic mumbo jumbo.

He is slow to anger, so what kind of things will finally send him over the edge? (P.S. I LOVE that you used the phrase "get his thorns in a knot". I giggled profusely. <3 )

As for his intelligence, how would he react if someone managed to out talk him so that he COULDN'T walk away triumphantly? Would he get sour, as he is spoiled and used to getting his way?

All in all, I like him, and I think the personality you gave him is very suited to the pokemon and the art you won. :3

Edit: OH and out of curiosity, why does he respond to conflict with compliments? When I read that, in my head I pictured him getting punched and immediately complimenting his attackers shirt...XD

So that kind of baffles me.

He'll politely take them aside and talk to them about how they tread ladies making him look better in their eyes. At least that’s always the plan.

First off, someone who is more persistent than he is, and a rather hyper irrational personality would most likely cause him to go over the edge especially if they didn't listen to him. If he is angry He'll just have blow up and run away childishly.

If he's been however talked into a corner he'd most likely just go silent and try and think of a way out of it with a rather sour face, He doesn't like being talked into a corner and yes he would behave rather spoiled.
