Captain Commander There is nothing good or evil
but imagining it makes it so...You already lost....  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On a dim night of the vast cities of the anceient land china, Ryoko the new captain commander of the Gotei 13 appeared out of a black mist on the roof tops in Beijing. He wore his captain's cloak that was black instead of white. He looked over the edge of the building gazing down at the humans that were walking in the streets of capital. It was a curious sight but not that enticing Ryoko was here to patrol the area for espada activity just to make sure. Even though the espadas and shinigami were at a stalemate their were some that would act up in the world of the living that would cause damage to the human world. Ryoko wanted to keep the humans safe from that danger. The wind began to pick up as his hair flailed to the other direction. "Now that my journey for vegence is over, A new one has appeared before me. I can lead my people to survival..." Ryoko thought as he folded his arms and closed his eyes to use his spiritual awarness to pick a hollowfied presence in the area.

The streets were damp, light reflecting ambitiously off of the wet pavement of Beijing.
Donovan had had enough of the human world by this point. Maybe it was just China. He didn’t speak the language and felt as if the humans were talking about him whenever he walked by (even though they couldn’t see him). They all seemed to accusatory, what with their sidelong glances and quick hand gestures.
Once, long ago, he’d seen an enormous poster depicting the necessity of war. He couldn’t remember exactly where it was, letalone what was on it, but it was indeed very mean-spirited, if he remembered correctly. Verily, this was why he found humans, of all creatures, to be so interesting; their ability to fight incessantly, and so intensely, over the stupidest of things. It was simply astounding. And, at the same time, it was mortifying.
Regardless, Donovan’s quest for knowledge continued. Beijing, he had discovered, offered nothing new. Soon, the party would regroup, and then move on to London.
He’d heard that the Captain Commander was in the area as well. He figured he might drop in on him.
But the fates had other plans.
Just then, a horde of serpentine hollow burst forth from a shop window to his left, catching him by surprise and throwing him well across the street and into another store. A bakery. Clearly, they were hollows with delusions of grandeur and some class-act neuroses.
Donovan hacked his way out of the mass of them and into the street again, where he leaped up onto the roof of the bakery, which was now partially caved in. Thankfully, the street was empty. And from afar, he could see the Captain Commander atop another building, in a more populated section of town.
The hollows flowed from the store as if somebody had turned on a hollow-tap and left it running. It just didn’t end. They flowed up and outward, into the surrounding area. They were all fairly low-level, but dangerous all the same. Especially to the humans…
((Just came to stir things up a bit xD))

but imagining it makes it so...You already lost.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ryoko looked down as he saw a hord of hollows appear from the distance. I a flash he flicked infront of the hord. He held out his zanpakuto and said "Bring forth Darkness and destruction." in one horizontal slashing motion a wave of dark energy was sent out from his zanpakuto at the oncoming horde killing off the first wave with not damgae to the human world Architecture. "The hollows appeared out of nowwhere all of a sudden why is that." he thought as he looked at the vice captain a few feet away from him the back at the rest of the hollows. He flipped his zanpakuto backwards as he stood in a fighting position getting ready for the next wave. His reiatsu began to spike but Ryoko needed to take off his patch to continue since there are so many. But not at the moment his shikai reverted back to it's sealed form but his reiatsu was spiking still.

Bring forth the wrath of the sleeping Goddess, Dejitaru Megami…
Those were the words Donovan should have said to release his zanpakuto. He’d never seen The Captain Commander fight, however, and curiosity consumed him. He watched at the captains opening maneuver. Quite a more hands-on approach than Donovan would have expected from him.
He sheathed his blade clumsily, at the same time falling to the ground, grunting as if in pain. He was covered in blood anyway; the Captain wouldn’t be able to tell he was faking it.
“Damn it!” he yelled, loud enough so that Ryoko heard him. He thought he’d made it convincing enough.
The flow of hollows was relentless, one after another, they assaulted the storefront. The sheer energy it must have taken to bring sucha massive number of creatures into this world was weakening the building, which was visibly weak in the first place. It would no doubt fall soon.
“I have no idea where they came from, sir, although, it must have taken a particularly well coordinated individual to pull this off.” He paused momentarily, “I suspect someone from the inside. I suspect sabotage, sir. There wouldn’t be such a high concentration of hollows here unless--” he groaned again, clutching his side. Maintain character, Don, he thought. “Unless someone knew we were going to be here.”
He rolled onto his back and watched the sky, the hollows above coming nowhere near him. He dared not lock eyes with the captain – suddenly, Donovan’s Zanpakuto grew hot at his side. The pain was searing, and whited out his vision…
“Fool!” She shrieked, her voice resonating throughout the entirety of his inner world. His inner world, a desert city comprised primarily of large, mirrored domes. A select few skyscrapers jutted from the bleak landscape and into the greenish darkness of the skies. Donovan held his ground. She would come from no direction in particular, or rather, three or four all at once. He tensed, and braced for impact.
Sure enough, she came, her armor whirring with the familiar sound that gadgets made while working at twice their capacity. Her every feature a stunning violet. Her skin, a beautiful tan. Breathing heavily, she placed a hand on Donovan’s shoulder. He hadn’t noticed that he was standing. He’d always found it harder to find his bearings in his inner world.
“I need you to do this for me, Donovan. Fight the Captain Commander. Do it. Fight him, and win yourself a title.”
“Why do you ask this of me?” Asked Donovan, feeling mildly delirious.
“Dearest, I ask nothing of you. They are but simple suggestions. Take them as you will…”
Donovan opened his eyes to the very same hollow flying overhead, like a vulture. Only seconds had passed, it seemed. He stood abruptly. I will not fight him, but I will earn his trust... Then, we shall see.
“Bring forth the wrath of the sleeping Goddess, Dejitaru Megami.” He felt her inside of him. She was laughing.
When the scythe reappeared in front of him, he took it. And, in a flash, he went to stand beside the captain, poised for battle as well. “Your orders, Captain Commander?”

but imagining it makes it so...You already lost....  Ryoko looked back at the lieutnant."Take care of the ones in front... I'm going inside the store. There must be a source to all of the these hollows coming out. I might even need to take this patch off to get my speed going." Ryoko said as he began to remove his patch all of a sudden a shift in the atmosphere occured and a massive shockwave of reiatsu came out of Ryoko. "Activate freezing protocal." Ryoko said as the world of the living began to stop in motion the humans and everything besides him the lieutenant and the hollows were frozen in time. It was a mechanism used to prevent damge in the human world. Once the hollows got close to him Ryoko revealed himself with his eyes that were yellow no a crimson red. In this release from his restiction Ryoko could go all out without a problem. He jumped over the large number bouncing from one head to another. He immediatly grabbed on of the hollows and through it at a group in front of him blocking the path. "With this many it's no wonder I can go all out with this many." Ryoko thought as he made it to where the hollows were coming from which was a store. He landed on one the hollows pushing off from it an landed on a small building next to it. "So thats where they are coming from... A garaganta must be in that store..." Ryoko thought as he jumped down into the store and was immediatly inside.

Silence.
Freezing protocol had been activated. now that he thought about it, it should have been incited sooner.
Donovan couldn't help but watch the captain as he released his power, as much as it pained him to do so. The shock-wave of reiatsu burned his senses. I could never fight that, he thought.
The hollows would not converge on him. Strange.
He readied his Scythe, hefting it above his head with one hand. "Hackers code," he murmured. The blade of his scythe began to glow brighter, it's reitasu vibrating violently. One by one, the hollows were downed, their life energy feeding Donovan's weapon.
Hackers code increased the effectiveness of Dejitaru Megami by tenfold. Strengthening the blade, and feeding that strength with the reitasu of his opponents. It was an insidious technique, really.
In moments, the majority of hollow were downed, drained, and relieved of their existence in this world. One or two of them had managed a hit in the chaos... But others still escaped the storefront. Donovan began to pool the collected navy blue reitasu around himself. It would strengthen his next attack. Normally a weak technique, Firewall Assault's strength would increase exponentially with the reitasu of this many hollows.
All about him, daggers formed in midair, aimed towards the storefront and the hollows still escaping. "Firewall assault. First wave!"
Hundreds of the daggers flew at the sore-front and maneuvered their way inside. The hollows cries were like music to his ears. He hurried inside, the remaining blades following him, through doors, windows, and whatever other crevice they could find. Donovan stood beside the Captain-Commander, the blades crowding around them. The strength of the daggers was weakening.
"Captain," he said curtly. He felt as if he were greeting the captains strength, and not Ryoko himself. It was almost a presence all it's self."Before I forget, I would like to speak with you when we are finished here. I need to ask a favor of you." Dejitaru Megami was laughing again. She was getting the wrong idea. Donovan prayed nothing would come about that he would have to incite Bankai, and Dejitaru megami would be able to manifest her power in the physical world. "It's rather important."

but imagining it makes it so...You already lost.... Ryoko nodded as he kept slashing away at the hollows like paper with Kurayami Kitetsu. He looked at the end of the store noticing a garaganta was open. Realizing tht was causing the hollows to appear he made his way through the hord of hollows with his own speed and reflexes. He held out his hand and murmured "Dark shift..." All of a sudden his hand began to emit a black reiatsu as the black void of the garaganta began to evaporate. The remaining hollows would eventually be delt with by Donovan since he was supposed to cover the commander anyway. Ryoko's main ability is to use darkness based abilities. He was said to be the most powerfull dark user in all of Soul Society and probrably the only one to have ever kept in control of that power as it has said before that people who aquired an ability similar to that element either went insane or commited suicide. Ryoko dropped his hand once the garaganta vanished and rejoined Donovan to finish off the straglers that were in the human world. Since the world was frozen Ryoko and Donovan could cut loose and use alot but for Ryoko's case he was holding back alot and Donovan only witnessed a slight amount of that exact power earlier.

Ryokos power was truly astounding. And the gate was closed now, the rest would be easy.
Donovan cleared the hollow stragglers with little effort. They were truly the lowest of the low level. It took no more than ten minutes at best now that the Garganta had been sealed. Their strength had been in numbers. The only real setback had been that they’d spread out a little bit…
“Now, Captain Commander, if I may ask you for a little advice…” he said, sheathing his blade and returning to Ryoko’s side. He shook his head blearily, “I can’t do anything with her anymore. My zanpakuto spirit, that is. And, I was thinking… I’m not sure if it’s possible – I deal mostly in human affairs and technologies, and if I sound stupid, I apologize – can a Zanpakuto spirit be corrupt?” He sure felt stupid saying it. But the alternative explanation was not one he was particularly fond of, so he didn't bother to ask.

"The way a zanpakuto can be corrupt is if your soul is corrupted. Remember a zanpakuto is a part of your soul. I can let you choose to get rid of it and deal with just human affairs and technology but take this into consideration. If your soul has weakened from something than your zanpakuto will think of you as not it's master. You must keep your soul in check and strong. That is the wisdom I place upon you." Ryoko said as he walked out of the store with the freezing protocal now stopped and time flowing once more. He looked back at the boy to see if he will take the time to think of his choice.

Donovan nearly choked.
"I will do no such thing. I've worked too hard to be where I am. I just... It feels wrong." He paused. "There was something else. I've been doing some research lately and... Maybe I have been drawing power from the wrong source? I mean, my Zanpakuto wasn't always like this. And my soul... My soul is perfectly fine. But the power is far too dark to be my Zanpakuto.She's a spirit of light. Well, not light. But she certainly isn't supposed to be dark... as far as I know..." Donovan followed the Captain, purposefully avoiding his gaze by staring up at the sky contemplatively. "Maybe it's my inner hollow. But i don't want that. Mostly for personal reasons, but also because my squad captain would likely want to perform certain tests. The likes of which I would wish upon no man."
He turned to the captain-commander "It's not my Zanpakuto Spirit that I want you to destroy."

but imagining it makes it so...You already lost.... Ryoko raised an eyebrow and folded his arms. "If thats the case then go to your captain, Musashi and run some test. Once you found what you think might be the problem then come see me again at my captains quaters. But there is something different about your reiatsu flow it's drawing from somewharer else." Ryoko said as a Senkaimon opened infront of him. He would leave it open for Donovan if he wanted to return to Soul Society. "If it's not his soul thats causing his zanpakuto to act this way then his zanpakuto is starting to reject his soul renouncing her master..." Ryoko thought as he walked through the portal continuing to ponder these scenario's.
