She was just a little surprised, both at the item she was given and that was uh...taken. It disappeared as soon as she powered up, not something that she was used to. She only hoped it came -back- when she powered down. A cell phone was not the reply she thought she would get when she told Ever she was going out... but at least he was not caging her in or anything.
She was curious, wanted to learn wanted to explore... and so far her explorations had come up fruitful, she had learned things. Met people.
Maybe she would keep meeting people as she went out?
The city lights were brought tonight, the sky overhead filled with a mixture of smog and clouds blanketed the city in darkness. She was walking down a familiar pathway, hair dragging behind her as she did so. A youma peeked out of a building to stare at her, something that made her go "EEEEEEK!" Bu the monster did nothing. Just sort of stared. Shouldn't monsters attack?

...It felt like Alkaid.
Fluorite stopped walking at that realization, blinking. There was an aura in the air, a very unique aura. She knew this kind of aura. It felt like Alkaid.
But at the same time, it was off. Off enough to make her pause. It was lacking... something that made Alkaid's aura her own, replaced by something completely different. Someone alike, then ?
She peered from her perch on the low roof down to the street, and saw her. A red-haired woman. An incredibly long-haired woman.
...God she wanted to just drag the girl in an alley and spend the night braiding all the pretty hair, but she forced the thought out of her mind. She was Fluorite ! She was on duty ! Pretty ladies or not.
Through said purified senshi was... scared by a youma ? "Shh." She said, softly, letting herself fall on the ground. She was starting to slowly get better with heights... and more trusting that her body could handle drops. At least, as Fluorite. "You are one of us... The youma won't hurt you." Would they listen to her, through ? Fluorite had no idea. Youma just plain didn't listen to her, thanks to her rank, but they had never done any move to harm her, not when she was Fluorite.
"Who are you ?" The purple-haired girl tilted her head to the side, clearly curious.

A tingle in the back of her mind, not as strong as a few of the others she felt... but enough to know one of her 'kind' was close by. Lyra had never been told that she could sense things, that little triggers in her mind would be fired as she felt the presence of another powered being. After all these walk out and encounters though, even a newly corrupted senshi could start to understand and realize aura sensing.
The voice now that occupied it, caught her off guard. She knew someone was near... but not where they would approach. Which Fluorite, in this case, had blind sided her. "EEP!" She cried again. Leaping around she landed in a defensive pose, arms raised and one foot pushed back. After a moment of -staring- at her nemesis, she let her shoulders relax...if momentarily.
"...Ammolite." The corrupted senshi called herself, the nickname that was given to her that she would call herself. "I've seen...those things before it just scared me." She blushed, trying her best not to be embarrassed and failing at it. "...Who are you?"

Fluorite didn't move, even when Ammolite backed up into a defensive stance. She remained simply standing. Tiny, curious, ultimately no threat. This one was... jumpy ? She pondered coming closer, but she figured it might scare the corrupted senshi even more.
Her name, through, hadn't been what she had expected. Ammolite ? That sounded... well, like a mineral name. Their names. Not a senshi name. How strange...
"I am Fluorite." She smiled. "Happy to meet you ! Are you... hm... new, through ?"
She seemed this way, in spite of the power rolling off her in waves.

Fluorite... her hunch was right, the feeling she got was a aura similar to her own. It did not have the same feeling to it, but it felt 'right' to her. Which meant that this girl was also dark kingdom.
Her body instantly relaxed as she stood more normally, ironically the two literally met eye to eye. "Ohmygod im so glad!" Lyra truly sounded relieved. "Since i was brought over i really dont remember anything, and i need to keep on my toes or else." She shrugged, not really having a finisher for that statement.
"Nice to meet you Fluorite!" The senshi approached, fake wings flapping in the wind as she moved. "New?" A headtilt at that, curiously. "New to the dark kingdom? ...yeah. I only have a memory of about a week or so. Im told though that i did some really bad things before being.... enlightened." Her arms folded, and she glanced away.

It was so odd how Ammolite's demeanor changed so drastically in so short a time. She seemed so... innocent, in a way. Much more than a girl their age should have been - she didn't look much older than Fluorite was.
But then she explained herself nicely, and it all made sense. Didn't remember anything ? ...Hadn't Alkaid mentioned something like that, also ? She seemed to remember that.
Well then. It looked like Fluorite had found what to do with her evening. If the girl couldn't pinpoint negaverse agents directly and didn't know youma would not attack her... Maybe she could help. "Ah... Well, that's all behind you now, isn't it ?" The purple-haired girl mused. "Sometimes it's just better not to remember, though... I could walk with you tonight, if you want ? You can ask me what questions you want, and if I know the answers, i'll help ?" It broke her heart a little bit, to see someone so utterly lost in all sense of the word.

"Well i cant exactly remember it to tell you the truth so, i dont know if its real or not. Brother tells me that it was pretty bad so...clearly i can trust him." She shrugged once, approaching a little bit closer but still wary.
"I would love company! Its such a big city and honestly... i get lost a lot of the time. Im lucky i ran in to you, you seem friendly." She resisted the urge to loop her arm around the others... for now.
She started to walk down the road, peering into the spot where the youma once was, now gone. "So... Youma um... mind explaining a little?" She heard of them but not what their purpose was, etc.

That seemed to strike a cord with Fluorite - her expression changed, if only briefly, but then she smiled. She didn't need to bother Ammolite with her own issues, not when there was so much that the girl needed to know. "Im sure he's only wanting the best for you."
"I could get you a map, if you would like ? Would that help ?" Was Ammolite new to the city or... did she really remember nothing at all ? It was a little scary to think about. "I could also get you something to drink, if you'd like ? It's a little risky to enter shops as... well, in the states we are right now." It occurred to her that warning the corrupted senshi might be a good idea. "But there are vending machines around town, and if you think to put some money aside before you power up, it's easy to get something and leave before anyone really notices you."
They walked, side by side, and Fluorite was looking around for said vending machines. She was thirsty, at the very least. "Youma are... Well, they're creatures like the one you've just seen." She was loathe to call them monsters, now that she knew better. "They help us gather energy. That energy helps us keep the earth safe." If indirectly.

"OH! So they are like pets?" She inquired with a head tilt at the idea of youmas helping. "Trained pets?"
"A map is a good idea possible for when walking around... this place feels familiar but all the same, its all new to me. Kinda like a void that needs filling...Wait." She paused for a moment, blinking. "So if i set something aside and then power up i can grab it? .....What happens to the things you power up holding? Uh... I might have powered up with the guy im staying with's cellphone...."
"...And ide rather not have lost that if you get what i mean." A nervous laugh as she walked next to Fluorite, eyes to the ground. "I noticed that people tend to stay away from me while in this form. I blend in better in civilian, not as noticeable. But to me this form just....feels right."

Through I don't know if they'ld listen to senshi like you... But they won't harm you, no matter how scary they look." Many considered youma simply as tools, but Fluorite found herself loathe to consider anything alive a tool. And youma.. were alive, in their own ways. It was a little complicated.
"Yeah, you can set something side, power up, and then take it. The cell phone is fine, when you power down it will be in your hand again. Im not sure where things... go, when we power up, but they're safe." Fluorite had certainly done that mistake more than once.
Ah ! There ! The tiny girl made a beeline for the vending machine. "Usually you want to go out as a civilian, yeah, unless you're patrolling. It's safer that way... Senshi can feel us and attack us when we're powered up, and likewise to them. When we're civilians, they don't know us from a loaf of bread."
Her last words made Fluorite do a little humming sound. This... wasn't quite the case for her, really. She found herself tiring out if she stayed as Fluorite too long. She figured it might just be something she would need to get used to.

"...You mean they have that weird pirckly feeling in their minds too? Do you too? I mean... i dont know. Its just a feeling i get, i felt you approaching and yet i did not know from where..."
"Thus the jumping." She admitted, blushing again.
Still talking she followed the small nega towards the vending machine, frowning up at it and yet talking about something else at the same time. "...Ide like to think im not a loaf of bread. And... what is this?" Peering at it a hand reached out and touched the cold exterior of the machine, a new light coming to the girls eyes. "Aaah.. vending machine... i remember these."
"...Dont they require some sort of uhm...tribute? ...Nono thats not the word. Money!... I dont have any of that." Not on her at least. She had a few dollars back at Evers apartment, but she did not think she woulda needed it with her tonight.
"...So uhm. You talk about.... Patrolling, and 'herding', and energy gathering. Is that what we are supposed to do?" No one really gave lyra the 411, so she was glad to have someone to ask all these things.

"Yeah, we all do. As long as we're like this, we emit energy. Negaversers all feel roughly like I do. Senshi feel..." She frowned, visibly struggling. "They feel the opposite. It's hard to explain, im sorry." It hadn't even been a long time since Fluorite had learned how to pinpoint auras easily. "Senshi like you... feel like a mix of me and them. It's really odd... But very noticeable." Her lips pursed in worry.
If Fluorite had been able to pinpoint Alkaid's aura so easily, then pretty much anyone could. But Lyra felt strong, very strong.
It was the redhead's next words that really crashed it home just how... confused she was. Just how much she had forgotten. She knew that senshi brought over from their cause forgot, but she had never seen Alkaid like this. It was unsettling. "It's an expression, it means they can't tell us from any other normal person around. If we walk around as our civilian identities, they just don't know who we are. There's no way for them to tell."
She fumbled with her sash, taking a few dollars out. "Thirsty ? You can have whatever you'd like from this." Did Ammolite even remember what tastes she liked ? Gods... She kind of just wanted to carry the girl to safety and roll her up in bubble wrap to make sure nothing bad happened to her.
"Im... not too sure. It's what I do, but you... I think you would mostly fight senshi." This wasn't something she'd talked at length with Alkaid. "I know another senshi like you, through. Im sure she could answer you much better than I could... Her name is Alkaid."

"Aha! So thats why the people tend to ignore me when i walk around in civilian... i guess i kind of assumed that i had a giant target on my head or something." Using a finger she poked the side of her head, and made a goofy smile.
"Alkaid... Ill need to go searching for her too then! So ill just look for a aura similar to my own?" She said thinking outloud more for her own memory benefit. She blinked back at the negaverser, head tilting as she examined the pictures of the different sodas. There was a red can... Cola? Lyra liked red maybe she would like that too! Pointing towards the can of Soda, she poked the machine with an index finger. "May i have this one?"
It really was almost as if speaking with a child.
Stepping away, she made room for Fluorite to do whatever she had to do. "So.... like. How do you take this energy?"

Fluorite nodded, put money in, and punched in the code - and one of the red cans came tumbling down. "Wait a minute or so before opening it - shaken soda means a sticky explosion." She hoped the warning came in time. It hadn't occurred to warn her as an automatism.
More money and another code later, and a similar can came tumbling down - Fluorite felt like mountain dew tonight, apparently.
"Well, you make contact with them and concentrate, and it start leeching out into your hand, kind of like a glass ball ? They're very fragile, so if you drop them they shatter and the energy goes right back where you took it from."
Not that she'd ever done that mistake.
Of course not.
Really.

Warning came a little too late.
Opening the can almost like second nature, clearly having done this a lot more than she remembered, the soda did blow up and she let out a squeal. Thankfully, it only went all over her hands not them. Staring at it, look of total horrification, she started to giggle... and then laugh.
"THAT... was not too smart of me eh?" She said after a moment of giggling that slowed down. Reaching up, she wiped a tear out of her eye with the side of her sleeve.
"Must have some experience with it to know that mm?" She smiled at the girl, clearly taking a liking to her. It was a friendly tease, nothing more nothing less.
Tilting the drink, now not exploding on her, she took a sip at first... and then a pretty large swig. "....It burns a little but it is tasty!"
