Ok, so I'm thinking about finally getting to breeding out my final team for White, but I can't decide on the last two slots and want your guy's opinion.
Right now the 'Mons that have claimed a spot are:
Gigalith | Ferrothorn | Braviary | Jellicent
So the first question I ask yu guys is which Elec Type should I use?
Galvantula

Pros: It's speedy and has acceptable special attack. Choice Specs increase its damage to very nice levels.
It also has one thing going for it that other Elec Types wish they had; always perfect accuracy Thunder via Compoundeyes. Boosted by Specs, it hits like a bloody Truck.
Has good coverage with STAB Bug Buzz and access to Energy Ball.
Cons: Defensively, it's nothing to praise. Being a Bug at least makes it neutral to Ground and resists Fighting, but at the cost of bringing in a bunch of other weaknesses. The biggest one being Rock (Stealth Rock being the most critical).
Although Specs Thunder hurts, the rest of its moves tend to lack a bit in damage compared to other users. It's not really that much of an issue, but it might miss some OHKOs/2HKOs along the line.
OR
Eelektross

Pros: Stat-wise, it beats Galvantula except in Speed. More damage and good bulk to sponge hits.
Unless the ability is negated, it has no weaknesses thanks to being pure Elec and Levitating.
Access to Acid Spray basically lets it double the damage from its Special attacks, resulting in major pain.
Acid Spray lowers the target's Sp.Def by two levels instead of increasing Eel's stats, which means that other Mon's besides Eel can benefit from it.
Good coverage with Flamethrower and Grass Knot.
Cons: Slow. As. Hell. At 50 base speed, it gets outsped by a vast majority of opposing 'Mons. This weakness can be alleviated in the long run with Thunder Wave, but at the cost of one of the coverage moves.
The speed weakness is exacerbated further by needing to use Acid Spray on every new target to outdamage Specs Galvantula; allowing the opponent two free moves before he can murderize it back.
On the flip side of Acid Spray's stat Pros comment, it gets nullified instantly if the target ever leaves the battlefield.
Its Sp.Atk is actually the lower of its two offensive stats, which is a shame as that 115 Attack is wasted due to it having a horrible Physical movepool.
I'll post the final slot choice after this slot is decided. I'd appreciate any voting and/or opinions on this. And if anyone else is having similar structure issues, they can post it here too for help.

You've got CompoundEyes wrong. It only increases by 30% of the base accuracy, not by 30% total. Galvantula only has 91% accuracy on Thunder, which is nothing to sneeze at, but it isn't 100%.

On the other hand, Compoundeyes gives Yanma a Hypnosis that's basically Spore.

Wantcookie On the other hand, Compoundeyes gives Yanma a Hypnosis that's basically Spore. CompoundEyes Hypnosis isn't even close to being in the same league as Spore. Dark Void is still better than Hypnosis with CompoundEyes.

Considering that the only thing that's fast enough to actually use Spore is Smeargle, and Dark Void can't happen on something with Compoundeyes...

I meant that Dark Void without CompoundEyes is better than Hypnosis with CompoundEyes, sorry if I was confusing. Also, Amoonguss would be within reasonable range for a Trick Room team if you want a quick Spore.

Gonna chime in for a sec and mention that Trick Room is actually pretty worth it. I'm actually gonna use it on my team since no matter which way my remaining slots go, all but one of my team is gonna be between average and abysmally slow, so it'll work nicely for me. Plus the two contenders I have for using TR both have nice defenses to take the hit and set it up.
And I don't think it's too fair comparing Compound Hypnosis with Dark Void, because ick, Legendaries.
And my Breloom back in Platinum Spore's just fine.

Yes, I'm aware that it, in fact, does require a bit of extra skill and prediction to use Trick Room well, but used right, the one turn spent can turn into someone's nightmare if they aren't spamming priority moves.

regarding this trick room, and spore thing. And this compound eyes thing. All I have to say is you people are silly.
The only viable sleep source is clearly jumpluff.
