Right, so ... he'd definitely seen one of these big giant creepy-s**t monsters before. The last one didn't have the teeth this one had but he'd seen one. There had even been someone to save him that time. This one?
Nope.
He was stuck running down a deserted street out of breath from yelling (which had done no good by the way) with some giant slobbering thing chasing him down trying to eat him. He was -so- going to lodge a complaint with someone about this. His new shoes were skuffed up for gods sake! It was completely not fair. He could understand once, everyone had something really crappy happen one right? But TWICE? That was just plain cruel. Monstrously cruel...
... and that was the monster that had his foot. He had about half a second to think before he crashed into the ground with a grunt. That was a new pair of shoes completely ruined.
Scrambling a few inches he rolled over and stared up at the monster. "Okay ... you are -really- ******** ugly." Probably not the best line to go out with but it was so true. These things were just hideous.

Work work work.
Always work. She needed a break, and a snack come to think of it. But she would rather NOT have this young civilian on her tab record.... not as a toothpick for the toothy youma, at least.
It was a good thing she was nearby, or the human might have been youma chow. This one was pretty nasty looking too, she was not sure if she could kill it by herself. But her forehead light beam was strong enough to push a general queen back a few feet, so what was one youma going to do? Drool on her? She only hoped the kid would stay down long enough to avoid the bolt of light. A second later, forhead star glowing... she fired at the youma. Resisting the urge to scream 'DUCK' at the boy while doing so.
She was aiming for what looked like the creatures own forehead, a second after firing off the attack... she ran towards the human, grabbed his shirt sleeve with her mouth, and started to tug. Almost as if saying 'MOVE'.

He had been pretty sure he was going to be lunch meat for the monster when something hit it. Orange eyes widened as the beam, was he in a sci-fi movie now?, hit the creature in what appeared to be it's head and sent it howling.
The shock of that was almost enough for him to ignore the tugging at his sleeve, almost. Looking down he spotted the feline. "... okay, Lassie Jr to the rescue." With the monster trying to sort itself back out he scooped up the cat and scrambled to his feet. "Can't let you get killed just because you're trying to be a hero ... okay scratch that, we both might get killed but i'll feel better if i tried." He laughed as he scrambled back a few steps and turned to look at the creature.
He didn't really have anywhere to run and now he had a cat in his arms. Monster 1, Lysander 0

"Ill show YOU lassie." She mumbled to herself a moment before realizing she had spoken out loud, clamping her mouth shut as she realized she broke one of her own rules.
That was, until with a yeowl of irritation, she found herself pressed up against the man in his arms.
...Oh. Well s**t!
"....Hey, pumpkin eyes." The feline blinked up at him, eyes narrowed at him briefly, before turning back to glare at the monster. "You need a fairy godmother to save your skinny a** right?"

" ....." He stared down at the kitten in his arms, coming to a rather stupidly timed hault in the street. "You TALK?" Okay, so he'd called the kitten Lassie but that didn't give it an excuse to actually start talking did it?
"Right, okay. I'm being chased down the street by another one of these nasty things and i'm worried about a talking cat ... i'm must be going insane." Hearing the monster growl he turned back around so he could see it. "Fairy godmothers usually have wings ... and fluffy dresses. Not tails. God where are one of those stupidly dressed weirdos when you need one."
Not that the last one he'd met had been much help but maybe a different one could be useful.

Her eye twitched a little. "Beggars cant be choosers. I'm not a bird and I must confess i prefer my fur much more than an itchy dress any day." She did not know really why she was being so chatty with him, she had business to attend to, a youma to kill, a senshi to save. Normally the feline needed to do a flip to summon the items... but that was more for show she discovered.
No, all she really had to do was concentrate on his inner power... and make the pen that would bring out that energy. The pen would sync with him.
"Well, sorry darlin' but your looking at one of those stupidly dressed weirdos." Chloe hissed out a moment before calling forth his pen. A flash of light, and a pen with a ornament on one side was within he mouth. Lowering it down she looked up at the soon to be new weirdo on the streets. "What say you, Sailor Arachne? Will you defend the city, Save your own skin and those of your comrades? Blahblah... if so. Take the pen, hold it up, and say 'Arachne power, make up!'"

"Oh you have got to be kidding me..." He stared down at the cat as she summoned the pen. So the weirdos in the funny clothes were normal people. "I must have stepped out of reality and into a comic book. Well at least i'm the hero." His slightly bewildered look turned into a smirk as he reached down and picked up the pen, rolling it in his fingers.
"Arachne huh? b***h with an ego big enough to piss off a god and an affinity for creepy crawlies ... not bad."
The youma didn't really care about that though and had finally pulled itself to it's feet and was leveling it's eyes on the two in the street. "Right, existential delima about one's self -after- i'm not monster meat. God i hope no one's around to see this .... Arachne power, Make up!"
He had a moment to see a shimmering wall of power crackle up around him before -everything- turned into that shimmer. He couldn't really process what was going on but a moment later, with a definitive click, he landed back on the street.
"...God i have good taste in fashion. Okay kitten, if i'm one of the super-poweerd weirdos how do i kill it?"

"Well normally the Name fits the bill.." She muttered to herself, rolling her eyes as he mentioned his sailor name.Clearly this man was referring to himself with the god comments. oh boy, this one was going to be quiiiite the handful.
She managed to jump out of his arms a moment before he henshined up. She had never been held by a senshi while they powered up, but she also did not really feel like staying for the ride. So instead she landed safely on the cement and watched as he transformed.
Another sigh. Ohhh boy.. "Okay captain ego. Basic rules. A: Play batman and do not tell ANYONE whom you can not confirm is a senshi who you are. Watch out also, the enemy side had...corrupted some of out own as well." That part was a bitter hiss, clearly a wound for the cat.
"B: dont bite off more than you can chew. A dead senshi is no good for anyone besides our enemies. Our enemy, by the way, is the negaverse and their pet youma.
C: You use some power of the force to reach deep inside and feel the words... they should come to you when you need them."
Puffing up slightly, she looked rather upset. "Lastly. My name is not 'kitten' it is Chloe." Pulling out another object, she set it to the side. "This is your senshi cell phone, if you need me call me." She nodded and looked at what was chasing them grew closer.... "Goodluck." She would watch from the shadows... thus she darted under a car out of sight. First rule of being a senshi: your first encounters usually ended with a life/death fight. it was becoming a bit of a... initiation for them.
