The house looks very square from the outside. Obviously made from wood and other materials, it is several shades of brown. It looks a bit uncared for, with some small cracks and a few weeds growing near the front door. After entering through the dark wooden door, the inside seems to be done of a lighter colored wood. There is the slight smell of wood shaves mixed with some flower smelling perfume. Everything looks clean, there's not a single speck of dust to be seen. Upon entering, a kitchen, a large bedroom and a bathroom can be found. A small bright orange radio that Air brought in seems to not belong in the scene. Rock music is being played on it, giving a strange sensation on a place that would otherwise seem full of peace. To the left there is a small ladder besides the bathroom, after climbing you find yourself on the second floor. The hall is empty, however inside the bedrooms beds have already been set up. "Hi!" says Air comming out from the farthest room. "I didn't hear you come in".

These are the animals from which my Aerandir got his traits.. Therefore his influences: These rabbit's main characteristic is that they are full white with black eye-bands. The eye bands are neat and narrow around the entire eye. Hotot Rabbit Links: Dwarf hotots <-like this one a lot American Dwarf Hotot Rabbit Club Hairy Woodpeckers (Picoides villosus) are a black-and-white with a long, chisel-tipped bill. They can listen to insects (their main food) through the vibrations in wood. Hairy WoodpeckerHairy WoodpeckerIMG 2

Sunday, February 5, 2006Yesterday while doing some of my work, the mailman arrived. I went for the mail and checked once through it, one package caught my attention. I usually did not receive anything that were not bills. Upon opening it I found myself with 2 jars and a letter, that read: Letter Welcome, You have been invited to join the Aerandir programme, congratulations! Within this note you'll find some useful things to get you to started with your new charge. First of all you'll need to make your way to the Island. To that end we have included a ticket for yourself with this letter. Your boat should take you right to Ar'Idil which is the site of your new lodgings. Your allocated home is number 4. The house will be open when you arrive there, keys inside the door should you feel the need to lock up. There is plenty of information about the Aerandir in the Lodge - the main community centre of the Island. You will be able to get most supplies there - there is plenty of food and provisions, a small library, Aerandir information and suchlike. If there is anything you need but can't find then please contact the administrator of Ar'Idil - Anthony Blakewell. Thank you for helping in our endeavour to bring back the Aerandir Alyosha Project Administrator p.s. I included a picture of your new charges taken when they were first put in their jars. I. could. not. believe it. I almost fainted right there, it had been a terrible day for me up to that point. I ran to my room and started packing. I had been told there was not much electicity in Ar' Idil, but I still decide to take my radio with me along with some CD's and books to entertain myself. I carefully placed the jars inside my handbag and made my way to the street to take a cab. A few minutes later I was at the Airport and into the small plane that was supposed to take me near the islands. From there I'd have to take a ferry or something of the sort. The plane trip wasn't that good, actually I felt pretty unsafe in there, too much turbulence. The ferry trip I enjoyed, it had been years since I had been near the sea. That salty air and clear water kept me calm and daydreaming until my arrival upon the island. It was a small island, but the amount of wildlife immediatly caught my eyes. I loved the place, to the left there was a tropical forest and far to the right a small village. I took my things and started my walk over there. My house was supposed to be numer four. Surprisingly I had no trouble finding it. It looked a bit uncared for, but with some cleaning I was sure it'll end up looking prety nice. I went inside and started unpacking, I was too tired to go out. I'd go to the Lodge tomorrow and see what I can find there.

I woke up early today, a few minutes before 8am. It's become a custom for me to wake at such a time, I don't even have to set an alarm anymore.
I've spent all the time since I arrived cleaning and taking away the dust and spiderwebs. I somehow miss the strong wood scent that was here when I first arrived. Yet, I'm glad that I'm finally done with all the cleaning.
I sometime miss the internet I had at home, I've been trying to make up for that with some books. I brought a few with me and am just reading them once more, for now. The batteries on my radio are running out, even though they're rechargeable I'm too lazy to go to the lodge and do that.
For now I've been surviving with cheese tacos and toast bread. The kitchen's stove works prefectly fine, I'm used to gas powered things. I still think I oughta learn to cook different things... I'll see if I can find a cooking book somewhere around here, or ask someone for some basic recipes.
I've kept my jars in perfect condition, taking the dust off them with a damp cloth every once in a while. Maybe I'm being paranoic, but I swear I've heard strange noises inside the closets, even though I cleaned there too I couldn't find anything. Maybe it really 'is' nothing... I still gotte visit the lodge, now that I remember I not only got to recharge my batteries, I have to get some more food too.. what a bother, I'll do that later... maybe tomorrow.

He blushed slightly sheepishly as he turned up at Air Song's door. Making profuse apologies for the delay, Anthony quickly placed both items into one jar and took the spare in a bag he had brought with him.
Taking a few photographs, he gave one to Air and once again gave his apologies. The man was still flustered as he left, it seemed to be his constant state these days.
