High-functioning Marshmallow

Inside the building, there are three rooms, all of which decently sized for their intended purposes. The first door to the left has a nailed on sign labeling it as 'Tadpoles', diverting from the 'cat' theme if only because cats only had 'kitten' and 'cat' to their life stages. Inside, there is a rocking chair, several cribs, a closet containing dozens of blankets, small, soft toys, and diapers. A changing table is right beside here and, next to that, is a stereo stuck playing quiet lullabies to help keep any children here asleep. On the ground, in the center, is a fluffy rug for any babies just learning to crawl to practice on. A caretaker normally takes their post in the rocking chair at the end of the room. In the first door to the right, labeled as 'Froglets', is the largest room in the building, which holds several toys of various natures, a closet holding a large stack of sleeping bags for nap time, and a couch in one corner where a caretaker is normally seen watching the children or down on the floor playing with them. A few tables are in one corner for snack time at a height much too short for any adult, which can go for about everything in the room, couch aside. There's enough space near the middle for kids to run around safely, but roughhousing is normally reserved for outside.
The third room is, probably, the most important of them all – the 'Hopper' room! A kitchen, a table for the staff to relax at, and even a desk managed in there somehow in an attempt to mix and the office in as well. A phone, computer, and calender are in here, as well as a first aid kit, several rainbow band-aids, and more. This room contains all the basic, not-so-fun stuff for the kids and a much needed break room that the adults can take when it's their turn to relax.Employees

It was still early in the morning when he enter the daycare with Wilhelm walking running next to him. Rune was at school (she was growing so fast! Where had the last two years been?) so it was only the little boy today, but that didn't bother the white hair male. The moment they stepped inside the building, he didn't even bother say good bye to his father, and rushed away to play with the various toys, throwing a full bin of toys on the floor, because dammit, that was way faster then sorting throught them one by one! He was already three years old and getting old! He didn't have time to loose, trying to find the right toy to play with!
Yoakim looked at him from away, sighing and shaking his head. Maybe Blaire was right when she said he could use some Ritalin... Naaah. He was a perfectly normal kid who like to play! Smilling, the father turned around and left for his work place, letting his son playing with the toys he had, so not carefully, thrown on the floor.

Walking to drop Peter off at the daycare was, by far, one of the more pleasant moments of Shinju's day. With Kotone at school, and work at the coffee shop, it was lovely to be able to leave the boy with someone reliable. Especially since Kotone was in her last year of high school, she really couldn't afford to waste time worrying about watching Peter. It was almost enough to make Shinju want to kiss the owner of the daycare (and not just because she was cute). Yeah, that was kind of creepy, she shouldn't admit to things like that.
Anyway, the walk to the daycare was a pleasant one. Even though Shinju was sad to see the cold weather pass, Peter was much more fond of the spring, and there was a special spring to his step as he bounced along the walkway leading up to the daycare. He held onto his aunt's hand tightly as he walked, staring down at his feet intently, careful not to step on any cracks. His mother may have been a little weird, but he didn't want to hurt her!
As they passed Yoakim, Shinju bent down and whispered into Peter's ear, "Peter, it looks like your friend is here." She recognized Yoakim from the few, brief moments throughout the past few years, from the various child hijacking and the like. Peter stopped monitoring his steps and looked up at his aunt with wide eyes. "Really? Really really?" Shinju grinned before swooping down to give him a kiss on the cheek. "Be a good boy." And with that, she left her nephew standing in the daycare, glowing with excitement.
The moment his aunt walked back out the door, Peter spun around and looked around in search of Muse or Wilhelm. His favorite people! He spotted a familiar white head soon after, and he hurried over to stop a short distance away from his friend. His face was practically glowing, and he gripped his shirt tightly, he was so excited. "...Hi!" he greeted Wilhelm cheerfully.

He turned around only to see a very familiar face with gigantic eyes looking at him. Wilhelm stared right back into them, taking a moment to remember who it was. No, he wasn't that stupid. He knew that it was either Peter or Muse! He had spent enough time with them in the last two years to know that much! It was just... they both had the same hair! It was hard to tell them apart sometimes. Especially when you were a kid with the attention span of a goldfish. Like always, the clothes were what gave Peter's identity aways. Daddy clothes = Peter, Mommy's clothes = Muse."Peta! HI! HI HI HI HI HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII." He greeted his friend, jumping up and down in excitement. His friend was there, which made it the bestest ever day in his life! ....Then again, he had chocolate ice cream yesterday... oh, thought call.
"Peta! Peta! Look! Look! Peta! LOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!!!" Look at what? Well, at the car he was currently shoving inside Peter's stomah, what else! It was it's prize and joy of the day, of course he was going to shove it (literally) at everyone he met! "Look! Blue Car!"

Muse walked carefully across the sidewalk behind the servant, minding every crack, bump, and rock across it. She was quite a clumsy child but couldn't help it, and instead learned from the pain of falling and tried never to do it again. She should've looked at her surroundings, since she rarely left the mansion. But eventually she arrived at the daycare, only to trip on the doorstop when she tried to run to Wilhem and Peter, her homeskillets.

Peter continued to smile happily at Wilhelm as the boy paused to recognize him. It seemed that happened every time, but that's okay, because if it weren't for the drastically different hair colors, he would have trouble telling Wilhelm and Muse apart, too! So he waited, patiently, and only jumped a little bit when the lightbulb went off in his friend's head and he was greeted loudly.
Next thing he knew, he had a car shoved into his stomach. ...Blue car?" he questioned, looking down at the toy in his friend's hands. He had been learning his colors, and that didn't look very blue to him... Sort of blue, but a different blue! But if Wilhelm said that it was a blue car, then it must have been a blue car! Because his friends knew EVERYTHING! "Uwau, issa blue car!" he smiled as he looked at the car. "Can I see?" he asked, putting his hand on the other side of the toy. Oh, if only Auntie Shinju were there, she would be so proud of him for asking nicely!
A moment later, and Peter heard a sound. He looked around for the source, but he couldn't see anything. "...What's that?" he asked Wilhelm with concerned eyes.

Wilhelm placed the car in Peter's hand, making sure to keep his eyes on it. Peter could break it or something! "Kay! But it's mine. You give it back, kay?" Well, he trusted Peter to give it back more than Muse. She was the one with all the toys! She must have shared too much and didn't give them back! WIlhelm wished he had so many toys to play with! It was so fun to go play at Muse's! There was always a lot of yummy food and fuzzy animals!
"Wazzat? LET GOT SEE!" IT WAS AN ADVENTURE! He grabbed his little toy car back from Peter's hands, place it on the ground. He then placed both of his little hands on them (because it takes two hands to drive a car!) and started to run/push it in the dirrection of the noise. "VROOOM ROOOM!!! VZZZZZZ!!!!!!! BEEEP BEEEP!!!! VRROOOOOM!!!" They needed to drive to the source of the sound! It was a car race! Vroom! And then, he ran right into Muse who was still on the floor, making the biggest car crash of his life time! They would need an am-bou....bu.... Big car that make more noises!

Then as Muse tried to get up from her demeaning position on the ground... there was a loud screaming child, then pain! Muse didn't like pain! Wilhem crashed into her with the force of ten thousand cookies, all being thrown at once! "OW!" Muse exclaimed, rubbing her forehead where it collided with Wilhem's. Usually she would just cry and walk away, but as soon as she noticed it was one of her friends, she got angry and snatched the purple car from the ground and clutched it to her body. "Why you huwt me?" She said, running over to Peter and hiding behind him, her head peeking out from behind Peter's. As if he needed an explanation, she said, "Wiwhem huwt me."

Oh! It was a race! Peter leapt to an alert stance, forgetting about the car completely, and hurried after Wilhelm, clutching his shirt with both hands nervously. It made him anxious, high power moments like this! He followed Wilhelm exactly, so when the white haired boy crashed into Muse, he just about tripped over his friend's feet. "Kaboom!" he exclaimed without thinking, quickly clapping his hands over his hands when he remembered that Shinju was always reminding him to use his inside voice! So he took a step back, and the second half of the car crash stood up and hurried behind him. He was confused as to why this person was hiding, but after a moment, he realized who it was. He wasn't used to seeing Muse outside of her house, so he couldn't recognize her at first! But when he did, he returned to his usual glowy smile. "Muuuse...!" he greeted her, turning around to give her a hug, but she was holding the car, and it poked him in the chest, so it didn't last for long. So then he turned around to look at Wilhelm. "Will, you can say sorry now," he suggested with a smile. Oh, both of his friends were here, what a good day!

That had been EPIC! Or it would have been if Wilhelm knew that word, but that didn't change the feeling the young boy was having. When Peter exclaimed 'Kaboom', he just had to follow suit! "Boom booom!" Such a huge car accident! They needed help now! And maybe, doctor Sheppard could save them all like in the story thingy mommy watched every week! They would bring him there then everyone would run around trying to save him and then place those big cooking plates on him to revive him! Because that's what cookie did! "I can't say sowwy! I'm deeaaaaad." The little boy explained as he rolled on the floor from left to right! Dead people couldn't say sorry! Silly Peter! He should have known that. "Run Peta! That's not Muse. It's Gozilla!" Not that he knew who Godzilla was. He had just heard that name on the television the previous night. Seriously, that child spent way too much time in front of the television.

Muse frowned. Of course he could say sorry. He was clearly alive from the way he was rolling back and forth. But there was nothing wrong with having a little playtime. Muse threw the car at Wilhem from her position behind Peter. If he was dead, he couldn't feel it, right? and her tiny baby arms caused it to land a couple feet short of the rolling child.
"What a Goziwwa, Wiwhelm?" Although the Sonata's had countless televisions in the house, none of them were meant for Muse to be used. She was told once that she could never watch TV or her stuffed animals would explode! She didn't want that to happen, ever! All she did was play with her toys and pretend they were all friends and loved each other, if they exploded what would she do for fun?

Peter's mouth fell open. Wilhelm... Wilhelm was dead! ...He didn't look dead, because he was moving like that, but... If he said he was dead, then he must have been dead! Peter's face fell, and he wrung his shirt in his hands as his eyes watered up. He shouldn't cry, because Mama said that boys don't cry, but... What would he do with Wilhelm? He loved his friends! He didn't want them to die! He wasn't sure what being dead really meant, but it always sounded bad!
"...Yeah. Whas a gozilla?" he echoed Muse, his voice trembling as he blinked back tears. He wanted to hug Wilhelm, but what if he caught it?

That was a good question. What was a Gozilla? The white haired kid sat up and made his thinking face, because it was well known you could only think while making a face like that. There ought to have been something on Godzilla, but what? What did he knew about it? Well, frankly, he knew absolutely nothing, which is why retort to the most logical answer a 3 years old could come up with at that moment. "Muse is a Gozzila!" He said, pointing at the young girl before standing up and running away. "Run Peta! Gozilla will touch you!" It was a week known fact! If Godzilla cought you, you would become one too! It was a terrible fate, happening to all the children around the world! All the island, even! Because the island was bigger than the world, obviously. Point was, Wilhelm was now running in circle around the room while yelling "Muse is Gozzila! Muse is Gozilla!"

Muse gasped. She was a Gozilla! And... what exactly did that mean? Apparently something not good, because Wilhem and Peter started running around her in circles yelling at her. But... she didn't want to be the only Gozilla around. It was sad being the only Gozilla around, even if she had no idea what it was or what it did. Did... being one mean you were sick? She wasn't sick... or was she?! "I don't wanna be a Gozilla! Make me better!" All she really wanted was to be accepted again, and not having people running around her screaming. She pouted and sat down, waiting for someone to cure her. That's how she grew up. She told something to someone, and it happened! She got whatever she wanted! Except TV of course. That was something dangerous she couldn't take a risk with.
