Alright, Rei had to finally admit to himself that which he had so desperately tried to ignore for the past weeks. He wasn’t happy. No matter what he did, who he met or which places he visited, the orange lion couldn’t restore the feeling of wholeness he’d experienced in the Pridelands. And no matter how many red-eyed lionesses he met in the rogue lands, no one could make him forget just how comfortable he’d felt sharing a den with Mzuza.
For the first time in weeks, Rei actually sat down to consider his options. He could go on like this and hope for the best, he could try to track down his family or… he could go back to the Pridelands and try to make things right with Mzuza. She probably wouldn’t take him back – he’d been a complete idiot! – but the mere thought of returning “home” brightened the orange lion’s mood more than anything else he’d done in a very long time. Maybe that really was the place where he belonged. He pawed at a small plant, completely lost in thought, completely unaware of anything around him.

The day had taken a turn for the best, it had been dreary to Sabia, her Father was 'missing', probably off with some female. The norm for her broken family. But finally she had stumbled across something golden. A male, he was very lightly colored in comparison to her. Her pelt was a beautiful bright red, wing had a golden yellow and eyes hidden by a skull that looked all to familiar. If of course one had seen a dead lion carcass. At first glance a lion might be confused, the pelt and helm were not normal, she was a fierce go-getter and if she got you, beware. This pale brown lion was her next piece of meat to play with. He just didn't know he was part of any game yet.
It was her time to play it seductive, she moved slowly, her newly grown body was still hard to get used to, the limbs bigger and tail much longer. Her balance was a little bit off, but she could hold her own extremely well. The lighting was playing well for her and she found her pelt glimmering nicely. Her approach was not usual, she moved like a snake, almost slithering towards the male "Hello there.." She purred, the purr was cold and distant if one listened closely enough. Unless they were desperate to believe the lioness wearing attire of lion could honestly be purring.
The prey was targeted. Locked in on. And pounced. Sabia`deimos made this her playing field. He looked sad, so she would play the pity party, then who knew what would happen from there. But all the while she wore a wicked grin.

“Oh, hello!” Rei said quickly in a cheerful manner, instantly getting into his usual “Nice Rogue Guy”-mode at the sound of a female voice. She was coming to him which was unusual in a place where most lionesses tried to stay away from strange males. She seemed oddly happy, looking at Rei with that funny little grin but when the orange lion realized she didn’t have red eyes, he decided that he was quite pleased with her sudden arrival. He still had to rule off her choice of accessories as creepy though.
“I’m Rei. I’m not getting to close to a pride, am I?” because most girls that approached him to casually usually had an entire pride of lions to back them up. This one, however, seemed far more confident than he'd expect her to be.

Ignoring the rest of what he said completely she smirked an gave an eerily charming laugh. "Oh, how sweet.. thinking a pride would protect a young lady like myself. You couldn't be more wrong." She pulled herself into a comfortable seated position, tail loosely next to her. She was ready, he may not see the signs, but her tail was prepared, ready to pull up and balance her. Her claws, covered by her fluffy toes were trying to tear at the earth beneath her and under the skull her eyes were narrowed and nose wrinkled.
"My Father is a abusive whore.. whom would eat the likes of you for breakfast." She was almost smiling now, the half smile began to show her pearly whites that were sharpened to a 'T' with the bones of her victims. She looked away a moment then let her eyes rest of his. Her golden eyes could pierce souls if lions let her. Sabia let the smile drop to a smirk again and she spoke again. "My only companion is a hyena, ruthless and cunning. They are my pack, my pride, my family and also the last ones I have seen. That was days ago." She spoke with bursting confidence.
Her muscles were tightening and loosening happily, he was an open fella, this would work in her favor.

His eyes lingered on the red lioness’ wing markings which he found rather interesting but the orange lion’s attention was quickly diverted. If at first Rei sat down and prepared himself for a pleasant conversation, looking rather amused by the girl he was classifying as “confident” and “witty”, his smile faltered as she kept talking.
“Ah…” he started quite with a somewhat dumb expression, clearly missing the signs he should be looking for. She had not given him her name in return and that did unsettle him. The lion followed her gaze, hoping her father wasn’t around as he sounded like a world of trouble. He didn’t even know how to reply to the unkind description she’d given of her father so he tried to keep the conversation light with a little bit of humor. “Well, I’m pretty big to fit into anyone’s mouth. Why aren’t you with them then?” She was an odd one, alright. Who walked around with a hyena in tow?

She watched his mood change, he had been interested, intrigued even! But she had reacted to soon, he was becoming curious and moody. This was not looking good for her. She stood slowly, tail twisting lightly, her face stayed straight, that crooked smirk still in place. "My Father has a big mouth, mind you he usually tears into the flesh slowly. Of course he makes sure the life is still lingering... he enjoys watching the tears of pain grow and fall when the blood begins to pour." The scenes flash before her very eyes, all forms of creatures had succumbed to this torture, their necks broken slowly and brutally, limbs shredded and bodily organs leaking out onto the fresh mornings grass. The sights always excited her, she would never admit that to her Father though.
"I don't need them." Plain and simple, very cold as well. She had recalled the conjured idea of creating a pride, what a pride indeed. It was filled with some interesting topics, but she stalled her mind from sinking any further into that oblivion. "Do you have anyone?" This question was not asked in a literal sense, it didn't really need to be answered, she obviously didn't care if he wasn't alone and someone could hear his cries, she was now staring at him. The smirk was gone, the glittery stance and eyes were gone. She was no longer just a female looking for some 'attention' but a predator looking for her next victim.

“He doesn’t sound like a very nice guy.” It would be a lie to say that Sabia’s description of her father’s hobby wasn’t deeply disturbing to the orange lion. He frowned, her odd smirk really pushing at all his danger sensors. Quite honestly, Rei started to think there was something seriously wrong with this beautiful lioness. “Do you like doing those things as well?”
Rei could only think of the poor prey beasts that had suffered at the paws of the girl’s father. It never even occurred to him that that behavior was often extended to their own kind.
“Not here with me. My family is pretty far away and there was someone but… not anymore.“ She wasn’t smiling anymore. Not even smirking. Why did she look so serious all of a sudden?!

Her mind worked like clock work, gears clicking quickly the male was a little bit slow it seemed, this worked well in her favor. Most, males or females, would have high tailed it by now, she was pushing her limits by describing the events her Father put her through. The smirk never came back, a maniacal smile took it's place, but was gone again as if brief thoughts were striking her repeatedly. The grins stopped as quickly as they started and she began to advance. "What do they say, Rei?" His name was like thick molasses on her tongue, it oozed from her mouth and dripped and sat in the air.
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, oh... and my name is Sabia!" Her name was the last thing that left her body that propelled forward at Rei, she had been coiling up her muscles while she spoke, her mind working on two things at once. She was on a ball this evening and the ball was rolled when she threw herself at him, claws out and glinting in the suns light A terrifying sight if caught off guard.

Alright, she was definitely off. That crazy smile was not something the orange lion had expected to see… and he really didn’t like it. He leaned back when she moved closer, not at all interested in whatever she wanted to say. And even if he was pleased to finally get her name, his happiness was ridiculously short-lived because before he could get a “pleasure to meet you” out, she was already lunging at him.
“Hey, hey, hey!” Rei shouted loudly as he jumped back but he wasn’t even growling yet. She was a girl! A creepy girl, crazy girl but still! He wasn’t going to attack a girl! “What the… Sabia!”
It was not as if he’d expected her to listen to him. He just looked thoroughly surprised with the sudden turn of events and the scent of blood filling the air. His face stung. It was his blood. Bloody hell, he hadn’t even seen her paw coming! He lifted one paw with sheathed claws to push the lioness away, figuring that it would be enough to knock some sense into her but considering Rei had little to none fighting experience, his movements were slow and predictable.

Riled, Sabia spun around on a paw, seeming to literally spin mid-air and then relaxed upon hitting the ground. She heaved a huff at the blunt force he had pushed into her. She was smiling savagely and gazing at him. It was like a hunter staring at her prey, prey she would not kill, but had a want to toy and play with, perhaps cause harm, but not completely maim or destroy.
"Such a short name, Rei. Easy to say, rolls right of the tongue..." Sabia purred, almost hissing, to show the rolling sound the 'R' made on her tongue. She visibly shuddered. "No ones here to rescue little Rei though.." She murmured, more to herself, almost defending and convincing herself more than anything. It was this that caught most people off guard. It was almost as if her concious was guilty, dirty? Most made the mistake of trying question or console her. She expected no less from this rotten male.
"Why are you staring at me." It was not a question, not really. More of a statement, something that said, look the hell away/what the hell is your problem?

She was fast. Really fast. The orange lion followed her movements intently and almost sighed with relief when she jumped back. He listened with a frown as she talked about his name, not really sure if she was actually addressing him or just talking to herself. She was clearly crazy, this one.
“I don’t need someone to rescue me.” He said, raising his voice a little – as if that would heal his injured pride. He really didn’t understand this strange girl who seemed to be getting angry at him for no apparent reason. “I’m looking at the lioness who just made me bleed.” He said coldly. What the…? She was the one that attacked him, why was she the one getting angry?
“After what you did, do you really think I’m just gonna look away or turn my back on you?” Oh no. No way. Rei lifted one paw to his face and it quickly turned red. His frown deepened. “I’m definitely keeping my eyes on you.”

The smiles that drove men away, but kept them staring was now glued to her maw. She was like a car wreck, the worst of kinds.. the ones you're involved with and can't seem to get out of. Sabias eyes shone for a brief moment and as soon as that shine was gone she got up and began to move slowly toward him, seduction getting thicker in each paw as she nears her 'prey'. "Oh Rei, I'm soo sorry for hurting you.." Her purr was poisonous, loving and hateful.. then swirled with a sense of pure want. She was crazy, that was fact, she wasn't friend, but could come off as a chance for a fling, if she let you, great, but most chances a male got were fought off. Her Father and her had shared her weakest moments, but he made her strong in those moments and for that she thanked him.
"Your going to keep your eyes on me?" Her eyes transformed almost immediately and her smile became more sweet then sour, she almost looked like an innocent female, the shine was back, but her movements stayed the same. "Now..." Her words were a fluid purr. "Is that a threat.. or a promise?" Sabia growled the last phrase, now nearing him, but keeping a distance so that he would not run. She was in her happy place now.

Rei was… confused.
The orange lion really didn’t understand this strange red lioness. Her voice was soft and innocent one instant and then cruel and enticing the next. He didn’t know what to make of her words, her movements, her expressions. They were all very fleeting, constantly contradicting each other. At her “apology”, Rei lowered his head, looking very confused – though probably not as much as he truly felt.
“Are you… alright?” It was as if she had dozens of voices inside her head. But a soft female voice was… well, like a beacon to the young orange lion, something he just couldn’t ignore. He took one step closer to Sabia and then her voice was harsh again and Rei took one step back instinctively. “A threat? Why would I threaten you?” She was girl! He’d never harm a girl!
He felt ridiculous backing away from a lioness, even if she was a bit on the crazy side. So, still bleeding from an indefinite place of his face he would have some trouble locating later, Rei ignored all caution and took a few steps closer to the lioness again. Perhaps she was “just” being very defensive. Maybe she had some reason to be acting this way. Maybe she was pretending to be crazy just to drive others away from this place. Maybe…
“Sabia, I’d never hurt you.” He said very seriously as he drew closer.
(Feel free to have her really hurt him. I think he’s gonna run like a baby on the next post XD)

He was confusing her about as much as she was confusing him, except apparently she was more lethal about it. Sabia's eye's went focused and unfocused rapidly giving her a dizzy spell, she watched his paws move forward then step back. Her voice almost seemed unfamiliar, but she was definitely lashing out and he was trying to.. comfort her? She growled, softly at first. Something that maybe would be use as a defense mechanism that quickly turned more animal than she had used before, by definition she belonged in a crazy club, but hold some of her crazy because she was a danger? Hell if she knew.
"What if I wanted you to hurt me? Feel your claws digging into the flesh of my back, my neck, my face..." She poured her words in a dangerous combination of purr and growl. "Feel the warmth of the blood you would spill over my pelt..." She cooed the words at him and began her strut towards him, a lioness stalking her prey. Her ears flicked backwards and she became the aggressor once more, not just with her words, but physical appearance too. Her flesh twitched, she felt goosebumps tickle it's surface and she grinned behind her skull. The protective mask that made her appear twice as threatening. "But you don't have the male in you to do such a thing." She was mere feet from him, lunging distance. And boy did she have plans.
It was kill or be killed and Sabia was not about to have herself dying just yet and thus she lunged. Her body was tense and rigid, but her head was still clouded with dizziness, had it not have been she MIGHT have hit her mark for the throat, but as it was with his movement back suddenly and her head not cooperating she him just above his right leg near his shoulder. Her powerful jaws were opened and grabbed for whatever flesh she could, all the while she let her claws do what they could, her eyes were closed for moments in between trying to gain focus, so whatever she hit she didn't know. Could have easily been the ground.

“Your face?” Rei repeated wide-eyed, tone soaking in disbelief. A female who wouldn’t mind scarring her own face? She was just not… normal. The orange lion backed away slowly but she was moving closer, too close and, slow learner that he was, even Rei could tell that wasn’t a very good idea. “What is wrong with you?”
Like a spooked prey beast, Rei lifted his head when the lioness lunged, groaning quietly. Again?! Really? The attack was much worse than he’d expected and the purple-eyed lion was slow to defend himself. He felt her fangs tear through the orange skin and he finally roared in pain even though he was doing his best to remain calm and composed, in control of the situation. But control was something he obviously did not have as the lioness’ claws – weapons that seemed intent on causing even more damage than her fangs - seemed eager prove.
He almost bit her at this point, her head and neck moving in to a tempting distance but he stopped himself in time. He couldn’t, he just couldn’t! Even if she was trying to hurt him. Even she was completely crazy. She was a girl – a pretty girl even – and Rei simply didn’t have what it took to attack a lone lioness like that. He wasn’t a masochist either so a decision would have to be made quickly and his options were rather limited at the moment.
"Back off, Sabia!" After a couple of failed attempts at dislodging Sabia from his body as he backtracked indecisively, Rei tried to rotate his body in order to slam his left shoulder against the red lioness. At the slightest chance, he was ready to turn his back and run away as fast as possible.
