 Rotom had, had a tiring day. But the weather wasn't making it easier. It was suppose to be warm and sunny... But it was wet and humid... And bleh. But regardless he was on a mission. He had heard a rumor of lava being at the base of the mountain, and he was going to get there and see it! He walked down the path at a quicker then usual pace. The mountain base was still a couple hours away but he didn't want to waste time.

Walking ahead, Laeh wandered to no where in particular. She hadn't really met any other soquilli and she secretly hoped she would. It sure was lonely exploring by yourself. You could only hold conversations for so long when you were the only one involved. As she reached the edge of the forest, the trees thinned and green leaves gave way to a gray sky, the sun struggling to peek through and failing to provide any warmth.
Shivering, she looked down the path and followed it up to a large volcano. She had never seen one up close and thought it would be the perfect start to an adventure. As her eyes came back down and she was paying attention to something other than the volcano, Laeh noticed an usdia a little ways ahead of her.
"Hey!" She began to chase after him, her little legs moving quickly to carry her. "Wait up!" What luck. Something new and a new friend. Maybe today wasn't so bad after all.

Rotom was in his own little would, walking with determination. And it wasn't until she had caught upto him, that he noticed her. He looked over stopping, and staring for a moment. A small jolt of electricity surged through him with a small spark popping at the tip of his hair.
"Huh?" He blinked, and then realized, "Oh~ Hello. Did I do something?" He wasn't to sure if he had done something wrong. Since he was in his own little world.

Laeh stopped cautiously in front of the stallion in front of her. She'd been warned that not all soquilli were friendly and she wasn't one to ignore warnings. "No, you've done nothing wrong." She smiled. "I just wanted to say hi. I've not met many soquilli since coming to these new lands."
Laeh's eyes traveled to the volcano before them. "I've not seen one of those, either." Snapping back to attention, she gasped. "Where are my manners? My name is Laeh. It's nice to meet you."

"New?" He thought about it. He had been new too... "I'm Rotom. It's nice to meet you." He smiled cheekily. He looked back to the volcano. "I'm going there... Want to come? I heard there's hot stuff there." He blinked a few times.
He was in a bit of a rush after all!

"Well, to me they're new. I guess they must be boring to you. But I love them. I'm always finding new things and it's so exciting." Laeh's words came out fast and she nodded at Rotom. "Hot stuff? It sounds a bit dangerous. Let's get there quickly!" She took off on the path towards the volcano, her wings fluttering in excitement.
