There are four conjugations (and one in-between conjugation) in Latin. This is the first one in the Present System, Present tense.
For the first conjugation (using example verb amo, amare), the conjugation is as follows.
Amo - I love
Amas - you love
Amat - he/she/it loves
Amamus - we love
Amatis - you pl. love
Amant - they love
Notice how the stem (not bolded) comes from the first principal part (amo) for the first person singular, but from the second principal part for the rest. This will be a recurring pattern for the rest of the verbs that you will see.
