There are four conjugations (and one in-between conjugation) in Latin. This is the first one in the Present System, Present tense.

For the first conjugation (using example verb amo, amare), the conjugation is as follows.

Amo - I love
Amas - you love
Amat - he/she/it loves
Amamus - we love
Amatis - you pl. love
Amant - they love

Notice how the stem (not bolded) comes from the first principal part (amo) for the first person singular, but from the second principal part for the rest. This will be a recurring pattern for the rest of the verbs that you will see.

This is the imperfect, or past tense. Again, the stems are plain, and the endings are bold.

Amabam - I loved
Amabas - you loved
Amabat - he/she/it loved
Amabamus - we loved
Amabatis - you pl. loved
Amabant - they loved

What is the same about all of these endings? You guessed it -- the endings all start with ba! Then you see the endings for the present tense: m, s, t, mus, tis, nt. Another thing to note is that the first person singular is not as weird in the imperfect tense. Instead of dropping the ending and adding o, the first person ending, m, is added.

I am really sorry but u transliated imperfect wrong
bam-i was lovING

otherwise it just does not work

That's not true. Imperfect can be translated in any past-tense way as long as it isn't "has" or "had."

I loved is the simple imperfect form. I was loving is actually another imperfect form called the progressive imperfect. You could also translate amabam as "I did love." I have two textbooks, not counting my English textbook, and they both agree on this.

Now we come to future tense. ^_^

Amabo - I will love
Amabis - you will love
Amabit - he/she/it will love
Amabimus - we will love
Amabitis - you pl. will love
Amabunt - they will love

This one is a little trickier. We go back to the o endings, and then we continue...but we use i's instead of a's. However, to make things even more complicated, the monks didn't like the sound of "int," so they decided to change them all to either "unt"s or "iunt"s. For this one, they picked "unt." DX
