(We could just continue from the last one and go fro there =3)
After Xander had shut the door to his new room with Frost, he was left standing there wondering what he should say. Sure he had started the obvious then agreed with Frost but he wasn't sure what to do next. Since it was only resent that he actually stayed at HQ he didn't have to worry about a permanent roommate until now. Did the other blond snore? Would he be annoyed when Xander mostly kept Conrad out of his pokeball at night? Would he mind that most of the time Xander would skip normal meal times and then later cook a non-cafeteria made meal?
There were so many things that would have to be addressed but he wasn't sure when would be a good time to address them, or even what should be mentioned first. Xander doubted he would have to worry about Frost being messy or loud but it still came back in his mind, would they still be able to get along as they had? And one other important thing he kept in mind was, would he embarrass his self because of dreams?

Xander. His new roommate was Xander. This was... a good thing? They had been getting along well in the fresh air and space of the forest, but would it be different here in this tiny room? It felt a little awkward to suddenly be sharing a very small living space with somebody you had admitted mutual attraction to... How clean was Xander? Did he leave dirty clothes everywhere? Would he be bringing girls (or boys, given what he knew about the young man) over for ‘sleep overs’ like his last roommate had? Did he snore? Would he object to the occasional night when the internet or a book was far more interesting than the prospect of sleep? Would he eat smelly food in here? Did he drink much alcohol? Too many questions.
“Well,” Frost said eventually, “I... suppose I should give you the tour. That is my bed. That is your bed. That is my closest. That is your closet. That is my set of draws. That is your set of draws. That is my desk. That is your desk. Not much of a tour, I am aware, but I wanted to make sure that all of that was clear from the start.”

Well at least one of them broke the awkward silence. Xander gave Frost a smile after his eyes had followed where the older man has gestured. "Thank you, it does help to know all of that." he said with a nod. He walked over to his bed and put his back pack on top of it. It didn't hold everything he had inside but everything else he kept in his home town since he had mostly traveled.
The teen then turned his attention back to Frost and he chuckled. "Do you think we should get the 'rules of the room' out of the way now? I've heard it's rather important to set boundaries when your rooming with someone but I honestly have never shared a room permanently with someone before." he said, slightly rambily from his nervousness but he spoke in a rather honest tone. He had decided to be honest with his roommate on somethings before he had learned at the last minute that it was to be Frost. But now that he knew it was Frost he didn't want to mess up as they were technically still doing first impressions.

“That’s a good start,” Frost nodded, “my last roommate didn’t care for rules at all... Rule one: Rubbish goes in the bin, not on the floor, and when the bin is full it is emptied not left to overflow. Rule two: Do not leave heaps of dirty clothes on the floor; put them in the basket you will find in your closet and wash them when the basket fills if not before. Rule three: Wash bedding at least once a week, and if you have ‘company’,” the small man actually made air quotes, “wash them immediately. Rule four: If you are going to have ‘company’, give me prior notice so that I know not to walk in. Rule five: Do not touch any of my possessions without permission and I will extend you the same courtesy. Rule six: We vet one another’s testes in music, and anything disliked by either party is to be played on headphones only. Rule seven: I am happy to clean and vacuum the room, but I will only do your side if the floor is clear and the surfaces uncluttered... Perhaps we should be writing these down?”
He hoped Xander didn’t think he was being excessive or obsessive... It was a little silly to already care about whether or not the young man thought that; just because he was pretty/handsome was no call to be preoccupied by his opinion. He supposed it did make sense to consider it though; he had no idea how long they would be living together, and so they needed to understand one another and respect one another’s boundaries. It was better for him to let the grey-eyed young man know all of his pet peeves now to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.

At Frost's reminder at writing the rules done, Xander dug out a notebook and a pen before writing them down. "For rule one, I have no problem with it as trash every where is gross. Rule two, agree completely as dirty clothes smell if left out too long and I ten to clean them every three days or so anyway. Rule three, I tend to wash my bed clothes every other week or sooner depending on circumstances but I can bump it to once a week no problem. Rule four, well I don't sleep around so any 'company' I would bring over would be months away anyway." Seeing as Xander planned on staying a virgin until he found a life partner that would not be any trouble for him.
"Rule five sounds fair and so does rule six. You don't have to clean and vacuum my side if you don't want to as I plan on keeping it rather clean anyway." he said as he thought back to all the times he had to face the wrath of his mother for not cleaning. He looked over at Frost with a thoughtful look on his face before he let out a soft sigh. "I do have to mention some things though I can't think of any rules at the moment as you've done a pretty good job of that."
"Some times I have weird dreams and that leads me to wonder around in the halls at night so don't mind me if I get up and leave the room sometime during the night. I can sleep talk sometimes during said dreams as well so if that would be a problem then you might want to mention it." he wouldn't be happy going back on the sleeping pills that curb the dreams as they always made him feel lethargic for half the day but he would if he would be a bother. "I tend to let Conrad out of his pokeball at odd times during the day and night so I shall ask him to be quiet and not mess with your side." he said with a smile.

Oh good, Xander was going to cooperate. Feeling rather more relaxed, but looking as cool and controlled as ever, Frost nodded slightly as the young man continued speaking. "Well, I shall leave you to your wanderings then," he nodded, "and you can hardly help what you do when you're asleep. If your talking annoys me, I will invest in earmuffs or something. Mmh. So long as he behaves I have no objection to Conrad being out; I have Skiron out of his pokeball most of the time as well... Other things. Sometimes I find more interesting things to do than sleep like working on plans or research or similar. I can ether use the desk lamp in that case, or go out of the room if it will disturb you." He wanted things to remain amicable, and perhaps even to become friendly; he might prefer to stay in the room to work of his designs, but if it would bother Xander he could find himself a quiet corner of the library or some such.
"Returning to the rules, if I have started to clean my side of the room I may as well do yours as well. I am quite good at cleaning, I can get things done quickly... Or we could both clean, take as task each or something." Cleaning with somebody was a novel idea. His previous roommate, and fellow trainees back in Johto, had shown no interest in cleaning at all. When he had lived with Dith it was understood that he did the cleaning and that the massive Russian cooked, fetched things off high shelves, and did any necessary heavy lifting. It might be quite nice to work together with somebody to get the room in good order.

Well at least Frost didn't seem to mind the dreams. "It's shouldn't be a problem, even if he can be hyper at times he's well behaved." Even if the Eevee wanted to play a few simple words could have him calm down so that was no trouble. "Light doesn't bother me so if I'm trying to sleep and your still working we wont have issues." He tended to sleep like the dead besides the dreams so even if Frost had all the lights on and made a normal level of sound he would be fine.
"We could both clean, maybe had assigned tasks or such." Xander smiled. "I would much rather be useful for more then just my stuff." Mother sometimes did have him and his dad clean with her and usually working together made the normally boring tasks fun.

"Well that all sounds good," Frost nodded, "and I am happy to assign given cleaning duties if that is your preference..." What else was there to say and do? Oh, yes, good point; Xander had done little more than close the door behind him. "Do you require... do you wish assistance in moving in? Have you much else other than what you have there to fetch?" It was a polite offer to make, and he had to admit to being interested in seeing what kind of knickknacks and other paraphernalia Xander owned. Dith has always said that you could tell a lot about a person by their bedroom which was almost certainly true; he himself might not be able to guess at a man's character by what they put on their dresser but that didn't mean he wasn't interested.

Xander gave Frost a smile for his troubles. "I don't keep much with me, and nothing I own stays here except for maybe a few spare uniforms. This is the first permanent room I've had in HQ since training so most of my stuff is still in my home town. Unless your willing to got with me to retrieve it then no thank you, I don't need any help." he said then started to pull out a few things from his backpack, including his clothes so they could be put away, his laptop and some more random items like a picture, a small figurine of a Haunter and a book with violin sheet music.

"Not today," Frost said with a shake of his head, presuming it was a request, "but another day I would be quite willing. Just be sure whatever it is will fit... will fit in here. Music? You are musical? What do you play?" What was that a picture of? Why a Haunter? He had a lot of questions but didn't really think he ought to ask any of them right now. Get Xander settled, grill him more once he was... It would be nice to share a room with somebody who could play music around, so long as Xander didn't play anything egregious, and didn't play whatever it was he played egregiously.

Xander blinked at Frost in surprise before a smile shown through. "Well then, let me know when your not to busy, yes?" So far it looked like they hadn't lost that easiness that they had in the forest so that was good. "Anything I would bring should fit as I don't plan on bringing anything too big." he held the music book in his hands an looked at it with a fond smile. "I play the violin. Do you play anything?" he asked, suddenly wishing for his violin to be on hand instead of at his home town house where he had left it his last visit.

"Having had time off today it won't be until next week, but I think I should be able to take an afternoon off on... Friday perhaps? Well, since we're roommates now I can easily tell you what my schedule is..." Did he play anything? His mind wandered to the case hidden under his bunk, but he managed to keep his gaze from doing the same. It was foolish to keep it when he didn't intend to play it again. He didn't want to just throw it away though, or to sell it. It was a piece of history. Being sentimental was foolish. It was important. It didn't matter. That blasted woman.
"No," Frost went on after a moment, his voice and manner as neutral as ever, "I don't play an instrument."

"Friday would be great, thank you." Xander said with a grin. He briefly wondered hos his new roommate and his parents would get along and had to actively keep his grin the same rather then let it get bigger. He idly started to fiddle with the Haunter figurine as he wondered why Frost seemed to suddenly turn into a shut door. He didn't close off until he had asked him about playing an instrument. Xander blinked then gave him a curious look but didn't press seeing as they were no where near knowing each other enough for that. "Ah, that's too bad. Do you have any 'absolutely don't do this' that I should know about?" he asked, trying to nudge the conversation away from what was clearly an uncomfortable subject.

“Humm... I think we have covered most things in the rules,” Frost replied with a thoughtfully frown, “if I think of anything extra though I will be sure to tell you. And you? Do you have any ‘pet peeves’?” So far it felt as though he had been the one setting down all the boundaries. If that was because Xander just wasn’t a demanding sort fair enough, but if it was because he was just keeping quiet about some things problems could arise in the future and that was the last thing he wanted. They were getting along. He wished that to continue.
"Better to speak now than to hold your peace and have me do something that you absolutely despise," the small blond added after a moment. "I can assure you if there is something it won't make me angry, and I find it very unlikely that I will be unwilling to accommodate."

Xander furrowed his eye brows in thought. He honestly didn't have many pet peeves his self and most of those had already been discussed with out him even having to say they were problems for him. He couldn't think of one at the moment other then... Xander looked over at Frost with a look that clearly said he was measuring how much trust he could give to the other man when they had only met a few hours ago. Finally after what seemed to feel like forever the teen blinked and his eyes softened their look to a trusting sort. "The only think I can think of at the moment is this; any and all plants and grass type pokemon have to be discussed before they enter this room. That is something that is not negotiable." If Frost reacted favorably to what he might as well put down as a rule then he would tell the older man why it was in place.
