bunnyilove Name: Winston Hill Nickname: Winny. D: Gah! His mother calls him this and it annoys him greatly. Age: 7 Birthday: April 7th Sign: Aries Gemstone: Pearl Blood Type: A- Fav. Food: PB & J Hated Food: Peas School: Knightside Elementary Hobbies: Superman: After watching the old movies, he is obsessed with this comic. His room, house, floors, anything you can image being cover is covered in superman stuff. Superman is his idol, he follows a good righteous law that he made up in his mind that superman and himself to follow. Winston is so obsess that he almost convince himself that one day that he will become the next Superman and save the world. He does like most of all the rest of the superheros and goes to see there movies but his favorite is Superman. On a side note: He wishes that he had cool black hair. Exploring: This child loves to explore the world. He loves to get out and find something new. He is always outside and hates when he is indoors because he feel cooped up. He loves to take nature walks or climbing mountains. If you want to find Winston it will be to look outside and up a tree because he’s more then likely climbing a tree. He also really enjoys swimming. Really he just loves to be outside. Virtues: Brave: I’ll do it! If someone is afraid of doing something Winston will stand right up to do it. He likes to take risk and isn’t afraid of getting hurt. If someone is worried that this will get him or her in trouble or hurt he will be the first one to test it out. He takes big risks on anything and everything. If there were a dragon in his way he wouldn’t be scare, he would take it on with his bare hands. This kid has no boundary, like really, he'll do anything if he thinks he's up to it. He's someone that will run right into situation, not think about and just do it because simply that brave. Right now at his age he's just simply doesn't seem to be too scare of things because he doesn't know or care not to know that it's scary. Confident: Yeah, Winston knows he can do that, even if it's not the smartest thing. Simply, if he knows that he going to do it then he's confident in his himself even in his wildest attempts of anything that he does. Simply Winton, doesn't worry, why worry when he knows that he can do. If he going to do something then he knows that he can do it. He has tons of confident in whatever he does because he knows for sure that he won't fail! Chivalrous: Sticking to his code, that he made for him and Superman has made this little boy a very chivalrous person. He already has the brave trait that came naturally to him. But the other to traits that are under chivalrous came after watching the movies. He's highly loyal to all his friends. Once Winston decides you're his friend there no going back he's yours to the end. If you need something done he's there to help, superman is always there and do is he. He's also very courtesies of he's fellow mates and adults, though his mom catches him being unlike this more then he like. He tries his hardest to stand tight to his code and this has made him a very chivalrous boy. Oh and be careful, if he think your a dame in distress he won't rest until you're ok. Flaws: Hyperactive: This little 7 year old can not sit still. He is constantly moving around or playing with things. He tends to ask tons to questions, as he also cannot focus on one thing at a time. He is always moving on to another event because he cannot stay on one thing for more then a few days. He also tends to talk very fast and fidget when he has to stand still. This tends to cause a lot of trouble because he has a hard time listing to direction or anything to be real. He tends to have to do things three or four times because he can't take the time to just sit there and do it. This also hurts him because he tends to do things at such a fast past that it isn't really good quality. He half-fast things and the thing he does aren't very good because of this. Gullible: Winston tends to believe anything and everything that comes out of people’s mouth. He does have some limits because his mother taught him wrong from right but simple thing he tends to believe. For example, if someone says to him the sky is falling he would go outside to check. Also, when someone tells him something, he is always asking back "really", to make sure. This causes Winston to get a heck of a lot of trouble because he will do a lot of things that people to tell him. He will grab thing he’s to suppose to, steal if the person convince him well enough that’s it’s not really stealing, and/or lie, cheat, etc for this reason. He tends to do bad things if the person is ok at convincing him, so it doesn’t take too much convincing. Which makes him cringe, this is a inner struggle with him because he tries to stay to his code but sometimes his mind wander and tries to see the good everyone so he listens to what he see is his best judgement. Distracted: Winston tend to sway away from things all the time. If your talking to him, more then likely he's listening and then about five second later his looking at something that has caught his attention. He can't really help it, he has a short attention span and if you can't fully keep his attention then his mind to flow to other then that will. This is a flaw because he day dreams way too much and tends to miss things when people are talking to him or when instruction or giving out. This also hinders because it always takes him forever to finish something, because he’s either daydreaming or isn’t able to focus. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Eyes: Blue. His eyes are round and childish and full of life. Hair: His hair is a blonde hue, kept short and tidy. It’s very curly and only about a half of inch off his head. Face: A round full face. He still has some baby fat on him and his cheeks are a bit chubby. Because of the baby fat he looks a bit younger then he really is. He has a peachy skin color with lightly red hue on his cheeks. Clothes: He likes to wear short or kakis or pants. He wear graphic tee’s of all short. He isn’t picky about clothes.

Senshi:Sailor Chibi Euphrosyne, Senshi of Joy
Challenge: You're in for a joyful ride!
Fuku Colour: Main Color:Light Yellow Secondary Color:White/light Blue.
Fuku: Blah Blah Blah 8U Natsu is using her wonderful powers to make him cute. C:
Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Euphrosyne Joyful Clap. Euphrosyne summons all the joy the room and pulls it towards him. He places it in his hands and claps together. It sends out tiny little waves to move the negative emotion away from him. So, since a nega sends off a negative wave it would push them back about 3 feet away from him.
Cons to this: The full effects only works on lieutenants, youmas, and DMS/ corrupt senshi; if someone is a captain or super senshi it would only push them back about 1 foot if that. If someone is a general, general-king/queen, eternal senshi then it will not work at all.
Pros: That it will seen off a weaker enemy away from him, which would give more time to run, plan, or attack.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Euphrosyne Double Joyful Clap. Just the same as above but instead of doing it once it does it twice. So it would move the nega away about 6-7 feet away from him.
Cons to this: This time, the full effects will now only works on lieutenants, captains, youmas, and super senshi. If someone is a general, general-king/queen, eternal senshi then it will not work at all.
Pros: That it will seen off a weaker enemy away from him, which would give more time to run, plan, or attack.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Euphrosyne Joyful Ring! Euphrosyne summons all the joy in the room and makes a loud cheer for his team. Giving a speed boost to 2-3 senshi that is in a 3 feet radius around him. This would last about one turn or one post for each senshi.
Cons to this: If there is no senshi in a 3 feet radius then this attack fells. It doesn't work on him, only other senshi.
Cons to all of these: If there isn't a joyful person or vibes then his attacks will fell. So if a lot people are effect in by the fighting in the area then none of his attack would work. Most of the time Euphrosyne is happy to help by fighting because he inspires to be the next superman but if he is truly effected by the killing of people and no one is joyful at the moment he summons his attack then his attack will fell.

You know... I haven't had a chance to read the whole quest... however the thing that catches my eye is that you're doing Christmas... spirit even.
I attempted this a while ago, back in the old shop, and was told it was too new of an idea. While I don't know what NEW staff will say, I want to suggest you not get too attached to this sphere because it very well maybe nixed.
For the Crystal Millennium you need to think around..... BC era. I'm not really sure if it's 500 BC or 2000 BC but unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's older than 1 AD.

I'm with LP, and I kind of feel that this sphere may be far too Modern. Additionally, you've made a couple errors: Technically, Pagans DID NOT Celebrate Christmas. They Celebrated Yuletide and related celebrations, which didn't involve Santa, Reindeer, or anything related, including the Christian Christ. Technically Christianity 'coopted' the Yuletide Holiday, the way they did Easter and several of it's fertility symbols (The bunny's, birds and eggs), and borrowed the Tree, the Yule Log, The Holy and ivy, and used it as a sort of "Instant PR" to try and coax dedicated followers of much OLDER traditions to jump on board their NEW religion. For your first level attack you have "Santa" boosting attacks of both Senshi AND Nega 'until he's attacked' which really makes me wonder why any of them WOULD attack him, since he'd be doing the Nega's as many favors as the Senshi. It seems to me like you might want to consider in the 'spiritual brotherhood and cuddles' vein, that you might want to go with an 'attack' that instead shoots for the brotherhood and love aspect of things, and have his attack maybe make people not want to attack each other? A sense of peace and placidity and acceptance perhaps? Clearly people could potentially shake this off, but it could have very interesting rp effects. Additionally: If the Christmas Spirit thing is indeed nixed for the reasons LP and I have suggested, maybe he could be the Chibi Senshi of Brotherhood? If you went this route I'd really ditch the Reindeer plush. Aside from being one of the most overplayed carols ever (bricked), it's SUPER modern, and Chibi's don't actually all have to carry plushies, Hug Bell just set off a trend of the cute and fluffy. wink Anyway: here's a couple links you might find useful: Yule on Wikipedia -Blood, sacrifice, and all kinds of good stuff. Winter Festivals in general More random Christmas Trivia There's a lot out there on rituals that really predate Christmas as we celebrate it and as 'Chibi Santa' seems to represent it, and I think if you want this sort of winter-celebration sphere it seems like it should/could somehow nod to the traditions that would have potentially actually existed back in the Silver Millennium, and not as much to very modern carols and "Yes Virginia". OH: (edit) Another thought you might want to keep in mind with such a frighteningly young boy. ((Six is really young to be sneaking out and being around negas who can and will try and KILL people, sometimes in really unpleasant ways.)) Aside from this, Six year olds still need a LOT of sleep: Quote: 3-6 Years Old: 10 - 12 hours per day Children at this age typically go to bed between 7 and 9 p.m. and wake up around 6 and 8 a.m., just as they did when they were younger. 7-12 Years Old: 10 - 11 hours per day He'd definitely be getting less than this, even a LOT less if he's actively out on "duty", and this would show, very clearly. Little kids are pretty well known, and for good reason, for getting emotional, angry, and sulky when tired, and if he was losing hours a night sneaking out, getting into town, and then getting attacked by nightmareish monsters and baddies... even if he spends nights off he's probably going to suffer some bad dreams for it, and it will all cost him sleep. This will draw attention from his loving mother, and she's likely to become worried and suspicious, trying to figure out what's causing him these problems. Also if she does find out: NO (Sane/loving) MOM is going to let a six year old, regardless of their claims to power, out to fight people who will rip their star seed out and kill them.

Hmm I thought maybe his sphere would cause trouble but I want to wait until a GM actually say something about it, but I will be looking at the links you gave me Ryu! C:
And yeah 6 may be a little too young thinking about. I change it too ten. C: And is there something wrong with having a plush? I like stuff animals and think it's cute. C: And I put that "until He's attacked" as a caution. Just incase it does happen. You never know what happen during fights and I just want to make sure I cover everything. c:
And Oh! I thought the pagan's actually did. My mistake Ryu, thanks for clearing that up.

Hi bunny!
It's an interesting sphere, I think. But I agree with everyone above that it might end up being difficult to really get. A fair bit of Christmas tradition is borrowed from Pagan holidays like Saturnalia, but a lot is also modern invention (ex. the appearance of Santa that's familiar to us is pretty much an invention of Coca Cola, woodsy/earth colors like green and brown are actually more traditional. 'Santa Claus' is a pretty modern concept itself, based off of the real St. Nicholas).
Not a crit, but: I just want to caution you too, that you might want to avoid a sphere that's really kitschy. Right now you think it's cute, and sure it is, but I'd hate to see you get a character with a holiday based power that maybe 6 months from now you might hate/be sick of. I like Ryu's suggestion of brotherhood, because I think it's more diverse/workable, but generalizing to just 'cheer' instead of christmas spirit would work well too. It'd keep the same feel, but make the sphere less of a novelty. That's just my own opinion, but maybe a GM will feel differently about this sphere. Or maybe it is a sphere that you will love to death forever, only you can really know that.
I try to think of it like a tattoo, sure you would like to get a tattoo of a fluffy pink bunny, but a year from now or later on, you might regret what you chose , you know? If you think that this sphere is one that you will be happy with in the long-run, and able to RP in various situations, then great! Stick with it! It's applicable to any sphere really, not just this one. Especially if you're thinking about trying for an RL slot, make sure you choose something you'll be really happy with. I'm only worried that come Christmas, or after that, you might feel ... sick of Christmas-y things.
--- Actual Crit:
Sledding is a cute hobby. You also mention that he aspires to do snowboarding too? I don't see why you can't have snowboarding as hobby right now. Since you aged him up, it's perfectly reasonable that he would be learning to snowboard. (As a person that grew up in a mountain region, I can certainly say that people do learn to ski at a young age, an move to snowboards when they have a bit better balance. 10 seems like a good age to start to learn if it's something he's passionate about).
I think your virtues are okay, but it would be really helpful if you could describe how each one would affect his interactions with other people. Does Winston clean up after his friends too? Would he nag them about cleaning? Does he get easily disgusted by a mess? You say he cleans up after his mother, making sure it's to her standards. That doesn't make sense to me if he got that trait from her. It's more likely that she would clean up after him or they clean together. (There's also only so many cleaning chores that a doting mother would pawn off on a 10 year old (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing the floor/counters. maybe nothing with strong chemicals and too labor intensive.) )
You say he likes cooking in your virtues too, or trying to cook, why isn't some form of cooking a hobby then?
-Reindeer plushie. As a chibi owner, I just want to agree with the others that a plush isn't mandatory, just a trend. If you want one, I don't see why not... but nobody is going to force you have one either. I don't know if there's really any concrete rules about plushies at the moment. So go for it until someone tells you otherwise! Though personally I think it might not be the best thing to do (Chibi Moon never had a plush after all XD) just because I think that in the case of christmas spirit, it's not necessary and it might be more fun to channel magic though carols/touching/ or magic stars. If you do change the sphere, you'll probably want to ditch the reindeer. Your call.
While your senshi stuff is cute, I worry that it's all just for the lulz. Like the term 'Bah Humbug' is modern-ish (A Christmas Carol), I don't think it's really appropriate to use as a power name. Could be a cute challenge though? Again, a gm might disagree, so we'll see.
I also don't really get the powers. I think it would be better if "I believe" literally only works on those who 'believe' in the virtues of Christmas. Maybe the power works better at/around winter/Christmas and fails much much more at other times of the year, or doesn't work well at all after tragic circumstances. I think flipping how the power works at the 2nd stage is odd. First it's good, then it's bad? That transition is weird to me. I think it would work better if at the 2nd stage, the warm-fuzzy Christmas spirit is infectious and begins to rub off on others.
The eternal power doesn't say Christmas spirit to me at all, whatsoever. The eternal should really be the sphere at it's very best. "Shining Star' is just, blinding... not really something that goes with the good-feeling I would expect from Christmas Spirit. I would go back to the drawing board on that one.
Try to keep in mind that chibi powers should be fairly 'fail'-ish. Having the first two powers effect everyone within 10 ft seems much too strong for a chibi.
Please do take what I say with a grain of salt. It's your quest, and you have the right to make it the way you want to. I just believe that the sphere will probably be tricky to pull off. Best of luck to you though!
Edit: It also just occurred to me, that focusing on a power based around a religious holiday might not be the best idea. I know that your intentions are good and you don't mean to offend anyone, but you never know how someone might take your interpretation of Christmas Spirit. It might not be okay to force a character to feel Christmas Spirit when they don't celebrate Christmas? (believers/non-believers is really subjective and someone could take offense at that) You know what I mean? I sincerely hope you don't take anything I've said as being too harsh, I just think it's better to be cautious with this type of sphere.

You asked for crit, so here we go~~
In general, you relate a lot of Winston's personality traits directly to his mother, and how his mother interacts with him. I recommend taking out as many mom-references as you possibly can -- the aim of a profile is to show how he interacts with other characters. As it stands, his profile tells me a lot about how he behaves around his mother and not very much about how he behaves around other characters.
HOBBIES:
Sledding seems a bit odd to have as a hobby: not that sledding isn't fun, but there only snow so many days out of the year in the part of the US Destiny City is in. You wouldn't be able to RP it when it's not winter, so it doesn't exactly work! If you don't want to get rid of it completely, I'd recommend extending the hobby to other outdoorsy activities he enjoys and makes sledding a part of it.
Watching Cartoons really doesn't tell me much about this character's personality at all. All it says it that he... just likes to watch cartoons. Does he really have no preference, or would the cartoons he likes be related to his other interests? Does his interest in his favorite shows extend beyond just watching them? Cartoons usually have a lot of different types of merchandise, such as clothes and bookbags and even breakfast cereals associated with them. Maybe he has some backpacks or shirts or something depicting his favorite characters?
VIRTUES:
Again, I would like to see fewer references to his mother: namely, stating that he has this virtue because his mother has it, especially when the characteristics in question are the kind you might expect kids to observe out of their parents.
Motherly seems a bit hodge-podge because of the above. You have a mix of "helpful" and "caring," all based on what a typical mom-character does. This makes it a bit of a weak trait because it's going in a few different directions. What I'd recommend is to just make this a Helpful virtue, and extend how he 'tires out helping his mother' to generally being willing to assist others. You could also make a Caring virtue and focus on how he keeps an eye on his friends to make sure they're happy and safe. I would personally go with the Caring trait since it does a little more to make him stand out!
Mentioning he might be annoying to his friend because of this is something that should be in the flaw set. You might want to consider extending this to a flaw of some kind -- maybe he's Overbearing with his caring or a little too Pushy with his helpfulness?
Tidy would be a solid virtue if you showed how it applies outside of cleaning his room / doing chores. Is he tidy at school, too? Is he a less messy eater than his peers? If he's on a shopping trip and he picks up an item he doesn't need, will he put it back on the shelf he took it from?
Imaginative has a lot of flowery description but not much substance to it. How does this make him a likable person? What would his friends like about his imaginativeness? If his overactive imagination makes him daydream a lot or take a long time to do even really simple tasks, it might be better as a flaw than a virtue!
FLAWS:
Clingy seems fine, and would balance well with a Caring virtue -- again, I doubt you're actually going to include his mother much in RPs if you obtain his character, so saying he cliings to her doesn't help other RPers much. I would go more indepth on how this affects other characters: how does he act around people he clings to? What sort of people might he act clingy around? Is it hard to pry him off once he starts?
On his Hyperactive trait: If this character is focused enough to clean his room and do his chores thoroughly, I have a really hard time believing that he is as scatterbrained as you are trying to describe him as being here. I'd highly recommend you scrap this and replace it with a flaw that fits better with the rest of his personality.
Gullible needs to be expanded on a bit more so we can get a feel of how gullible he is, and what sort of things he might do because of it. You said that he'll believe a simple lie, but how ridiculous does a story have to get before he doesn't believe it? Even if he knows "right" from "wrong," would he be easy to convince into something 'bad' if someone tried to reassure him that it isn't as 'wrong' as he thinks it is / isn't bad if you don't get caught / being done for good reasons?
OVERALL:
When I read over this profile I see a "typical kid" character: that is, a lot of his traits are things you'd percieve just about any child to have. His profile is fairly balanced, but in order for it to stand out more you should work to make him a unique ten-year-old instead of the type of person you'd expect a ten-year-old would be. Giving him more personalized hobbies, virtues and flaws would help a lot with this: noting that he's an unusually caring kid among his peers helps this a little, but it needs a bit more work.
Instead of writing him as a typical ten-year old, I recommend you imagine comparing him to a typical ten-year old. What interests does he have that sets him apart? What personality strengths does he have that you wouldn't normally expect from his peer group, and what personality weaknesses does he have that you don't usually see from kids? If you think about things from this angle it'll make it easier to write a profile that stands out.

I know you're thinking about doing Eunomia and being on ********* team, but I couldn't help at offering some suggestions of other possible senshi names that fit well with happiness. Also, most of ********* girls have spheres that are based around their mythology. I.E. Iris and rainbows. Eunomia's mythology is based around law, I think?
Things that fit happiness really nicely:
Asteroid 59 Elpis: Elpis was the female personification of hope. She along with the other daimones were trapped inside a jar by Zeus and entrusted to the care of Pandora the first woman. When she in her curiousity released the harmful spirits from the jar, Elpis (Hope) remained behind to comfort mankind
Asteroid 31: Euphrosyne: Goddess of Joy and one of the three graces. She is the happy smiling one, bubbling over with laughter.
Asteroid 679 Pax: Pax generally means peace and was also a Roman god.
Other asteroids that have similar happiness type related meanings might be: Concordia, Fides, Felicitas.
(Comets and Stars can also be a bit underloved!) Happy Questing!

To add to Zipp's comment if you do a senshi of happiness it really wouldn't fit the theme of ********* girl. Because all of ********* girls have sphere's based on their greek mythology and their namesakes. Sailor Iris senshi of rainbows, Sailor Metis senshi of 3rd sight, Sailor Irene Senshi of peace, Sailor Hygiea senshi of HEALTH/herbs, Sailor Egeria senshi of mischief. If you're going for one of ********* girl's Lizzy would probably strongly suggest you use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eunomia_(goddess) THIS information to pick your sphere. So if you're stuck on the sphere of happiness totally look at other options because Eunomia is anything but happiness.

CIVILIAN
- "Brave" and "Confident" are conflicting a little bit. In "Brave," you say that he would take any risk and even try to a fight a dragon, but in "Confident," you say that he knows his limits really well. Someone who knows their limits wouldn't necessarily be described as "risk-taking." Clarify what you mean in this. Is he the kid who will ride wildly into any situation because he is simply THAT brave? Or is he the cool, confident type who knows exactly what he is capable of and won't go beyond that? He can't be both. "Knowing his limits" also might conflict with your description of him as a kid who is willing to believe anything and everything so long as someone is being persuasive.
- "Hyperactive" is more of a description of a trait, as opposed to showing us why it is bad. Make sure you are specific in why his fidgety/hyper nature causes problems for him. Does he never listen to directions? Does he lose friends because he can't focus on them?
- I'd tweak "Imaginative" so that it sounds like a flaw. The last two sentences address why it is bad, but over half of the trait seems to be saying why it is a good thing. I would retitle this as "Distracted" or "Absent-minded" and instead write why it is a bad thing for him throughout the description.
SENSHI --
The powers look fine to me. He is a little chibi senshi so I'm not too worried about it having super specific battle mechanics!
