 Annora sat down in the rocking chair provided, her skirt gathered carefully around her legs as she watched Pacha. The two of them were waiting to see if any other children would show up for the posted Sing-Along, but she doubted if many would appear. She'd given Pacha a paper filled with outlines of numbers and simply-drawn pictures, along with a packet of large crayons, and the girl was diligently, if messily, coloring as they waited.
The volunteer sing-along was only for an hour, and the thought of it had seemed to delight Pacha enough that Annora had agreed. If it was a success, perhaps she'd make it regular...

Chehero checked the address on the paper once again her eyes narrowing under the center sign telling their location. For some reason she had decided it would be a great idea if she and Ritsa walked to this child Sing-Along event that had been posted up. She was hopping other small children would be there where her daughter would find someone she could connect with. It wasn't to say she hadn't connected with anyone, but she didn't want her daughter growing up afraid of people. Chehero had seen far to many children grow up that way, and it was damaging.
Ritsa followed slightly behind her mother, still holding onto her hand while grasping her favorite bear in the other. She had been enjoying the walk with her mother as she took a great liking to the bugs all around her. Especially the birds in the trees and the strange little long eared white things, that hopped around, she had to think a moment before remembering they were called bunnies.
Soft singing in the background drew the attention of both parent and child. Perhaps they were late was the thought running threw her head while Ritsa started jumping and pulling Chehero along saying "faster, faster." Checking the paper once again to make sure she had the address correct, the mother smiled letting go of her childs hand as she raced forward towards another small girl off in the distance.

Pacha's left ear lazily flicked around at the sound of approaching footsteps, seeming to track them though the girl in the sweatshirt didn't look up from her coloring. Even now, she was working hard on number 10, making large, untidy circles of lime green. "Peoples," she offered, knowing the sound of the footsteps well enough as humanoid.
Annora watched her with amusement, her lips twitching slightly. She never got tired of seeing those ears act independent of each other, or the focus Pacha gave things. They weren't like peas in a pod, she and her child, but that just made everything all the more interesting for now.
Pacha finally looked up as she set the crayon back in the bag. She'd almost seemed to time the coloring to finish just as the other two were right upon them, and her left hand reached up, shoving her bangs out of her eyes with a casual gracelessness that left thick strands sticking everywhere. "Hi, Peoples," she said to both, though her eyes were riveted on the small pink girl.

"People's!?" Rista retorted sounding rather annoyed at having been called something other than her actual name. Her hands flew dramatically to her hips as she pouted down at the girl in front of her. The yellow shirt Ritsa was so accustomed to wearing in this hot weather shifted so the neck was tugged tight against the right side of her neck and hung loosely leaving her left shoulder bare. In the back the shirt was held together by loose strings tied together showing Ritsa's white almost fur like back. "I'm not People's! I'm Ritsa!" The small girl nodded once as she spoke to make sure the other girl got the correction to her name. "And this, this is Marshet!" Ritsa held her bear out in front of her lovingly.
Chehero watched her daughter from a distance, perhaps the run in with Zyanya had changed the small worm a little. After all Rista seemed more sure of herself now then she was before. Chehero would have to watch to make sure she didn't fall into the same rude bully like category. Looking over Ritsa once more Chehero made a mental note to find a belt to hold up her daughters black cargo pants they seemed just a little to baggy today. Not to mention she hadn't tested the size of the shoes yet, though she was sure Ritsa would complain if the shoes became to small.
Setting down her pack on the ground Chehero proceeded to set out a small blanket on the ground. Ritsa wasn't fond of the feel of grass it was to "sharp" to her, whatever that meant. Looking around for chance there might be more than the furry child Chehero was disappointed. So far it seemed she was the only one to have arrived.

Annora fought a chuckle at the pink girls' obvious indignation, waiting to see how Pacha would handle it on her own. Instead, she made her way over toward Chehero, offering a hand when she got close enough. "Hi," she said, keeping her voice low and gentle. "I'm Annora. I'm glad to see someone made it out to the class."
Pacha nodded, taking in Ritsa's words carefully as she reached up to scratch under one ear. The other flicked to one side, listening to Annora introduce herself before Pacha dismissed that conversation in favor of this one. As Annora had taught her to do, she solemnly reached out one hand to the bear, taking one of its paws very carefully. "Hi, Ritsa and Marshet," she said, with great care for each name. When that was done, she let go, her head lifting a little to look up at Ritsa through her bangs. "I'm Pacha." Though her eyes were hidden, she smiled.

"Thanks!" Chehero smiled warmly up at the woman, "it seems like a wonderful way to get children together. Ritsa sure could use a friend." The mother nervously glanced towards Ritsa as she set the pack on the ground and proceeded to unpack it. Pulling out gummy snacks, crackers, cheese and various other forms of Ritsa's favorite snack foods. "Do you suspect any more children will be joining us?"
Smiling over at the bright girl before her Ritsa nodded her head vigorously "We are happy to meet you!" Pulling the bear tightly back into her arms the smile continued to shine. "And we like you." she finished with a thought reaching out to take Pacha's hand. "Come we have snacks, want some?"
