A tired and dragging Net managed to teleport her way into Reversed after several days of not stopping by. Collapsing into a booth, the mew whined pitifully at herself. She had to stop doing this.

For the last three days she had taken to covering shifts at the hospital with no change to return home. Sure she got to take naps at least, thankful for a room where nurses could so as such, but it wasn't the same. At least this time, as opposed to when that odd pokemon had shown up, she had remembered to actually go and get lunch at the cafeteria. Of course that was... several hours ago and she was starving again.

She'd probably be at the hospital cafeteria if they hadn't of forced her to take the next few days off. And what was she likely going to do those next few days? Sleep forever. Maybe. Swimming sounded good too...

Several days had passed since he'd seen Net. This wasn't strange though, as he assumed it was because of work.

So he was pleasantly surprised as the bell above the door tinkled and he peeked out of the kitchen to see her float in, take a seat at a table and collapse. He was out in seconds, plate in hand and a glass of water in the other, setting the two down in front of the mew and sliding into the other side of the booth.

"You know, you're gonna get sick if you keep doing this to your self. Lucky for you, I'm always prepared." He eyed the large sandwich on the plate.

Hearing the clink of the plate in front of her, she managed to sit up enough to where she could eat the large sandwich easily. Though she was small, and often unassuming, she had the apatite of a snorlax most days. Probably because her metabolism was through the roof.

Thankful for the food, and the fact that Pierre was always prepared for her arrivals, she made sure he knew before taking a bite of the sandwich. He always had the best sandwiches, which was probably why she was in here as often as possible. Taking a drink of water after swallowing the bite, she managed a sheepish grin to the cat in front of her.

"I know, I know." He said it every time she showed up after being MIA for days on end. "But I can't help that they need me and that I love my job." Thought as much as she did enjoy working with the kids at the hospital, she did wonder what it would be like to have a less stressful job.

Pierre sighed, resting his cheek in his hand, rolling his eyes. "I know they need you, but what good are you going to be when you're sick?" He chuckled, "just slow down a little - or at least remember to eat. Even if it is a granola bar every few hours. You gotta keep your energy up. Or I'll personally be making meal trip to you, at work."

He eyes glittered mischievously, and he smirked.

"I did good this time," she puffed her cheeks a bit after another bite. her energy was starting to come back but she knew she was still tired as all get out. Shame going home to an empty apartment still didn't sound appealing.

"I kept a bunch of granola bars on me, and I remembered to go to the cafeteria and eat." It was the lack of decent sleep that was getting her now. At his threat, though, her cheeks went bright and she stared at him a bit. "if you could find time to get away and do such a thing."

Knowing him, however, he likely would find the time just to get at her. And he'd enjoy every moment of it too.

His grin grew slightly wider, as he put a hand to her fore head. "you're exhausted."

He sat back, as if in thought, staring at a door that usually went unnoticed. "I have... a little flat upstairs. It's not much. But you're close to the hospital here. If you'd like to stay. You're welcome to."

His touch made her cheeks go brighter, which she quickly hid by ducking her head and finishing her sandwich. But of course she couldn't argue with his statement, she was exhausted and really just wanted to collapse.

Bright blue eyes looked up at him at his offer, ears flat a bit. His offer was sweet and it would be nice to know he was down here should she need anything. "Y-you don't have to offer me such a thing," she replied a bit nervously. "I do have the next few days off..." She wouldn't be needed, wasn't allowed to be needed, until then.

If she didn't just opt to take a vacation and have more time to herself that she didn't know what to do with.

His eyes glittered again. "A vac ca tion huh?" His tone drawling with each syllable. "Even more a reason to stay here!" He chuckled at his apparent enthusiasm. "You need to take some time to yourself. Get waited on a little bit, and relax; reenergize! You know! I'd be more than willing to offer this service." He smirked, for a price.

"I'd like to take one, yes. But I guess a couple of days off amounts to the same thing."

Finishing off the water, the cup was set back down and the mew glanced to the enthusiastic cat warily. He was up to something, she knew he was. But at the same time the offer was rather tempting. Maybe it was because of the prospect of companionship, or maybe she was just too lazy to go home.

"You would huh?" she replied after a moment to ponder. "What's the catch?"
PostPosted: Wed Apr 27, 2011 10:31 pm

His smile grew, as he rested his cheek in his hand once again. "No catch. Just you, me, and my waiting on you hand and foot."

He chuckled, "well, maybe a small catch, but but's not really a catch... more.. like a chance. Give me a chance."

Her and him huh? Now that really was a tempting offer, though she didn't have anything to wear here. She did have more energy now that she ate that should could just pop home and grab some clothes though... Hm...

"A chance?" she asked a moment later, having registered (finally) that he'd said something. Yea, she really was in need of a break if thinking kept her too distracted.

He nodded, "a chance." His brows raised.

"Rochelle left some of her stuff her, when she left. So I'm sure you could find something to wear for tonight. Then you can pop home when you've had some sleep." He leaned forward. "Deal?"

She wasn't a hundred percent sure what he meant by giving him a chance, but for some reason she felt compelled to give him this chance he seemed to so badly want. What harm was there, she wondered, tail tip swishing about while she pondered. Ears perking foreword as she heard him shift foreword, her focus returned to find him leaning so much closer then he had just been.

"Deal."

Something told her not to pass this by, and she did enjoy his company. Though she was curious about this Rochelle, she didn't remember any one else but Pierre, she opted not to say anything as she scooted out of the booth to stretch. Maybe she'd ask another day.

Delighted, he smiled, stood, paused to let her stretch and then took her hand, pulling gently. "I'll show you up then." He gave her hand a light squeeze, trying not to focus on the hypnotic movement of her tail, and smiled.

He led her through that door, up a narrow stair case, rather quickly - as he was well aware of what small spaces did to her - and came to stop at another door. "I'll warn you. It's... small. But roomy, at least I hope you find it that way."

He opened the next door, leading her into a room of sky blue...

His hand on hers was a distracted, one her mind needed as he lead her through the narrow staircase. She'd been taking her medication more frequently the longer she was at the hospital, her lack of proper sleep putting her on edge the more she was around people. The hospital was big but it was never big enough.

Still she couldn't help the compulsion to grab the pill bottle in her pocket, a reminder that she'd be okay as long as she had her medicine, and when she was lead into a room of bright blue she paused. For a moment her sleep exhausted mind thought she was outside with the color of blue that she met, but the walls around her were a quick reminder that sadly she was still inside.

Overall the feel of the room wasn't too bad, and now that she'd been in this room and recall what it looked like, the narrow hallway wouldn't be a bother. Oh how she loved being able to teleport. Trying to hide a yawn, the pink haired pokehume smiled. "I think this room will be fine."
