Visiting her old homeworld had become a weekly regiment. Sailor Iris would visit the lifeless rock in space one time a week, train until she felt confident enough to give her eternal attack a shot, and each week she found herself disappointed with the result. It had been a long time since she had gone eternal. Almost a year and she still couldn't get it right. The disappointment never seemed to lose its sting.

This week, the blonde suspected it wouldn't be any different. She arrived in the same location as always. There was a bit of sunlight peeking over the horizon, which now no longer surprised her. A few weeks ago she had come during the middle of the day and was absolutely shocked by the sudden presence of sunlight. Sailor Iris had spent a great majority of that visit just checking to make sure she had arrived in her usual spot. All of the ruins were in their proper places. Yet, as she soon enough figured out, with the presence of sunlight came heat. An ungodly heat that somehow seemed appropriate for such a desert-like surrounding. The senshi had learned her lesson well after coming home with her fuku drenched in sweat. Early mornings were ideal for training.

The teen stood there in the dark sand, waving the boomerang she had at hand about a bit in a nearly bored manner. The procedure was quite basic. Throw the boomerang around until she could start feeling the heat of the sun rise up off the sand, then give her Revenge a shot to see how well she faired. Considering how high the sun was already on the horizon, the senshi figured she might have 1 hour, an hour and a half at most.

There was nothing glamorous about throwing a boomerang about. No montages would be made about the glory of throwing that ugly yellow boomerang around. Gold eyes glanced down momentarily at the sad little piece of wood. Some of the paint was already chipping off from all of the use it had.

With a sigh, she threw the boomerang out. She had gotten quite good at the art of throwing the boomerang. It flew out and then whipped back almost like it had been on some invisible fishing line. The catching part was not nearly as mastered. The blonde guessed that maybe it was a 50-50 chance she'd catch her tool now. Right now being the 50% of the time she didn't, as the yellow wood practically bounced out of her hand. It left a sharp snap of pain in her palm, and her tool partially buried in the sand. Experimentally, she opened and closed her hand, as if to make sure it wasn't a drastic injury.

"...everythin' seems t'check out..." she mused to herself with a final open-and-shut motion of her hand before she leaned forward to pick the boomerang up.

And then the teen heard something. It sounded like whistling. For a moment, she looked away, as if trying to find this strange supplier of the tune. There was obviously nobody there to greet her. "...weeeeeeird....." She turned back to what she was going to pick up, and soon enough saw something that wasn't there before.

It was a relatively new looking version of those wagon wheels she had seen at various points on the asteroid of Iris. It had to be at least 3/4 her full height, meaning the wheel itself was currently looming over her crouched over form. She reached out a hand to touch, and found that her hand passed through.

"Oh... right... this sh*t..." She had nearly forgotten about the fact that not everything she saw on the asteroid was tangible. Sometimes she'd remember things, everything in the memory becoming a sort of mirage in the dark-sanded desert. Reluctantly, she sat herself down and watched.

The wheel itself was connected to a wagon, and as she sat there, the senshi noticed there were two gloved hands working. They weren't like the gloves she wore now with the strange magenta V-shape near the hands, but instead a simple dirty-white. The fingers grabbed onto the wheel and seemed to pull, as if checking to see how sturdily it was attached. The fingers did this several times in various places. All in all, it was a very thorough check.

As the hands pulled back, away from the wheel, a familiar voice called out "Aque! Pull forward!" The wheel seemed to magically back away a bit (though Iris was certain it was just her past self backing away instead), then began to roll forward. Eventually the voice chimed in again with a sharp "Okay, Aque, stop!" The wheel (and attached primitive vehicle) ceased to move forward, but the perspective once more began to shift again (it was enough to make Iris' stomach feel a bit queasy, since she was still sitting in place, but the world was moving against her will).

What eventually came into view was Aque in all of his white furred glory with a decorated harness. The harness wasn't something overly fancy, like nobility would have potentially had, but it had pieces of twine in various colors tied onto it.

However, the more impressive thing to come into view was the wagon itself (right behind the llama-like creature). She had seen various wagons before thanks to nearly getting stampeded in a memory by them, but there was something different about this one. Perhaps it was because the wagon looked to be made of a very fair colored wood. It wasn't quite white in color, but perhaps an ivory color. The wheels themselves were the regular color of wood, which made for greater contrast. It was strangely attractive. The other thing that made it seem different was the covering over the wagon. The shape was not quite classic covered-wagon style. It was slightly lower at the front arches, and then got slightly bigger towards the back end. The cloth that covered the arches also seemed more unique. Most of the other wagons had beige canvas material covering it. However, this wagon had something different. It looked like a much finer quality cloth (though it also still seemed durable). It almost had this silky appearance to it. It seemed to be a white color, however, with the way the sun was shining on it...

"Oh my god, it looks like that damned bow on m'a** as a Super Senshi!"

With the sudden exclamation, that mirage that was a memory simply seemed to vanish. Which led to another exclamation. "Oh, SH*T! I wanted t'see more!"

She was left there in the dark sand next to the boomerang partially sticking out where it had landed earlier. She couldn't quite understand it, but there was some strange feeling that was lingering in her heart. It wasn't the first time she had felt this on the asteroid, but at the same time, she couldn't quite place a finger on when she had felt this way before.

There was also something else she was feeling right now. "Ah, hot, hot!" Quickly plucking her boomerang from the sand, the senshi hopped back to her feet, dusting off her butt of any of the sand that might have lingered there. Her gold eyes took another glance at the horizon and found that the sun was already clear in the sky by now.

"Damn! How th'hell long was I sittin' there?!" With a slight huff, she pulled out her phone. There was no use in staying or even trying to pull off some Revenge. With the press of a button, she was gone once again.
