Oh in cosmos name, not again. Damn cat, why did he keep him around again? He should have thrown the monster in the closest ages ago!
Oh Sheridan, you know throwing the cat in the closet would have resulted in far less fun. And by fun I mean chasing him off through the halls of your academy as he runs off with some trinket of yours yet again. But hey, at least it's not your underwear this time!
"Stupid cat, get back here with that!"
It seemed to be the hel-lion's favorite game, this time having run off with the pendant that Sheridan wore around his neck. He had only taken it off for a moment, but it had clearly been a moment too long. The next thing he knew he had looked up to see that wicked little grin just before the cat disappeared in a blur, out the door and down the hall.
"Tanaka! I will turn you into a fur coat!"
He was so going to throw that cat into the closet! Or at least he would have if he didn't know said cat would eat everything else living in there.

The monster dorms; again and again, she would find herself back here although it was pretty out of the way, considering the demon dorms were on the other side. Courage was something she was pretty sure she didn't exactly lack, but there were some things she couldn't bring herself to say to a certain someone quite yet... Hanging by the entrance of the dorm, she paced back and forth, casting occasional glances at the door, expecting a familiar dragon to appear.
Well, one did appear; not the one she was expecting, however.
She stopped her pacing, tilting her head as she stared at the white haired dragon chase what appeared to be a lion down the corridor. Frowning, she wondered if she should... Block the entrance of the dorm to help. Judging from the speed it was moving at, however, she had a feeling it might end badly... For her anyway.
Chewing on her lower lip, Lizzy quickly moved to the entrance, blocking the only exit before frowning at the escaping lion. Ah well.

Hah, like Tanaka was going to stop just because his 'owner' had told him. Not a chance, no way, he was having far too much fun to stop now. Sure he knew he'd be caught eventually, but this moment made it all worth while, and then he'd just give him the cute face and he'd melt, like putty in his paws.
Uh-oh! The hel-lion scrambled, skidding on the floor to stop before he collided with the person who was suddenly blocking his escape. Turn turn turn!
Barreling down the hallway, his attention solely focused on catching the runaway cat, Sheridan was oblivious to the presence of anyone else. It was foolish really, had he been looking where he was going he might have noticed Lizzy standing in the doorway (and gladly accepted her help). He might have also noticed that loose tile on the floor, and--
AHHHHHHH!!!
Too late. Failing to notice any of these things, Sheridan was sent tumbling forward as he tripped over the tile, his momentum sending him sprawling into Lizzy with a thud! Next stop, the floor! Enjoy your trip!
As for Tanaka? He had avoided the pile up and was now sitting, watching with an immensely pleased look on his face.

It happened way too quickly for her to react; she hadn't exactly expected the dragon to trip and fall on her, after all. If it was a certain other dragon, or if she was actually able to process the situation before it happened, she would no doubt be a deep shade of red by now. However, all she could think about as she was accidentally pushed down to the ground, was the fact that he was heavy.
Really really heavy. The fact that her butt hurt from falling didn't help.
Trying her best not to flail (not that she could, anyway, being pretty much pinned down at the moment), Lizzy gently nudged Sheridan nervously in a "please get off me now" way. She doubt she had the strength to push him off.

Oww, that hadn't exactly gone according to play. His hand on his head, Sheridan looked up, his gaze immediately falling on that evil little ball of fuzz. Oh just wait until he got his hands on--wait a minute. What had he landed on--OH JACK!
"I'm sorry!"
Sheridan nearly jumped, scrambling to get to his feet and (more importantly) off Lizzy. Was he a little more silver than usual?
"I..uh...sorry, I didn't see you there!"
A twitch of his tail, a glare shot at the cat he was sure was laughing at him, Sheridan offered his hand to Lizzy.
"Are you okay?"

Now she was blushing; the words 'BAD TOUCHING' in Tess' voice started to repeat itself in her head as she shook her head, looking at the ground instead of the boil. At the question, she muttered a soft "Its fine, thank you" as she took his hand, pulling herself off the ground while still avoiding his gaze. Dusting herself off, she paused awkwardly, not quite sure what to say.
Time for a change of topic!
"Is that yours?" She gestured at the lion with a tilt of her head, her face still slightly red from the incident.

It was fortunate that Sheridan didn't know what Lizzy was thinking, as if he wasn't already blushing enough of his own. At least on Sheridan's part, his silver blush may have been more difficult to see under all those stars, or so he hoped.
Well um...what was he supposed to say now? Awkward! Distraction, oh merciful wonderful distraction, yes subject change, subject change was good.
"Yes, he is, unfortunately."
Sheridan glared at the hel-lion, who answered by sticking out his tongue in indignation. Hmph! Uh-oh Sheridan, better hide your books from angry little claws!

"Unfortunately?" She echoed, her gaze shifting to the cat just in time to catch it sticking its tongue out; while thought that it was rather rude to, she couldn't help giggling at the sight. However, she was starting to understand why he added 'unfortunately' to that sentence; it must be difficult to live with a pet with such an attitude!
He looked so fluffy and cuddly though.
"Why were you chasing him down the corridor?" Her gaze shifted back to Sheridan as she tried her best not to meet his eyes directly, still rather embarrassed over the incident even if it wasn't anyone's fault.

Do not be fooled by the fluffiness, Lizzy! That cat is evil!
It was a good thing Lizzy was avoiding eye contact as Sheridan's gaze was currently rather torn, one eye fixed squarely on his cat while he looked toward Lizzy from the corner of the other. He was going to go cross eyed if he kept that up, but there was no way he was letting that fuzzy monster out of his sight.
"He decided to run off with my pendant, and I would very much like to get it back before he buries it somewhere."
Or whatever it was the cat of evil had planned for it...
Sheridan had pointed to the crystal orb hanging from the hel-lion's jaws, the silver thread glistening just slightly in the light, the stary orb that was distinctly missing from around his own neck. Stupid cat, give that back!

"Does... He do that often?" She frowned; if one of her minipets ran off with her accessory and buried it somewhere, she would be very upset. Very upset indeed. Luckily, she hadn't encountered such a problem yet, and hopefully, never will.
Her frown deepened as she approached the lion cautiously till she was close enough to touch it. Hesitating, she eventually bent down to try to give it a pat on his head; he can't be that bad, right? Perhaps he was just having a bad day...
Besides, the fluffiness was calling her.

"You have no idea."
There was a hint of resignation in his voice, a hint that suggested this was most likely at least a daily occurrence. One would have to wonder why Sheridan keep the monster around, maybe by now he had grown accustomed to the hel-lion's antics, even come to appreciate them. Or maybe he just didn't know what else to do with him...stupid cat.
"I wouldn't--"
Too late. Lizzy would soon find that Tanaka was not a friendly creature despite how cute and cuddly looking his was (THE CUTE IS A LIE!). As she moved closer, the hel-lion was already bristling, a paw raised to swat at the extended hand. HISS!

"Aw, but- Ah." She withdrew her hand back quickly as she frowned, staring at the lion with a disapproving look; the last time a minipet had tried to injure her, it was out of what she assumed to be fear mixed with anxiousness. This time, it was... Aggression? At least he didn't actually injure her.
"He doesn't like being touched?" Her frown deepened as she straightened up, shifting her attention over to Sheridan once more.

"That's one way to put it, I think he just likes being a grump."
That or he was amazingly good at pretending. Sheridan's arms crossed, the tip of his tail twitching as he shot the cat a look that might have said 'behave or I will turn you into a fuzzy ice cube!', a look that most certainly would have been met glare from Tanaka had his gaze not been firmly fixed on Lizzy. Well at least he hadn't tried to bite her...yet.
"He's like that with everyone."

A grumpy but fluffy lion. Which was the more prominent trait? Turning her attention back on the minipet, she realized that said lion had been staring at her for the whole time while she was talking to Sheridan... That is kind of creepy.
"What's his name?"
She had an urge to go ahead and pat him anyway.

"Tanaka."
But feel free to make up your own name for him. Damn cat, little monster, fuzzball of evil, satan incarnate, whatever works. Sheridan was quite fond of 'evil little fuzzball' himself, if for no other reason than to get some small revenge on the cat by calling him 'little'.
Though right now Sheridan was thinking of the cat as 'stupid thieving monster'. He did -not- appreciate the cat running off with his pendant. He had worn that orb since he was a small child and he was not too keen on losing it to the antics of his evil cat.
The cat had looked up at his name, barely giving the dragon a smirk that said 'nyah!' before his gaze turned back to Lizzy. She had that look, that look that said she was either going to try to pet him again or pick him up, both of which would be met with sharp little claws.
