INTRODUCTION

Officer Jenny here! This is my rule book and it is filled with all the rules for each and every area in this guild it could get long but it also helps inform you about how to do things like catching Pokemon and buying items and even winning the Daily Lottery.

Keep in mind some of these are not rules but more explanations of how things work so keep this topic in mind.

GETTING STARTED
First off please introduce yourself in the Welcome New Trainer’s Topic. This is where you will introduce yourself and make known which starter Pokemon you want. Once you have done so you may get a Trainer card from the Trainer Card Shop. There are also Spriters who are more than willing to make a custom Sprite trainer for you to go on your card.

Once your trainer card has been made you may start your adventure out into the unknown. As a starter you get 6 free Pokeballs. When you run out then what?

Well the money we use around here is called PP or Post Points. Post points are points you get for posting in the guild. You can use them to buy items such as pokeballs or items needed for evolution. You may look at the PokeMart section to get a better idea of how that system works.

MOVEMENT
Because we don’t have a regular game system movement is done by posting you must post at least twice on a Path to move on to the next one. You can however stay on the same path as long as you like. On the paths you can chat with other players battle other players and even discuss random topics as long as its PG.

Warning! There are certain areas you cannot enter until you get a specific HM and there will be a warning posted at the beginning of that path. Anyone who is on that path without the item will get a warning and if they don’t do as they are told after that they will be banned.

As in the original stated rules no Triple Posting. So if I were you I wouldn’t go to far ahead of the other players if you do and you are all alone you can’t come back without someone else posting.

And if someone throws out a wild pokemon that does count as a post even if you don’t catch it.

CATCHING POKEMON
Catching wild Pokemon works like this, one of the wonderful people who work in this guild will post a message like this;

Quote:

A level 13 Wild Female Bidoof appears

Now what! Well if you want to ignore this Bidoof you can just by leaving it be after 4 posts a wild pokemon "disappears" or cannot be captured.

However say you want that Bidoof. First of all you quote the person who posted the Wild Bidoof.

Then you say *Throws a Pokeball at the Wild Bidoof*
(Note: you may say any other type of ball that is in your bag which is seen with your Trainer Card and PC. However do not say you have thrown a ball that you do not own to catch it. If you do you may lose a good deal of your posting points and the pokemon you caught with the ball you didn’t have.

Quote:

A Level 13 Wild Female Bidoof appears

The person who first posted the Wild Pokemon will put it into your PC and will quote you with;

IF THE POKEMON IS NOT CAUGHT!!!

You will get a message like this

You missed the Wild Bidoof ran away.

If a Pokemon runs it can't be caught by another trainer.

EVOLUTION

Evolution and Leveling up are based on posting in this guild.

Each time you post all your Pokemon in your party level up 1 level.

When a Pokemon has leveled up to the point that it is ready to evolve you will get a message from a Crew member asking if you want to let it evolve.

When you respond with a yes it will evolve and be replaced in your trainer card and PC with the new evolution.

If you fight a Forum Battle in the guild and win you also will get an extra level added to all of your party Pokemon.

BREEDING EGGS

Yes we do allow you to do that here however we will have the same rules as the Pokemon games when it comes to what can breed with what Lists of the groups of pokemon who can breed will be up in the Daycare Section please adhere to them.

Also the Daycare costs 1 Post Point per day that your Pokemon stays in the daycare. However they do gain 1 level a day while in the Daycare.

You may also chat in that forum about breeding a Pokemon for someone if they are interested and set up shops for that.

Do not use gaia cash or gold for these trades please. These sprites are all owned by Nintendo and Game Freak so selling them is not a good idea...

However you may trade them for items, or Pokemon in this game or art or anything else just no gaia cash or gold trades.

BATTLING

Officer Jenny here! Let me lay down some ground rules on how battling and catching Pokemon works. Also you need to know the rules about moving from one area to the next.

Battling!
Battling can take place one of two ways if you want to battle an opponent then you have to both agree whether to do a Wifi Battle or a Forum Battle.

HOW TO ENTER A BATTLE
Merely state the username of the person and say "I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle." If the person declines then you have to wait and find someone else to fight.

TYPES OF BATTLE

WIFI BATTLE
Wifi Battles may take place please make sure that you are using a similar version of the game to do so. Also make sure that you and the person you are battling have a similar level of pokemon. Don't challenge someone if their Pokemon are levels 20-30 if you have 100's that's just unfair and quite mean. Level the playing field and win fairly.

FORUM BATTLE
(Achievements are for winning these battles only)

Forum Battles go like this Each person starts with 3 HP doesn't matter what level your pokemon is on the forum. you both roll a 6 sided dice. The person to roll the highest number takes down the person with the lower numbers HP by 1 each time a dice is rolled.

Higher Number= No damage
Lower Number= Lose 1 HP

EXAMPLE BATTLE

Quote:

HOPE: Faith I challenge you to a Pokemon Forum Battle.

Quote:

FAITH: OK!

Quote:

HOPE: (uses roll dice function and gets a 3)

Quote:

FAITH: (uses roll dice function and gets a 5)

HOPE loses 1 HP for getting the lower number.

IF YOU LOSE 3 Battles in a Row you must go to a Pokemon Center. You can also visit a Pokemon Center when ever you wish.

BATTLING

Battling can take place one of two ways if you want to battle a Gym leader you can use either of the two forms of battling mentioned in the Battle topic.

HOW TO ENTER A BATTLE WITH A GYM LEADER
A Gym Leader will seek you out once you have obtained a certain number of achievements and when you are in their town. You may tell the Gym Leader which battle form you would like to use.

TYPES OF BATTLE

WIFI GYM BATTLE
Wifi Battles may take place please make sure that you are using a similar version of the game to do so. Also make sure that you and the person you are battling have a similar level of pokemon. Each Gym Leader will chose a preferred type of pokemon for their Gym and will tell you what it is before the battle occurs. Remember level the playing field and win fairly.

FORUM GYM BATTLES
Forum Battles go like this Each person starts with 6 HP doesn't matter what level your pokemon is on in the forum. You both roll a 6 sided dice. The person to roll the highest number takes down the person with the lower numbers HP by 1 each time a dice is rolled.

Lower Number= Lose 1 HP
Same Number= Both Lose 1 HP

When you win within 48 hours the badge will be added to your trainer card.
If you lose then you may battle the Gym Leader again at any time when you are both available.

GAMBLING CORNER

The Gambling Corner is a dice based area where you roll to win prizes such as special stones, mystery eggs, rare pokemon, and possibly even Master Balls!

Merely follow the rules given in that area of the guild they shouldn't be too hard.

However the Triple post rule applies there too so be careful not to get too excited.

DAILY LOTTERY

The Daily Lottery is a lot like the gambling corner only it's a random number game where you can only post once a day. However the prizes will be really great if you happen to get that lucky random number that is. The prizes will be stated in that part of the guild.

Merely follow the rules given in that area of the guild they shouldn't be too hard.

POKEMART

The place where you buy everything you need for your journey.

However you will notice that some items specify certain Achievements be met before you can purchase them.

Just follow those and make sure you don't spend all your PP at once you might want to save it up for something special.

POKEMON CENTER
This is the place you come to heal your pokemon however this is also where you trade pokemon.

You may trade Pokemon with anyone by filling this out each of you must post it so we will know that you both accept the trade. If you are trading multiple pokemon that is fine just list them.

Also Listed is an item that a pokemon may hold in trade this is for those pokemon that need an item to evolve and need traded. If you have no item you wish to put on the Pokemon please leave it blank.
