She did not remember a lot of the previous day. She remembered Moving in somewhere... Someone with white hair... and chinese food. Fried rice to be exact.
Sabine was exhausted from the past few days, it was a lot to take in and remember. She basically needed to remember how to live every day life. Trial and error, testing tasting... it was over loading her brain circuits. Not to mention the act of overloading and changing her in the first place left her exhausted. Her star seed still burned deep in her chest, once colorful and light... it was now stained black.
Mumbling, she moved around in the bed she now slept on. She had a crick in her side, something was poking her from within the bed. Probably a bed spring.
That was not what woke the sleeping girl though, it was the weird sound of something.... in the walls? Eyes narrowing, a pang of fear jolted her awake as the shower turned off. Shower... just the shower. She had no clue Ever had left in the first place, she assumed he stayed there and just..... showered at weird times. Maybe it was normal. Was Ever normal?

Ever was most certainly not normal -- but that didn't mean he frequently came back late at night and took shockingly cold showers. That was a special circumstance.
Usually he got laid, instead.
Well. It was good, anyway, and there was time yet, and Ever could survive a bit more celibacy, so long as he had unfettered bathroom access. Sabine had five minutes to wonder at the schedule before he came out, a towel wrapped around his waist and another working carefully through his hair. For the moment, he had entirely forgotten she was there, and when he looked up to see her awake, it made him just about jump out of his skin.
"...augh!" A strangled sound, left shaky, blinking at her in surprise and memories sinking back in. "...uh. Auuuugh?"

"EEEEEEEEEK" She screeched in return. More from the fact he screamed at her first and scared her, but also because he was barely wearing -anything- Flailing around, she fell off the end of the bed with a rather undignified THUD on the other side.

"Augh." This time it was amused and apologetic, Ever flicking a look back toward the bathroom. He, at least, wasn't embarrassed about the lack of clothing. The towel wrapped easily around his waist -- not like she could see anything. He made a noise, easing forward a step with the other loose around his shoulders, the hammering of his heart slowing down, to make sure she was alright.
"...did you hurt yourself?" Which was different from asking 'are you okay', though the intent was probably the same...

"Oooowwwwwww..." She said sitting on her rump now, rubbing at her side with one eye closed also biting the corner of her mouth. "...I mean, i'm fine!!! You just startled me is all!" She said looking up, face red. "....You realize your standing in just a towel." More embarrassed that worried of him being a streaker or anything.
Shrugging she stood up, wobbled for a second before catching her footing again, glancing at the clock. Head tilting she peered at him curiously. "....Do you always shower so late?"

"...uh." Ever looked down at his towel, considering the amount of coverage -- waist to knees, almost, it really just bared legs and chest, his stomach, the lightning bolt dangling on a ratty black cable around his neck. Really, it gave more coverage than boxers would have, and he genuinely hadn't thought anything of it until she said something. And, now that she had, decided he still didn't really care.
Shrugging, he blinked up at her, and fished for a truthful-but-giving-nothing-away sort of answer. "Usually I shower when I have access to a shower. Having one at my fingertips, available any time, is a luxury. Did I wake you up?"

"...The wall makes funny noises when the shower in on." The way she worded it, it was almost like it was a confession. More or less it was just her being embarrassed of being scared of the noises the shower made. Brushing herself off, she looked down at her own outfit for a moment. Zac had brought over a bag filled with a few clothing items... long Tshirts and jeans she had to roll up if she wanted to be able to see her feet. It was all she really had to wear, but at least it was comfy.
"... Just keep that on and we are safe." Gay or not, she would rather not be having an anatomy lesson.
"So how are you? I mean... thank you for letting me stay here." Sabine tacked on at the end, never really thanking him. He had given up his bed to her too... Speaking of such, she settled down on the edge of said bed. Twisting around she sat with her legs crossed indian style.

"Totally, totally worth it." That wasn't the best answer to 'thank you for letting me stay here' maybe, but at the very least it was a completely truthful one. At the moment, Ever was feeling rather good about his place in the world, and his options for the future, not even worrying about work or Senshi or the potential shitstorm that Lyra could bring down on his life.
He just offered her a flash of a grin and eased over to crouch next to his bag, hair starting to curl as it dried, and fishing around for a rather battered pair of pajama pants that had, once upon a time, belonged to someone much bigger around the middle than him. "Don't worry about it."

Worth it? All she had done here was... eat sleep and meander around the house. Had she done something without realizing it? Looking towards his back, if he would bother to look around, she would be giving one of total confusion.
"But i didnt do anything? Why would me being here be worth it... you even forgot i was here." The scream had been evidence enough of that.

He straightened and tugged his pants on under the towel, shaking out his hair -- and blinked up at her at the question. Had he said that out loud? Well, hardly mattered at this point, and he wanted to shrug it away except he was grinning like an idiot again because things were just going so damned well...
"Um. Yeah. Mind was elsewhere..." Deflection. He dug for deflection, raising an eyebrow at the fit of her pants.
"You look...uh." Telling her how silly it looked seemed out of place. And he'd already used that one tonight, a thought that made his smile spread again. "...I think you need new clothes."

"..... really?" She looked at herself, holding her arms up examining her outfit more. Looking "...I dont know Zac and i are similar in size.... and your pants are more oversized on you than my outfit is on me."
"So you look kinda silly, at the moment." Clown pants, was a term to use for them. But she bit her tongue.
"Better than the towel though." Not AS awkward.

Ever blinked at her as he tugged the strings tight on his pants, like he couldn't quite believe he said that, and then shot a look down to his pants. Pale, faded, white with a faint blue stripe through them, they looked like a very well-loved garment.
"...they were a gift." Kind of. If by 'gift' you meant 'took them out of someone's drawer before leaving', yes. They were comfortable, certainly. He shook his head and went fishing for a battered t-shirt, if she was going to be that offended by bare chest.
"And I don't wear them out of the house, anyway." A beat, a pause, and he found his grin again. "Anyway, I'm gay, I'm pretty sure I get to be right on this, no?"

"Not all gay people have fashion sense." She said with a smile, really unsure of where that came from almost as if she knew from experience.
"Besides, at least i can say you take care of your things... gifts and stuff. Is all you own really in that bag?" She eyed it for a moment, a curious gaze at the object. "Why not take stuff out of it? You live here... might as well?" The exposed chest did not really bother her, but she wasn't about to object if he wanted to wear a top.
Shifting a little on the bed, she yawned once using her hand to cover her mouth while she did so.

Sabine had an excellent point, there. One that made Ever think of Zac in his oversized robe again, made him grin hopelessly, hidden behind his shirt as he tugged it down into place and then appearing again through the neck whole. He couldn't quite wash it away, right now. All but wearing his heart on his sleeve.
"Um. It's more organized this way." He blinked up at her, still wearing that s**t-eating grin, and smoothed wet hair back out of his face. "I need a cigarette. You mind? I can, uh, perch by the window..."

"You seem happy! Did you actually find a pot of gold in your lucky charms box?" She smiled broadly back at his own grin before she shook her head and flicked her hand dismissing the question, not really minding at all. "I don't really care either way?" Blinking, she thought for a moment, remembering her opinion on the matter as he spoke the words. "...Yeah... yeah i remember. I don't really care either way, never will pick up the habit but don't care if others smoke around me."
A pause, lifting of the eyebrow. "As long as you don't deliberately blow smoke in my face, that is."
