Kenjutsu
Kenjutsu (剣術; Literally meaning "Sword Technique") pertains to techniques that entail the use of swords, whether the users be shinobi or samurai. Kenjutsu can be used in combination with taijutsu, ninjutsu and/or chakra flow in order to achieve more devastating techniques. The entire military might of the lone samurai nation of the Land of Iron, have so-far all been depicted as practitioners of kenjutsu. Among the shinobi nations, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist are particularly well known as kenjutsu practitioners. Also, a majority of Kumogakure shinobi are swordsmen.

The user strikes their opponent diagonally from left to right, then again from right to left, creating an X across the opponent's chest.
Hardened Steel
Drawing a small amount of chakra into one’s blade, the metal used to make the blade hardens to match the quality of the day it was perfect, causing one’s slash to be a lot sharper and more effective.
Cloud-Style Front Beheading
The user slashes forward to attack an enemy.
Watercutting Sword
Requirements: Water element, Takigakure origin
A secret jutsu of Takigakure that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like a normal blade. This sword can also go through most fire jutsu.

Iai Beheading
The user makes a downward slash, thus cutting the opponent.
Fury Swallow
The user punches the opponent a few times and finishes the combo with two final slashes.
Drilling Crimson Blade
The user takes out their blade and channels their chakra into it, then runs toward the opponent, slashing them upwards into the air. Appearing above the target, the user delivers a sharp, drilling slash down upon them, impelling the opponent to the ground.

B-rank Cloud-Style Crescent Moon Beheading
Requirements: Cloud Origin
The user utilizes a large extent of their physical capabilities to swing their sword in a single large arc, which occurs with such ferocious velocity that the technique can be employed in situations where only a very limited time to react is available. The swing can be used to counter attacks from multiple opponents simultaneously. The technique receives its name due to the entire movement being reminiscent of a crescent moon.
Cloud-Style Flame Beheading
Requirements: Fire Release, Cloud Origin
The user first imbues their blade with fire, before slashing in the direction of the desired enemy, resulting in the creation of large arcs of intense flame that follow the trajectory of the previous swing. A skilled user of this technique, such as Atsui, is capable of surrounding their immediate area with a circular wall of flames, incinerating multiple targets even if they approach from numerous angles simultaneously.
Leaf-Style Willow
The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu, causing them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.
Lightning Ball
Requirements: Lightning Release, twin swords
By gathering chakra between twin swords, the user can create a ball of electrical energy and launch it at the enemy.
Lightning Burial: Banquet of lightning
Requirements: Lightning Release, twin swords
Using twin swords, the user can create several thunderbolts that cut through the ground until they hit the enemy.

Requirements: Chakra Blades
The user channels enormous amounts of chakra into their Chakra Blades and repeatedly strikes the opponent. With the finishing blow, the user makes a great big slash. Then, after the opponent falls, out of nowhere another blinding slash comes, severely damaging the enemy.
Dance of the Crescent Moon
Requirements: Shadow Clones
The user creates three shadow clones, and each one of them assaults the enemy from a blind spot. The attack occurs on three fronts simultaneously, so it's almost impossible to catch them flat-footed. Furthermore, the mighty attacks are so severe that receiving a blow even from one among the three will inevitably result in a fatal wound. In addition, because of the magnificence this ninjutsu projects as they jump at the opponent's upper body in an orbital pattern, the elegance of which is reminiscent of the shape of a crescent moon.
Raging Thunder
Requirements: Gelel energy
By focusing much gelel energy on his sword and giving a blow with it, the user can create a powerful Gelel barrier before him.
Water Release: Great Whirlpool Enfolding
Requirements: Water Release
The user uses a nearby water supply to create a giant water vortex around his sword. They then wields the vortex as a weapon. He they jump above his opponent and uses his sword to smash the vortex into his targets causing massive damage.

S-rank Flat Lands
Focusing a gigantic storage of chakra into both one’s blade and themselves, the user would prepare with their blade facing horizontally, then with a heaving swing a massive crescent shaped manifestation of their kenjutsu chakra is sent flying out towards the opponents and possibly allies if they stray too close. The technique often flattens the land in front of them from the sheer power, giving it its name.
