Well hello, first off I would like to thank you for taking the time to actually read this.

Well, now on to the real reason you are here. For the last few weeks I have been having weird and sometimes even scary dreams. Alot of these dreams involve the people who are close to me either dieing or dissapearing completely. Most of the time because of me. One of the recent dreams I have had is that my family stayed home to fix a surprise b-day party for me. While they are doing this they fall asleep and the house catches on fire and they all die in the fire and I am left feeling cold and alone. The other dream that i had ((the one i got me thinking about making this thread)) is that I am sitting in band class when we get a code 300 ((intruder alert)) and we all go to hide while we are hidding a guy I like leans over and kises me and I close my eyes. When I open my eyes he is no longer there he and everyone around me had disappeared and again I am left feeling cold and alone.

So I am sure that you are wondering why I am sitting here wasting your time. Well the question I am asking is do you think these dreams mean anything at all and if so what? Also why I am always standing alone feeling empty in all of my dreams?

Thank you again

It really depends on how deeply your read into dreams. It could be your subconscious expressing insecurity and fear of abandonment. Has anyone every left you before, or have you felt like your parents have abandoned you in any way? It could also mean you shouldn't eat anything before bed or even just hormones.. Have you ever had dreams with a common theme before?

I am a strong believer that dreams don't actually mean anything. I believe that they are simply a reflection of thoughts you have during the day that are getting reprocessed. I'm sure you worry about these kind of things during the day too. Who doesn't? We all occasionally think about what we would do if... So that probably sparked the first dream and then since you have being thinking about it so much you have had the other ones. In my opinion it really doesn't mean anything and if you try to stop thinking about them they will likely go away.

I don't think the actual dreams mean anything but if you have any anxiety at the moment or something like that then that's why you could be getting the disturbed dreams.

well I havent quiet gotten around to reading S. Fruads book on dream intreprations yet (it's on my to-do list sweatdrop ) but:

the dreams have commonalities so those are likely the parts with meaning:

1. killing:
a. A fear of death: are you, or have you done somthing that is in anyway dangrus?
b. parinoia: parinoa is commenly coupled with many things like stress, or lonleyness, are you feeling any of that while your awake?

2. being left alone:
a. are you or some-one leaving say for college or somthing? (if its somone really close they may not even be going away that long)
b. past adbandoment:has someone in the past left you feeling abondoned?

3.coldness:
anything in a dream felt physically is often a result of outside interferance, perhaps your just getting cold

You fear rejection.

As soon as the dream gets to the nice and gooey parts, (people getting closer to you and feeling how much they may love you)
They, as you say, disappear or die.
You fear rejection from those you love, or because you're afraid you'll ******** them over somehow.

They say that in dreams the one(s) that die are the people you care about most. Your house burning also represents strong emotions, mostly anger.

Dreams sometimes reflect your subconscious. That's not always true, but there's a good chance that suppressed thoughts are being freed by dreams.

Take me for example. I've been having dreams about being in Hong Kong and stuff. And it's true that I really do want to go back and live there. smile

What you're dreams denote to me is that you either see your family going through some emotional problems. or that your family is doing well and you are afraid you aren't a part of it. also it seems that you feel as if you are having trouble fiting in at school. maybe you have met someone new who is complicating your group of friends or maybe there is just new drama in particular that you don't feel comfortable being involved in.
i hope it helps.
to feel cold and alone means that you fear some one close to you isn't telling you something, or an enemy is near and you see no way of escaping them.
