Alex is a tomboyish Ponyta who is always eager to fight or compete with others. While she doesn't completely ignore 'girly' things, she has no interest in them because she views femininity as weakness. Alex often uses force when finesse would be more effective and refuses to admit her own faults; she is very stubborn and hard to work with if you don't do what she says. Like most Ponyta, her legs are strong and she is a fast runner, although she would never consider running away from a fight. While she does respect authority to a degree, this means she follows their orders. To her, everyone is to be spoken to in a casual way.
Bio:
Alex grew up on a communal farm with her parents and four older brothers. From the start she was included with her brothers in pulling plows, carts, and almost everything else. They always treated her just like one of the guys, and she had very little contact with other females her age. When she was around 17, her last brother moved away to the city and her parents decided that they needed to bring more Pokemon into the farm. The newcomers didn't respect her wishes to be treated like a boy and teased her with names like 'Miss Alexandra'. Alex's parents didn't think it was a problem and so Alex decided to take matters into her own hooves and leave. Unfortunately, her brothers couldn't take her in, so she went to the Guild instead and joined.

Ever-curious, Jay always wants to learn more about the world. Reading is out of the question, so everything he knows was either told to him or sensory information. Because he can't see, he uses his mouth a lot more than most Pokemon, and he has been known to accidentally bite others. However, he never means harm - it's just how he reacts to new situations. Jay is generally a very friendly Pokemon who enjoys helping others, although with his lack of skills, there's not usually anything for him to do. More than anything, he loves to eat new and unusual types of food.
Bio:
Like Alexandra, Jay's family was part of the farm. His parents' job was guarding the land from intruders, and as there were always freeloaders trying to take what they had worked for, they were constantly busy. Jay was an only child and met Alex when he was ten and she was thirteen. One of her brothers was sick and so he was assigned to help pull carts. Unfortunately, he was much slower than the others, and Alex had to help him. From that day on, they were friends, although it was less of a mutual friendship and more of a 'Jay follows Alex around' relationship. So when she left to join the guild, it was only natural for him to follow.

Nosy, Mesmer loves to be in others' business and learn all about their lives. He uses his Illusion ability to great effect, often blending in with the surroundings and eavesdropping on conversations. From this, the Zorua knows many things that he probably shouldn't. He also loves the danger and thrill of almost getting caught - however, Mesmer has no real interest in fighting and prefers to let others do his dirty work, occasionally attacking an enemy from a protected vantage point. He also has a bit of a love for the shiny, glittery or gleaming and has been known to hoard gems and treasures that he has found.
Bio:
Before joining the guild, Dylan was a trusted member of a gang in a nearby large city. His job was to gather information on opposing gangs; i.e., he was a spy. However, unlike most spies who were eventually caught, Dylan's ability allowed him to do his job with impunity. Over the years he gained the nickname "Mesmer", though it had less to do with any skill of his and more to do with the fact that he thought it sounded cool. Unfortunately, he was almost killed when a rival gang had a surprise attack in the night. His gang's headquarters was stormed and he was only saved due to his transformation into one of the attacking members. Once out, he quickly fled - the other gangs knew who he was and Mesmer couldn't stay there. He stayed at a farm for a few days, helping out by doing mundane tasks, but left as soon as he could. It was very boring. Fate eventually led him to the Guild, where he saw two Pokemon he vaguely recognized. Mesmer's proposal to join their team was quickly accepted.
