Background Information

. razz ersonality : Ada can sometimes be seen as the classic tomboy. She loves to rough house, compete, explore, and stay active. She has a sharp tongue and a rather bad temper, so some people might get the wrong impression when first meeting her. However, despite her teasing and arrogant remarks, she really cares strongly about others, even if she has a funny way of showing it. She's also rather brave, depending on the situation.

.: History : Adanna's great grandmother was a lionness in a pride called the Dawn Walkers that lived by the sea. Her family within the pride was known for having only one female per generation and these females had the special ability to bond to eagles. It had always been a tradition that the female remain unmated and bond with the eagle for the rest of her days. While this was not enforced with violence or anything of the kind, peer pressure and family expectations did not support any female mating.

Sadly, her great grandmother had a love within the pride and she couldn't bare to remain without him. So, fearful that her family might reject her, though this was unlikely, she and her mate ran away out into the desert. There they started a family and took in wandering rogues for a make-shift pride.

However, the desert was a hard place to live and the pride slowly shrank over the next two generations. Adanna's mother and father were the last of the pride living in the desert. Their first litter was of four boys, who all did rather well. However, the second litter killed their mother and Adanna was the only cub to survive the birthing.

So Adanna was raised surrounded by boys and grew ignorant of many things due to the short range of interation she had. One day, however, she awoke to find her brothers and father gone and there were no tracks to tell her where to search.

During her search to find them she met a young lion named Nukta. He too was alone and for some reason the two decided to stick together. They traveled for a long time, growing rather attatched to one another(even if it seemed like all they did was bicker and tease each other). Both worked to console each other's fears. Ada helped Nukta deal with his past, and Nukta helped Ada handle the find of her mother's necklace and the fact that she would never see her family again.

----.:Nukta : This is perhaps the deeps and most complex relationship Ada has with anyone. They went from friend, to adopted siblings, to best friends, to mates. They like to tease each other, compete, and always stick together. They both seem to strongly understand each others faults and accept each other for who they are, making the bond even stronger.

----.:Ta'ziyan : A cub Ada met before he met up with Nukta. He seemed a little edgy, but they had a bit of fun together all the same. They promised they'd met again someday after both of them were done searching.

----. biggrin enge : A strange female Ada met when she was a cub. She seemed crazy, talking of zombies and stuff. Ada didn't really understand her and was a little wierded out.

----.:Aleu : The encounter with this female was not a good one. Ada lost her temper and broke down into tears from the harsh words of the other femme. It is unlikely the female is a bad person, but Ada doesn't like her from experience.

----.:Bakari : A strange cub Nukta and Ada met one day who called Ada his mother. She was rather freaked out by the little one, edging away from his hungry advances on her stomache and his accidental acts of tackling her.

----.:Akamu'Hakan : A firekin male who Ada bumped into. He found her mouth and temper amusing and pushed her really hard in chasing him. He also was hard on her with his words, pretty much telling her she was strong but she needed to suck it up and stop blubbering about her family. Ada found him to be terribly mean and confusing, not knowing he might have good intentions in mind.

---.:Bakhti : A female in the pridelands Ada met one day. She was extremely friendly and, surprisingly, a ton of fun! She's a mother and gives Ada a small sense of curiousity as in what a mother is supposed to be like. She's not sure Bakhti has helped her find out but...she's a great friend.

---.: Sarabi : The queen of the pridelands, Ada has only met her briefly. However, in those few moments she felt a great deal of respect toward the older female and the noble nature she seemed to have.

---.: Ezeoha : A funny, flirtacious cub from the pridelands. x3 He hit on Ada strongly despite his size, but Ada was rather clueless. She found him to be a little odd, but didn't dislike him particularly.

Background Information

. razz ersonality : Nkechi is an absolute sweet-heart. She loved others greatly, even if she doesn't understand them. She likes pretty things, like flowers and butterflies as well. However, she is easily scared and distrought and can easily be called and scaredy cat.

.:History : Nkechi was born in the graveyard with her brothers and sisters. However, she never liked the bones or the shadows of the place and always feared it. Her attatchment to her father and brother along with her great sense of fear caused her to reamin, even if she dreams of leaving some day and seeing other places.

----.:Hidalgo : Nkechi's father is someone she adores greatly and can seem to relate to. He doesn't like the graveyard as much as the others either and somehow that makes her feel more comfortable with him and less like a freak of naure.

Background Information

. razz ersonality : Mteuli is the exact opposite of his brother. He is extremely relaxed and tends to slack off on his work because of it. He is also extremely social and has a smooth tongue and rather good sense of empathy for others. He can sometimes be too much of a flirt, but seems to know when the situation is right for such games. He would never, however, take advantage of a woman, respecting all those he meets.

The Ushirkino Watembezaji has survived deep within the depths of the jungle for thirteen generations, spanning over an unknown number of years. The Wataawa (Priests and storytellers) tell the tale of the humble beginnings of their clan.

In lands far from the humidity of the tropical forest, tucked within the confines of a long since revived crater a lioness gave birth within the safety of her den to a set of twins: One male, and the other, female. The little female's colors were soothing dark blue hues, and she bore white markings that seemed to resemble the swirling, surging clouds that painted the skies above. Her brother was of more humble coloration, having a pelt of deep brown with touches of sand around his eyes and streaking through his hair and tail tuft. His markings were sharp, ridgid, and upjutting like the mountains to the South, which seemed to touch the very sky itself and dance among the clouds.

Their parents were loving, but thought nothing overly special of the markings or the fact that these twins were mirror opposites of one another in everything they did. As time went on, the twins grew, and eventually they came into adulthood. Their parents passed on but the twins remained by one another's side, feeling an unspoken bond that was stronger with loyalty than most others. Despite their differences, they very rarely, if ever, fought.

One night, the sister heard a voice, strong and gentle, speaking to her in the form of dreams. It spoke of her "children" as though she (for the voice was female) had been a mother for ages upon ages. In that dream the dark colored female saw the wonders of the heavens, as though through the eyes of the stars. She learned many things about the skies, such as how to understand the words spoken in whispers through the breeze, or the warnings shouted through the howls of the storms.

The following night it was her brother that had a similar dream. In that dream he also met the winged lioness, and learned many great secrets of the Earth, and had a glimpse of the land from the highest peak of the mountain tops.

After sharing their visions with one another, they knew that they had been chosen to deliver a message. Taking a few along and leaving behind their birth-pride they began to seek out others, and soon formed a small pride of lions that felt a similar, if not less dynamic, calling. That is how the Unity Walkers were formed. Following the goddess' guidance they selected a king and queen to rule the pride, and took shelter in the ferns and lush grasses of the humid jungle. There they lived in undisturbed unity for many, many years.

The twins that brought their family together went by the names of Enzi and Bucho, and they became the very first Wataawa (Priests). As such they are well known through Ushirkino Watembezaji history. Their story is passed down from generation to generation through the Elders, Wataawa, and storytellers.

Things went well for many years before trouble began to brew. A whisper began to spread that the Mbingu members considered themselves to be above their Ardhi brothers and sisters. Supposedly the Mbingu were closer to the goddess and therefore were held in higher favor than the "lower" ones. Of course, that didn't sit too well with the Ardhi, and soon squabbles began to break out. Before too much longer they began taking sides and a divide began within the pride. The goddess became very displeased, and left them for some time. During the divide, one of the Pride's Seers died, and they saw no sign of more twins being born. The pride began to break apart and some generations passed before finally the goddess cooled down. As a sign of forgiveness the pride was once more blessed with twins after four generations, and they were taught the ways of the pride, and once of age sent out to find what remained of their disbanded members.

----.:Mteule : Mteule is Mteuli's twin brother. They are complete opposites, so often there are disagreements between them. It seems Mteule is constantly tired of Mteuli's actions and Mteuli is constantly disappointing him. Mteuli feels he can never make his brother happy, so he doesn't try extremely hard to, but he is never purposely trying to harm or sadden his brother, for he still loves him dearly.

----. biggrin enge : A young lionness Mteuli met out in the grasslands. Poor girl wasn't the brightest in the bunch, but he found her to be really sweet. He only regrets he wasn't able to converse with her more due to the attention another lionness was giving him.

----.:Aysha : Another young lionness Mteuli met when traveling outside the pride lands. He found her to be rather good company, for she was quite a dear, but she tended to call herself fat when he tended to disagree.

----.:Kikawaida : A lionness Mteuli met out in the swamps who lived all alone. She was very friendly, despite the fact that she wasn't sure how to act around other lions. Mteuli invited to show her the world outside the swamps and she agreed. He found her to be a very sweet girl, one that shouldn't be tucked away in the corner of the world.
