I have finally gotten into a drawing class at the collage, and the first homework assignment was to draw a self portrait (first picture) and after liking the result I decided to draw a picture of me when I was younger for some practice.
Does anyone have some ideas to improve what I have done so far?

((these are the first realistic style stuff that I have tried since... elementary school? Sor I am still a begginner XD ))

Not bad for being a beginer though!
Remember eyelids though, right now the eyes look really (Cant think of a better word but..) about to pop out of your head. Just a bit of the top eyelid should be visible.
Hope I helped a bit sweatdrop

yeah, I think I drew them in, but didn't shade them very well. I'll take that into consideration with the next one.

You've put a lot of effort into those pictures and they look quite realistic.
If you want to improve I suggest you draw yourself quickly with a sharp hb pencil nothing too detailed do a few and pick the one you like best then add all the details, the more quick sketches you make the better the sketeches will look as you see more detail. If you are doing your portrait from a mirror keep looking at yourself then sketching you should see more ^_^

I don't do that many sketches anymore so it would help so get some more practice in. Thanks.
