 AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORMName: Daniella Dean Fitzgerald. Yeah, being a demon isn't the only reason she hides her full name.
Nicknames: Danny is her preferred name, otherwise names gained through RP
Gender: female
Age: looks about 16
Faction/Race Demon - Flame Demon
Personality: Party hard party hard party hard. Danny lives for having fun and taking things to the limit. She's a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and hates having to sit still anywhere for too long. Sometimes she takes it too far though, and can often be seen with bandaids on her knees and elbows. Danny's constantly out to search for something that's fun to do, so class is really hard for her as well. Having to sit and listen to a teacher? It's far too boring.
In general though, Danny is a happy person. She has her bad days and gets grumpy and what not, but overall she tries to look on the bright side of things. While she's very tomboyish in attitude, she does have some girly sides. She loves painting her nails and doing other peoples' hairs (she gets frustrated with her own and just ends up tying it up). When it comes to romance she's very shy and blushtastic.
Danny will play a prank on you, your family, your dog and your dog's fleas. She considers playing pranks an art, and getting a rise out of people is a masterpiece. She won't go as far as to dump water on you on your prom night, or get you superbly injured via falling piano. Danny mainly sticks to the old "stick a mimic in their closet and laugh when it comes out" sort of pranks. If she's really bugging you, and you tell her to stop, she will. She's not cruel, just likes having "fun." Combined with her dumb nature (see below) her pranks aren't all that elaborate or creative either.
Regardless of her happy side though, Danny is dense. She's thicker than a log made of steel. She gets pretty bad grades, but her parents have hired tutors and the like to at least get her to pass. It's part of why she's so bad with the whole social hierarchy thing- she doesn't see a fearleader who's popular, she sees someone who smiles and laughs a lot, with really really pretty hair! Her language is minuscule at best, and a lot of what comes out of her mouth will make you say "did she really just say that?"
Unfortunately, Danny really has no concept of repair costs or emotional damage that's caused when she destroys things with her fire. Since her parents are both fire demons, they're convinced she's just "going through that teen phase," or just brush it off with a "oh isn't that just silly?" sort of comment. This isn't to say she's going to walk in a room and just start destroying things. It's just that when it comes to battles and mischief, repairs and what not aren't really high on her list of priorities. If she destroys something, her parent's simply pay for repairs, or she works to repair it herself. She has no real concept of consequences or the future.
Which comes to battles. When Danny gets into a fight, it's one of the only times you will ever find her being serious. She loses her "haha that's so funny!" attitude and it just turns into an "I will end you" sort of thing. She takes fighting very seriously, and does a lot of training excercises (running, pushups, etc.) in the morning so that she's fit and prepared. She knows some limited martial arts (nothing behind a few fancy chops and kicks), which she utilizes well in battle. Danny is actually somewhat tactical and creative when it comes to battle, and it could be the one thing considered a "skill" in the ways of scariness.
Danny's biggest weakness is water. Anything about it totally freaks her out, and she refuses to even go beside a lake. It's reasonable though, considering she's a flame demon. She also has a flame on the end of her tail that works sort of like charmander from pokemon; if it goes out (via being rained upon, or sprayed or something), she goes into a deep coma-like sleep until it's relit via resting. It also tends to reflect her mood, burning bright when she's happier and dimmer when she's sick, sad, etc.
Danny's hobbies are about as simple as her attitude. She likes running and exercising simply due to the fact that she can't sit still well. She also like boxing and martial arts, but honestly hasn't pursued them as much as she wants to. She also plays faceball with the other demon kids, and enjoys it quite a bit. She's looking to join the Amityville team. She's pretty average at all sports, but being average doesn't mean you're the worst!
Outside of athletics, she also really enjoys collecting shiny coins. Or dull coins. Or small objects that are shiny and look like coins. She's a bit of a hoarder, she has a drawer just filled with objects she finds interesting (note that you might not necessarily find them interesting. Danny says she thinks there's a neat eyeball in there somewhere). She won't necessarily go searching for these objects, but if she sees one, it becomes her goal to pick it up.
She also plays a little guitar. She's been playing since she was little, so she's not too shabby. She's no Jimmy Hendrix, but can play more than mary had a little lamb. Her guitar is orange and black striped, with little skull stickers all over it. Danny can often be seen in her room playing it, or picking out a simple tune. Danny doesn't notice it, but it sometimes moves around her room; she'll set it next to her desk, and it ends up on her bed....
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Why does anyone go to Amityville? Danny just wants to earn her passport like everyone else. Her parents want to send her to the best of school, and their demon status doesn't exactly hurt. She's excited to go to school and make new friends, try new things, etc, but most of all she just wants to learn to be scarier.
((ooc note: somewhere, deep down, she subconsciously wants to prove to herself and others that she can achieve things, and isn't just "the little sister of Oersted. Of course, when she first enters the academy, I don't think even she will realize this.))
FEAR:
Natural Ability: copied straight from the guide:
guide • Emit Heat: Whew is it getting super hot in here? Fire demons can not only emit heat but also light, creating small fireballs in their hands without even the need to evoke their Fear.
FEAR: Limbs on fiyahhh. Danny can channel her fear into both her hands and feet and basically light them on fire. She combines this with close combat for spicy results.It should be said that she can't push the flame off of her hands. It also only lasts a minute or so before going out; and then she's back down to just good old melee.
Second year she will have the ability to push it off her hand about a foot or so, no more than that. Combined with her melee it's sort of like firebending from Avatar, but a lot less powerful. Times limits still apply.
Third year Danny will be able to emit blue flames; a more powerful flame (blue flames emit more energy than orange/yellow). She can still only shoot it out about a foot, maybe two if she's pushing it, and time limits still apply.
For ALL years, her flames can be put out with water easily. Bucket of water = flame power gone. It should also be noted that she can't light both feet and both hands on fire all at once. At most it'll be both hands or both feet in the second year. During her third year, she will probably be able to light 3-4 if she's like near death or in an extreme pinch.
(tell me if that's too OP, I'm unsure whether or not it is)

Hair Colour/Style: Styled like the far left, with a single long, thin ponytail in the back. Orangeish red in color <3
Skin Colour: an arabian-esque tan
Clothing Style/Colours: I'm not super good at describing things, so artistic freedom with references? Overall though, she should be relatively skimpy (not like lingerie skimpy), with nothing too thick or furry, since she's a flame demon. I would love it if she could have these armbands/bracers

Extra: Her wings and horns are artist's choice. Preferable for her to have wings on the smaller side. Her tail is also artist's choice, but needs to incorporate some sort of flame on the end (think charmander from pokemon xD).Play with it and have fun!

Teensy Background: Danny's family is considered "old money," basically they inherited everything from Danny's great great great etc. Grandma (or something like that. Danny doesn't know her family history!). They live in a grand old country-style home (wraparound porch, big open windows and rooms), with fancy, but not necessarily antique furniture. Outside their house is what you would picture a lakeside with trees and butterflies. Except the lake is a pool of lava, and the trees are all in an external flame state. It's pretty hot, but hey, what are flame demons for. There aren't many minipets around, save for flame-inspired minipets like hellhounds and hellhorses. Danny's family owns an acre or two, nothing huge, but certainly nothing small. They are wealthy, but not in the "Bill Gates" sense.
Claudia Fitzgerald: Danny's mother. Is definitely the "oh you must call me Clauds, darling!" type. Like Danny, she's very free-spirited and whimsical. She is more concerned with her husband and having that sort of adult let's-through-ravishing-parties attitude. She's never really concerned herself with Danny, so she sort of let's Danny run around and do whatever she wants. This isn't to say that she doesn't love her daughter, they just don't really have a mother-daughter connection. They're more like silly high school friends.
Bernard Fitzgerald: Danny's father. He's easily jealous, but is a good spirit with a hearty laugh. He treasures his wife, and they both sort of gallavant around just doing stereotypical rich people things (rides on big boats, attending parties, etc.). He's a more quiet type, but is the steady hand that compliments Claudia's wild and creative side. He too could care less about Danny's life, and just sort of provides money and a happy "ooh how fun!" when appropriate.
Important note: Danny does not despise her family. What we would typically consider neglect Danny doesn't see at all. She actually really loves her mother and father, and just thinks that letting the leash loose is what every parent does. It's also because she's rather dense and doesn't really see it...
Oersted Fitzgerald: Danny's older brother. He is a smart, successful businessman with his act together- basically everything Danny is not. While she's skateboarding off the roof, he's busy making another contract with powerful demons. He's the type of older brother that completely overshadows the younger sibling, and whenever Danny goes places she gets the "oh you're Oersted's sister?!" treatment.
((ooc note: Danny is actually really hurt by this. She's incredibly insecure about it, but she won't tell anyone. She just says things like "oh I love my big brother!" and what not. She hides her discontentment completely.)
Rosalie: The family's zombie maid. She was contracted when Danny was little, but is happy to serve the family. She has that sort of grandma feeling, even though she appears relatively young. While Bernard and Claudia are out, Rosalie does most of the housework, and cares for Danny and Oersted as well. Now that Oersted has moved out, the job is certainly easier, but Danny is still a handful. Danny likes Rosalie quite a bit and thinks of her as a second mom. Rosalie hasn't told her what she was supposed to gain from the contract though.
MINIPETS:
Danny Has these candles sitting all around her room. Whenever you walk into her room they'll most likely be lit. She has lightbulbs and all, but still prefers cozy candlelight.
Ignis: A cute little hellhound given to Danny by her parents as a "moving away" present. One might claim it was to teach her responsibility, but Claudia literally went "oh that's cute, Danny will like it" and bought it. Though Danny doesn't get the name Ignis, her parents told her it was named Ignis and there were no buts. Most of the time she just calls it "dog" or "puppy." Ignis is basically a hellhound filled with soporific. He falls asleep walking, running, jumping, and in the weirdest of places- the bookshelf, under Danny's bed, on her guitars- everywhere! He's an extreme attention begger though. When people walk around him he gets all excited and begs for pets and food.

ok, so I like danny. stop making cool characters. >8T
ANYWAY, HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS.
Does her adrenaline junkiness get her into trouble often? She seems like kind of a wild child, has she ever gotten in trouble at school for it? (Do they expell students ever? >_>) Does she ever cut class?
Does her party-hard-ness stem from enjoying being in the spotlight, or is that just a possible side effect? Would she be the type to host parties? Does she like other people? Does she like to include other people in her nefarious prank related plans, or does she fly solo (LOL)? You said she likes baseball, is she a good team player, or is she a bit of a diva (I'm...not sure how you could be a diva in baseball, tbh XDD)?
She's a demon so that kind of makes her top dog on the campus - does this affect her interactions with people?
Is her easygoing/fun attitude, and her aptitude for pranking people, bordering on irreverence? I.E., does she understand respecting boundaries? I know you said she'll stop if asked, but that also she doesn't seem to take into consideration property damage or emotional attachment. Does this ever put her in awkward situations? Does this irreverence extend to borrowing people's things without permission, or stuff like that? I've had friends who didn't understand 'property boundaries' who were both unintentionally destructive and also had a tendency to borrow without asking XD which is why I ask.

haha, im glad! i have fun with my derpy characters.
she definitely gets into trouble a lot, but a lot of what she does is accidental, or for the greater good.
like their pet black cat might be able to pee on her parents' bed, so she kicks it aside (they're quite durable!) and hits a vase. people just see the broken vase and not the good deed she did (of course, this is at home, not what its like when she gets sent to amityville)
she doesnt cause serious enough damage to get expelled i dont think, lots of detention though!
cutting classes ... hmm. well shell only do it if she has a reason to back it up.
like if shes feeling crummy, she thinks thats a good enough reason.
but she wont just skip for fun. basically; she has to have a reason, even if its ridiculously minimal like "im ten minutes late to class, might as well not go"
i hope that makes sense
shes definitely a people person! shes not really one to host parties, that's waaaay too much work. but going to other peoples' parties? heck yeah!
she loves other people, shes a total people person. shes curious and excited about the stupidest and littlest of things

she loves the whole were accomplices in the mafiaaa sort of scheme. scheming is the best part fo sho!

shes no babe ruth, but shes not the wimpy kid who hits himself with the bat. she likes playing second base. she can be a stand in pitcher if like ... the two best pitchers are in casts xD like, shes not terribly great at it, but shes willing to step up and do it if necessary
ah, shes not really top dog. i would say shes actually outside of that whole popularity pyramid. she just likes having fun, and doesnt care where or who it's with. fun to her is things that are invigorating like sports or guitar-ing, etc. if she can do that, she's set.
popularity i think would have to be decided when she goes to amityville and has rps anyways <3

she knows to be respectful to her teachers and parents and older classmates, but she definitely is really bad at reading situations and emotions. the only time she really focuses on that sort of thing is during battles.
not necessarily awkward situations, but definitely people getting mad at her, and her not really understand why. again, she's more on the dumb side.
she doesnt borrow peoples things, or things like that. she's not intentionally bad is the point i guess im trying to get at. she'll crash things up and then be like "oh shoot! OTL"
she might borrow like a towel or something simple and wash it before returning, but nothing huge like an eyephone or anything~ o 3o

I like her! I think she'll be a lot of fun, although Syb would very likely be so terrified that she hides behind Cat/Muka or both whenever they're in the same room. Fire = BAD.
Some questions!
- Does she have a natural form? Or is she just as you've described, humanoid with horns and tail?
- Is playing the guitar her favorite hobby? Or are there more sports/games/etc that she likes?
- Does she have any girly aspects?
- Does she have any addictions?
- Is there a type of person she's not good at dealing with?
- Does she ever accidentally catch something she's looking at/interested in on fire?

im leaving it up to the artist to make her as demon-like or human-like as possible C:
guitar and baseball are probably her favorite two.
girly aspects ... not many xD
when it comes to romance, she's SUPER slow, but once she gets it, shes like "o/////////////////o"
she sort of fantacizes/glorifies romance in a way
she also like doing her nails, even though they chip a lot.
no addictions really. except maybe being an adrenaline junkie.
she's really bad at dealing with educated types, simply because they confuse her. using big words = WAT.
shes also a tad energetic, so dealing with silent types or calmer types is going to be rather hard
not just by looking at it, but technically her tail is lit, so she could catch things on fire that way
but shes had years to practice with her tail (her tail is like another limb, sort of like a monkey) so she knows how to maneuver around things so as to avoid giant fires. its not strong enough to hold her up or anything, she just has control over it o 3o

FINE I GUESS YOU GET ONE TOO *Shoves*
First thing that struck out at me - her 'Why' is really clear cut. It's simple, it makes sense, it works. I also like that you've made a note for room for development. That signifies plotting, and character development is my favorite part of this place - no one should enter the Acadamy the same way they exit it.
Next thing that sticks out - from reading the whole thing, I really get a sense that you read the world information carefully. She just makes sense with the entire world setting, and you're using information straight from the guide. Not everyone does this, since we tend to love to make up original things that no one's ever seen before - but why have a guide for things like types of demons and their powers if no one's ever going to use it? I like the usage of the information that TiH has been so kind to write out. It means you're reading. And reading is fundamental. *The More You Know*
I love the description of the environment she comes from. Fire elemental living in a burning forest? Yes please.
Uh.. s**t, I just realize I have no problem with this character. That means I can't actually crit. Uhm.

I think you've got a really solid quest going here. I couldn't point out anything too off or anything so that's golden. Really really really enjoy her design and concept as a creature!
I can guarantee that Bul would like her right off the bat (one for being warm, and two for playing guitar)
