The large stallion walked slowly through the forest and out into the clearing. it was nearly sunset and he wasn't about to keep going. He was a little tired of walking and wandering. He sighed and looked around wondering if there was something or someone to go. He needed something to do. Something to take his mind off his worries of trying to find his long lost cousins. He didn't think he would ever find them.
He sighed wistfully.
"Maybe there is something I can do over there?"
He fidgetted a little before walking over to a nearby pond wondering what he wanted to do. He sipped the water very slowly before looking around. There had to be something he could do to take his mind off something. He could really use it. He gave a snort then flicked his tail. He could smell a scent in the air. A scent that smelled like that of a wolf.

Humming Rishima lifted her snout into the cool air, allowing the breeze better access to hair neck and mane. The smell of snow was lingering in the air, the day's where becoming short but that didn't bother Rishima for she enjoyed the night. It was quite peaceful and the best time to hunt. Making her way further from her parents den, Rishima explored alone as she often times did to get away. She loved her family but sometimes a girl needed her privacy! Surrender, her sister, had been around fewer and fewer, but that was normal I suppose for grown children to go off and start a pack of their own.
Looking to her left, Rishima saw the perfect place to relax and enjoy what nature had to offer. A ledge that over looked the quiet forest, and was the perfect place to see the moon. A fullmoon. " Wow, it sure is big tonight. " She murmured to herself feeling content, her tail moving back and forth in lazy happiness. The sunset had set some time ago when she first left her home and now that she was deeper in the woods mother moon decided to show her face. Since Rishima had begun her journey she had track of time. Suddenly she recognize the smell a male, and she moved her head into the direction of the smell. It wasn't an unpleasant smell, infact it smelt quite nice all musk and male. She shook herself to clear her head and not get caught up in her senses. Feeling brave she made her way closer to inspect her visitor.

The stallion turned his head and eyed the female approaching wondering if it was best for him to even talk to her. He stood his ground and growled a little bit flicking his tail behind him. He could tell she was at least part wolf. Her tail and little bit of fur on her body said it all. He tilted his head with his pale blue eyes staring at her with a glare. He wasn't going to let his guard down or be nice just because he should be. That would never happen with him. It just wouldn't.
"Why are you coming near me?"
He called out to the mare flicking his tail a little more behind him to show he was pissed of. He dug his hoof into the ground feeling it sink into the soft soil as he watched the dark female more and more. He never liked wolves or dogs. So he wasn't going to trust her if the scent of wolf lingered around her or if she was part wolf. He growled lowly and gritted his teeth some before shaking his head.
"I don't do well in speaking with strangers..so if your looking for someone to speak to you better go talk with someone else. But...are you a wolf?"
He thought he should just ask since he was curious about it. He liked to learn about other races anyway and he should just take the small opportunity he had at the moment to do it.
He shifted slightly and let the skull on his face shift a little even though his glare continued to remain on her.

Rishima paused and her fur began to bristle as the unknown male began to growl. ' How can he see me in these woods in the dark? Are his senses heightened as well?' Frowning she listened to him speak not liking his attitude one bit.
" I see," Rishima's eye rose as she spoke calmly and cautiously. It was ironic really, she was the wolf and yet he was the one acting beastly. " I am in a way a wolf. I do have the tail thanks to my mother as well as father, though at times I wish I had the whole package. I don't even have daddies sharp teeth." She paused to pout before continuing. " But what can you do? As for strangers, how can you meet someone if you can't even talk to them?" Rishima stopped moving forward as she did not want to cause an un-necessary fight and took a breath to calm herself. " I was just passing through hunger pains and all. What brings you to these lands?" Her silver eyes watching the males moves incase he decided to attack, a girl had to be ready for anything.
The skull somewhat creeped her out, so she shifted her gaze downward and caught on the most beautiful necklace she had ever laid eyes on. Silver in color and within its center was a light blue pearly-jem that glowed. " Such a pretty piece." She spoke in awe.

The large stallion looked at her more wondering what to think of the female at the moment. Inside he wanted to shun her off and walk away. On the outside he appeared more curious of her look and the way she was in general. Like he had thought before. He didn't like dogs.
"Maybe that is my point. Not meeting others maybe is something that I want, but don't won't at the same time? Ah so your a mutt then?"
He snorted.
"Nothing really. I am searching for two family members of mine that have seemed to go...missing. It's m duty to find them and return them. What about you? Hunting or just soul searching?"
He asked the mare and it seemed like nowadays every single mare he encountered was doing some kind of soul searching or mate searching. He didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. He couldn't stand it personally because it just seemed weak that they couldn't be happy with being alone. Maybe he just thought differently then everyone else.
"I'm Gabriel. What is your name, mutt?"
He growled out to the mare and he had no standards. He would hurt a mare just the same as a stallion if he was attacked.
"Oh this? It's something my father gave me...runs in the family I suppose."
He shrugged eyeing the lantern a bit.

Rishima was usually a generally pleasant and happy-go-lucky personality but this males attitude was making her fur bristle and her mouth snarl. Her eyes narrowed at the mutt comment making her tail lash out in anger. ' Oooh!' She silently howled. ' I will not attack, I will not attack. I may get heart burn.'
" Ah family you say? Were they by chance running away from you?" She spoke innocently while blinking cluelessly giving off innocence, but then she felt bad because of the bitchness of her words. Even if he did appear like a jerk, it still wasn't nice to knock down his family. "In anycase I hope you find them--mutt." That word made her twitch again. " My name is not mutt, dog, wolf, or any of those things. I am Rishima Black." She let out an unladylike snort before listening to him speak some more. " Ah I see. Poo, I was hoping to come across a vender or some-such that could have such a lovely trinket. To answer your earlier question I am on a hunt. I could go for anything at this point seeing as I just woke up. I'm a night dweller I find it better to do things at night... they are mostly calm."
Rishima looked away from Gabriel for a moment when a sudden noise broke off to the left. "Did you hear that?" She whispered as her ears moved towards the sound. " Did you happen to come across anything while walking these woods?" Rishima became somewhat nervous and hoped it wasn't who she thought it was; panthers. Nasty things with their claws and teeth. They almost killed her sister last year.

"Running away from me? No. They admire and love me as well as rely on my for what I can give them which is protection."
He gave a firm nod to the mare before him before flicking his tail behind himself. His lantern wasn't all that appeasing was it? He didn't know why everyone seemed to be drawn to it, but just assumed it was something different compared to the other drab Soq wore on them.
"No nothing terrifying is in the woods and if there is it is my duty to protect you if harm befalls you. Though if your stupidity gets the better of you and you decide to attack something without knowing the tactics then I will step aside and let you fend them off yourself."
He told the mare as he looked around at the darkening forest. He didn't find it all that scary. It was more like home then anything.
