Shiny informative new guild homepage + 3 ways to tell people about the guild!

Hey guys!

No new/updated mods to announce (boo hiss!) but please try to read most of this announcement anyway! Or don't! That's cool too.

Before today, our guild homepage was kinda barren as far as information went. Now it is not. You can go take a look if you like, but since you're already a member you probably know most of it.

But here is something you don't know:

We've noticed a few of you telling your friends about us. COOL! Thing is, inevitably those friends are all "okay these people sound sexy and amazing where can I see these sexy amazing mods?" and you're at a loss because you don't have the URL to our guild memorized for some reason. So here are 3 things you can tell your friends when they ask where to find Gaia Modifications:

"Go to http://bit.ly/gaiamods."
This short and easy to memorize URL will redirect straight to our guild homepage.

"Search the Guilds for 'keist' or 'highpass'."
Searching for either of those keywords will bring up one search result: our guild.

"Oh, I have the link right here in my signature/profile/thread."

New Style: Header Overhaul

Howdy!

If you've been here awhile, you may remember my Navigation Overhaul style. And maybe also how way back in February I promised to comb out the bugs and re-release it. I kinda missed the mark on THAT deadline, but the point is that we're both here now and I am tentatively presenting you with the finished(?) style and my humblest apologies.

The Header Overhaul simplifies the navigation, notifications (i.e. that &Hey, I've got...& bubble) and what Gaia calls the &HUD& -- your username, user links, and gold/cash/points count. Most importantly, it makes all of these elements eagerly follow you down the page as you scroll. Take a look at this video preview for a brief but complete run-through of the Style. (You'll notice the Navigation auto-hides. To make it slide out, simply hover over the &HUD&.)

Interested? Install the style here. Remember, the navigation will be auto-hidden -- hover over the HUD to see it.

Style Updates: Hide + Giant Scavenger Hunt Items

Hey gang!

With this latest Sims scavenger hunt, Gaia decided they'd use a slightly different system. The change broke my Giant Scavenger Hunt Items and Hide Scavenger Hunt Items styles. If you had them enabled, the &Hide& version wouldn't actually hide the avatars, and the &Giant& version would make most of your page unclickable without actually enlarging the avatars. Derp!

I've edited them now, and they should once again work as advertised. Please update to the latest version using Stylish/Stylist or by visiting the links above. As usual: if the styles don't work properly, let me know in the glitch thread.

GES 2.1 Released

Not much new here. One new module, for small tweaks around the site. So far, the tweaks are:
- Fixes captcha tab index, for those of us who like to use keyboard shortcuts
- Allows you to shift-select PMs in your inbox (i.e., check one, shift-click another one further down, and all PMs in between will also be selected)

Also changed: small fix in QuickQuote module, new mystery module.
