Zulian was in cat form, watching the proceedings. Samsara was glad of it. He was just as hulking in feline form as he was as a soquili, and he was the largest panther she had seen in her life. She thought it added a touch of legitimacy to their cause to have him sitting there, not to mention he was quieter in that form and less likely to say something strange.
It was important that they came off well and powerful. The creature standing before her was more than a skinwalker, it was a purewalker. Where Samsara had hooves, the other mare had claws even in her soquili form. Samsara had never been before such a creature in her life, but she couldn't let herself dwell on that. To fear would be to die.
She was here speaking to this monster on a specific mission, a recruiting mission. She needed at least one more to come with when she went to kill her father, and a purewalker would be an invaluable ally.
"If you would be so interested, I have an offer to make," she hissed lightly. She held herself strongly and as tall as her small stature would allow. Zulian prowling behind her would make up for her lack in height.

Felise was not all that fond of her own kind, and so she had gone from relaxing in th sun on a tree branch in her cat form, to her larger form, though it wouldn't make much difference. She had herd and smelt them coming, but there were two of them, and one was much bigger than she was, her only advantage were that these were cursed walkers, if it came to a fight she had some adantages.
Eyeing the other catwalkers quietky, her striped tail flicking, the gold band on it glinting. Her swtance wasn't welcoming but she didn't feel the need to threaten these hooved ones like some scared kitten. Tilting her head, her gaze turning to th large male before turning to the cursed flutter. "Speak quickly." Her gaze again flicking to the large male, seeing him as more of a threat, so wanting to keep half an eye on him.
She had no idea what this offer was but she could hear them out, if she didn't like it she could send them packing, maybe with a little reminder to not be so bold with their betters, nothing serious, maybe just a shredded ear apiece... That would come later, if needed, for now she was curious as to what would bring them to her and so she listened.

The mare was paying attention to Zulian. That was good. Hopefully he would stay at his current level of hostility. Samsara somehow doubted that she would be able to recruit anyone to the cause if Zulian attacked them at random. She somewhat doubted his self control, strange as it was. She had been a skinwalker for a fraction of the time he had and already she was more controlled.
"I know of an elder, my father." Her ears flicked back with hate as she thought of him. "He insulted me and insulted the skinwalker race. For that, he needs to die. I seek allies for this." After the success with Zulian, Samsara had decided that appealing to shared skinwalker pride was the best way to approach the situation.

As the mare started to speak again Felise's gaze locked onto her, she wasn't sure what it was but her sense about this mare said that she was inexperienced of this life. Watching her silently, her blue eyes focused. It was unsettling to others when she totally focused on them, she saw everyone as a threat or potential meal, this mare and her companion were no different. Looking over the mare as though sizing up which portion she wanted for dinner.
Though through all this she was actually listening. An elder, interesting. She had never met an elder, but her understanding was that they were all peachy and condesending. But then what would she know, though what the mare said made her wonder, it seemed what she had herd was truer than expected.
Almost snorting in amusement, the little cursed flutter thought herself a skinwalker, her kind never bred true, they birthed prey not skinwalkers, little horses that were better off eaten than grown. But then most outside of the kind didn't understand, they saw only the pelt not the hooves.
Pondering and watching, debating if she would help. Remaining silent, giving the mare chance to add anything she might wish to. After all she didn't want to seem to eager to help, that would never do...

Her words were met with nothing but silence. The hair raised on the back of Samsara's neck and her tail lashed softly. She didn't like the look the purewalker was giving her. She readied herself to spring out of the way in the case of an attack. It seemed like that would be a likely outcome of this encounter. She heard a questioning growl from behind her and she she looked over her shoulder to fix Zulian with a glare. Not yet is what her eyes told him, and he waited.
"Of course, once the elder is dead then his herd is ripe for the plucking," she added into the silence. What did she need to do to entice this mare to her cause? Threatening wouldn't work against a purewalker, that was for certain.
"There are almost always foals, and you could have your pick of them to eat as quickly or slowly as you like. Many of the adults are old, most cannot fight. Once the elder is dead, there will be nothing holding the herd together and they could be killed as an example to all others." She, of course, had no immediate plans for the slaughter of the Padmapani herd. She wanted to kill Hayagriva and him only. She didn't care if the rest of the herd died, though, and she was quite willing to put it on the plate if it would help.

Watching quietly still Felise wondered what this had to do with her for a while, other skinwalkers had never done her any favours, and now here was a cursed one asking for help. The purewalker in her resisted the request, the weak needed to be killed off, it would be better for her kind if ones like this were killed off sooner before they could breed more weakness. But another part of her, (the part that enjoyed playing with her prey) was intrigued, and saw this family... Strife... As the possibility of entertainment, and a chance to sharpen her claws and possibly grab something easy to eat.
Her tail flicked as she pondered a little longer, she liked making others squirm and she could tell the mare was getting a little nervous. Besides she was starting to get bored of this face off, she wanted to change into her cat form and laze in the sun before going hunting. "Fine. When and where?" Still ignoring the male, he seemed subserviant to the female and therefore he noted low on her interest scale, the female however was vaguely interesting, and would be intriguing to watch.

Assent! Triumph lit up Samsara's eyes. She was one skinwalker against an elder but now had three. This was what she needed! They would succeed! Carefully she kept her expression calm. She could save celebration for later. She would have plenty of time to savor it then and think about how it would feel to finally kill the stallion that had oppressed her all her life.
"A week from now exactly is when it will happen." That would be enough time to scout the area and plan. As for where, she considered where might be a well known enough location that they could all find their way there. She pictured a place where three streams combined into one large river near an stand of holly trees.
"We will meet where the three streams become one. It is in the direction of sunset from where we are now. We will gather in the evening." Evening was when she had found her father alone before. That would probably be the best time to find him alone again.

Felise watched the play of emotion flicker on the mares face and mostly in her eyes. The mare had gotten what she wanted, though time would tell if it went as the cursed mare thought it would. Either way it would be interesting, the elder and company couldn't be any more annoying than that bunny that had pulled on her tail.
Fur bristling at the memory, a low hiss coming from her chest, eyes narrowing and ears flattening for a brief moment. Looking angry and dangerous, the bunny had gotten away though he had lost a fair amount of blood and received a fair amount of damage for his stupidity. One day she would have to hunt him down and finish off the lesson.
Her attention on the mare again and nodding. "In a week." She knew the spot where they wanted to meet, it was easy enough to get to. For now she would keep an eye on the pair till they were out of her territory, not that it was a big area but it was the area she had claimed and she was not all that fond of company.

Samsara sensed that the purewalker's patience was running thin. She felt no need to say any more and decided to leave it at that. "Together, we will kill him," she hissed as her farewell before slipping away from the mare. She passed by Zulian and he kept pace beside her while they walked. She had no way of telling whether the purewalker would keep to her word and show up but they wouldn't lose anything if she didn't.
"We can't trust her," growled Zulian. "She will betray us."
Samsara raised an eyebrow at her companion. Apparently they had become an 'us' in the time since Zulian had agreed to fight for her cause. "We can't trust any of our kind," she said back to him. "Isn't that what we tell each other? That this only lasts until we decide to kill each other instead?" She smirked at the tease. Would the tiger attack if she pulled his tail a little?
"Later, but not now," Zulian growled back. "You are the leader for now. When you aren't... then I might kill you."
His eyes glowed brighter and Samsara didn't doubt his words for an instant. "Then let's get this done, and save killing each other for later..."
