Lily grinned being back from her journey and having come back to a wonderful surprise. Tonight she was to babysit Sam, a friend of the family's son, whom she had not seen in some time. She was looking forward to the evening especially since she was far less sleep deprived than she had been in the past few weeks. She was still having the nightmare, but the trauma it was causing her was not so much after her little mini vacation.
She was pulled out of her thoughts when she noticed she was close to Sam's street and she focused her attention on the road, so she would not miss her turn and subsequently Sam's house. Just a few more minutes and she would be there.
A song started on the radio and of course Lily sung along. Singing was of course her passion. So this is how she pulled up to Colt residence probably looking rather silly singing and bobbing her head in the car. She parked and got out heading up to the door and singing the whole while.
Collecting herself she knocked on the door and waited.

Sam’s parents had spent the last half an hour getting ready for their night out. They had told Sam early in the day that they had a special surprise for him. Little did he know that the surprise was that his parents were going out and that Sam had a babysitter. They didn’t tell him actually who was coming over, but Sam had his suspicions. It could only have been one of three people.
It might have been Katie Vanhorne; a college student that Sam utterly despised. She always brought over her latest boyfriend and would spend the night canoodling with him instead of playing with Sam. And she never let him order the pizza he wanted. Then there was Patrick. Patrick was one of Mrs. Colt’s catering assistants. Whenever the Colts couldn’t find anyone else to come sit for them, they called Patrick. He wasn’t a bad guy, but to Sam, Patrick felt like a spy who was ready to report anything and everything back to Delia Colt. Patrick also smelled like cheese.
As the Colts came downstairs, Sam was sitting on the bottom step, fingers crossed that he didn’t have to spend the evening with slutty Katie or smelly Patrick. He couldn’t bear to look right away when the door swung open.
Robert Colt took Lily’s hand, shaking it hard and casually slipping the first half of her payment into her hand. Like Sam, he was a man of few words. He just nodded and smiled at Lily, letting her slip by him. Delia on the other hand began jabbering away.
“We’re sooo glad you could make on such short notice. I completely forgot about those play tickets. Ordered them months back. You know how it is, “ she giggled slightly. “Now there’s money for pizza on the kitchen counter. You two can order whatever you like. If you need anything just give us a call, otherwise we’ll be back about 10.”
The couple walked out the door and just before closing it, Mrs. Colt called out, “Thanks again, Lily!”
Sam opened his eyes when her head her name. YES.
The tan boy leaped up from his perch and tackled his sitter.

Lily was happy to sit for Sam, so she nodded and smiled. "It's fine Mr and Mrs Colt. I love watching Sam. Never a problem at all," she said holding the payment she did not really need in her hand and watching as the pair left.
As soon as the door closed Lily was tackled by Sam, which landed her in a heap on the floor laughing lightly.
"I missed you too Sam," she said between small bouts of laughter. She tousled Sam's hair standing up and looking him over. "I swear your taller again aren't you. It will be all to soon before I'll be looking up to you. I bet you'll even be taller than Xander."
She gave the boy a hug and released him with a small yawn before handing the payment she gotten from Sam's parent to Sam. She didn't need it and never kept it.
"So pizza, right? You have to refresh my memories as to the topping and we can get that out of the way first."

The last time that Sam saw Lily and Xander was at the company Christmas party. His father had been friends with their father for a long time, ever since he had started working with him as an in-house lawyer. Since then, Sam had a small growth spurt and had shot up an inch. “Yup! Another year or two I think and I’ll be a giant. You can live in my pocket.”
Sam smiled gleefully as he took the money from Lily. That was one of the perks of being sat by Lily, Sam got extra pocket money and his parents were never the wiser.
“Pepperoni! Extra spicy!” Sam ushered Lily into the Colt’s kitchen. It was a large room with immaculate stainless steel appliances and granite counters. The pizza money was sticking out from a flower vase. Next to that was a plate of cookies with a note attached to it: No junk food after 9pm!
Sam pointed Lily to the black cordless phone and left her there. He wandered out of the room to the den and from there called out to her, “Lily, you wanna make a puzzle?”
Sam was over joyed to have someone he could actually play with.

Lily laughed at Sam's joke, or at least she hoped it was a joke. "You will need really big pockets Sam. I have a lot of clothes and jewelry and of course their is Eamon. You haven't met him yet. He is my golden retriever."
Lily followed Sam into the kitchen spying the money and heading over to the phone, she did not care for pepperoni, but she never said anything, she just ate it because she wanted Sam to have fun. If that meant ingesting spicy pepperoni than so be it.
She headed for the phone and picked it up ready to dial the pizza place when Sam asked about puzzles. "Of course, you know I'd love to do a puzzle. Go pick one out while I order the pizza," she called.
Lily dialed the number and ordered pizza and breadsticks with a small grin. The total was given to her and the person told her it would be thirty minutes. She grinned hanging up the phone and heading into the den to see what puzzle Sam had gotten for them.

Sam was standing on top of a leather ottoman. He had pushed it to be flush against a built in cabinet that was open. Sitting on the shelves were several familiar family games like Monopoly and just above those was Sam's collection of puzzles.
As he was reaching up to grab a box labeled '3D Castle', there was a sudden series of loud barks. Something was outside, disturbing the neighborhood. Sam teeter down off the ottoman, dropping the puzzle box on the coffee. Wandering over to the window, he peered outside to see that a fire hydrant had been knocked over, water was gushing into the street. Not wanting to alarm Lily, he quickly drew the curtains.
"Crazy dogs."

Lily walked over to the coffee table a smile on her face, "Yes dogs tend to bark at just about anything." She looked down at the Castle puzzle and waved Sam over.
"I do not think I have ever done a castle puzzle before, it will be a fun first I bet. Come, lets get started, we've got thirty minutes before the pizza come and I bet we can get pretty far, if we work together."
Lily looked up as the barking continued and frowned slightly. She was probably thinking just what Sam was thinking. It might be worth checking out, but that couldn't happen, no tonight was for babysitting. No senshidom allowed.
She opened the puzzle box smiling at Sam and started pulling out pieces. "Shall we start?"

"Sure." The boy nodded at Maia, but started walking out of the room. "Let me just get something from my room."
Without saying anything else, Sam hurried up the stairs and rushed into his room, slamming the door behind him. There, he went to the window again. There were two large windows in his room, a door that opened out onto a juilet balcony. Pressing his nose up against the glass, he looked out onto the street again.
The sight wasn't pretty. A large youma, shaped like a boulder was running up and down the street. It looked like it was playing pinball with any obstacle. Sam sighed. He was really looking forward to having a nice fun night, making a puzzle. But, he was going to protect his house, and Lily, he would have to transform. Taking a stance he yelled out "Ixion Power Make-up!".
Then he opened the door to the balcony, and grabbed onto a nearby drain pipe. Sailor Chibi Ixion began to shimmy down the pipe, hoping Lily wouldn't come up to see or open the curtains as he descended.

Lily nodded and started to organize puzzle pieces, but after a few minutes she frowned wondering what was taking Sam so long, so she rose and headed to the stair. "Sam, did you find it?"
She waited but no answer. Her frown deepened still hearing the dogs barking, "Hey Sam, Sam are you alright?" Still no answer. She hoped Sam had simply fallen asleep or couldn't find what it was he was looking for, but her instincts were telling her that something was up.
"I'm coming up Sam," she called as she headed up the steps towards the boys room. The door was shut so Lily knocked softly, but getting no answer she pushed the door opened and poked her head in.
"Sam," she said her eyes wondering room for a moment before landing on the open balcony. Her heart nearly stopped and she rushed over right out onto the balcony. "Sam," she called still no answer and whats more she saw the pinball of a youma. She frowned watching it destroy everything it came into contact with.
"Sam," she whispered realizing the boy must have gone to try and play hero. Instantly she pulled her henshin pen out and called out, "Maia Power Make-up!"
Terror streaked through her veins, but she had to remain calm, right now she had to make sure Sam did not get hurt. Maia jumped right off the balcony to go after the boy. He was going to get such a scolding when she found him.

Ixion had run up the street, splashing through the ever-expanding puddle. As he ran towards the youma, he looked back to see another powered- up senshi catching up to him.
Where had she come-from? Just a moment ago, there were no other powerful magic auras around, and now there was a super sailor.
Shrugging it off, Ixion gladly accepted the fact he would yet again have some help taking down a youma. It looked this one was tough.
It wheeled through the street like a bowling ball, hurtling towards the boy. It was looking to knock him over like a pin, and crush him.

Maia was running up the street after the boy, he wasn't Sam or at least she hoped he wasn't. By the look of it he was another Senshi, but he felt different sort of like Hugbell, which meant he was a chibi senshi and not a small one either.
Maia shook her head, thinking of ********* with a smile, but only for a moment as she saw the youma rolling its way rather fast toward the chibi senshi. "Watch out," she called no wanting him to be bowled over and ran faster to catch up.
She ran right up to the boy, coming to a halt her crystal slipping out of her fuku and sparkling in the light, it seemed to glow like the night she found it and she knew what to do with it.
"Mint Crystal Power," she sang out starting off on the first song that came to her mind and feeling elated at the rainbow bridge that formed before them right over the youma. She grabbed the boy's hand and ran up it still sing as the youma collided with the end of the rainbow.
"Jump," she sang out as the bridge disappeared and she stopped singing, needing to catch her breath. Running and singing Maia felt it should be an Olympic sport.

What? Everything seemed to happen to fast. At first it looked like Ixion was about to become a chibi pancake. Until he heard Maia sing and saw the bridge form before his eyes. He followed her up, letting her pull him along. Ixion was confused, was this her power?
"Two senshi of rainbows?" Ixion recalled that being the sphere of Sailor Iris. This new bridge confused him and he didn't automatically think that this girl's power was song. "What are you doing? Who are you?"
When Maia said jump, Ixion automatically followed. His hand was still latched onto her's, the pair flew through the air together. The boy let go of her hand just as they were about to land.
The two senshi had gone a fair distance away from the youma. It was disoriented from crashing into the rainbow bridge and it took a minute to turn itself around. Before, the youma was content to destroy anything in its path. Now, all it wanted to do was run these meddling senshi over.

Maia heard the chibi's confused questioning. Two of rainbows, she wanted to assure them that wasn't possible, but she could hardly do so in that exact moment while they trying to escape a rogue youma.
When they landed however she took her stance against the youma ready to attack again. She need to get this done quick before she lacked the energy to do so and she needed to find Sam.
"I'm Sailor Maia, Senshi of Song," she said quickly, " and you would be?"
She eyes the confused youma, but as it got it barring again she frowned deeply highly annoyed by the thing. She did not want to try the brigde again, she wasn't sure of its limits, but she also did not want to be flattened.
"I hope you're ready to take this thing down," she said. She was perfectly willing to tag team with the chibi, he was a senshi just like she was and she knew it was everyone job to train them up and make sure they made it to adulthood.

"I'm Sailor ...Chibi Ixion, Senshi of Coal." The boy's sugar brown eyes glanced away slightly. Being a chibi wasn't something he liked admitting. He was almost as big as the other senshi! Saying chibi felt like saying he was weaker than they were. Even though that was true, Ixion still wanted to believe it wasn't. One day, he would be just as strong.
Ixion curtly nodded at Maia, posing beside her and ready to strike.
The boulder youma was already heavily damaged from smashing into the rainbow. A large spider-web like crack was visible, with lines running all over its body. As it barreled towards the senshi, Ixion summoned his power. "Ixion Coal Rush!" And he threw a small ball of coal at the giant youma. Hopefully, it would do something, or Maia could.

Maia smiled at Ixion, "It's very nice to meet you", she said as he nodded and got ready to strike. She had to say she like the kid already. A no non-sense attitude and it seemed he was ready to take down the youma.
He attacked and as Maia had no idea was his attack did she decided attacking might not be the best idea. Her attack she knew worked well with Themis' and Chaonis' even but their attacks did not produce anything tangible and Maia definitely did not want her notes getting in the way of Ixion's attack, no that would be really bad.
She waited her whole body tensed ready to attack or get out the way whichever came first. She hoped Ixion's attack did something or the fight was going to get very physical really quickly.
