Sighing in contentment, a peach colored stallion relaxed under a crop of honeysuckle vines in the warmth of the setting sun, dozing as he enjoyed the quiet and temporary privacy and seclusion as his mistress went out on a brief hunt, her decorative bells temporarily tucked behind his other ear as he kept them for her.
It was rare for the Amachi's eldest boy to get any time to himself in the past few years since his introduction to the Flock, to his new home -- Males tended to keep together, or be with his mistress, Zahraa'. Unlike many males, he was able to be hands on with his own filly and Colts, as he knew his place and could be a role model for the boy that remained in the Flock, so often times he was with his kids as well, teaching them skills that would prove useful to their home and stay at least somewhat true to their culture.
However, while he and Zahraa' were enjoying private time, bells were not conductive to hunting, and an opportunity was scented by the mare. Which lead him to his current state -- resting in a nice niche in the woods, waiting for his mistress to return and collect him.

Despite it being so late in the day (roughly near sunset), the young deer like horse, commonly known at Cerynei's, wondered the tall forest paths. His cloven hooves made soft noises as they crushed branches, grass, leaves, and other forest like substances under him. Over the past several nights, he had heard strange noises coming from the darkness of the forest near where his herd resided. And, being he had gotten almost tired of the screeching and chirping noises, he had to go figure out just what those noises were.
So, Spectral, as he was known, wondered the woods, his head lowered down to the eye level of an Usdia, ears flicking at every small noise. He kept his body moving fluidly, and was listening for those horrid screeches or curious chirping he kept hearing. But tonight, it seemed quiet. His hooves snapped another branch, causing his ear to angle down toward his feet, before flicking back up. He knew he stood out in the darkness that seemed to grow, his coat of white and bright colors sticking out in any dark area. He was just a beacon for anything thing about the area that could harm him, if that thing ended up in the area and spotted the white buck.
Why is it so quiet tonight? The night I decide to go out! Damn it... he thought, blowing some cold air out of his nose, before shaking out his head, hair falling slightly into his eyes. He moved back to his exploring, which was when another bright object caught his attention. His eyes flickered, locking on something tan-ish, with bright blue. He moved quietly forward, staring toward the seemingly napping stallion. It was one of the first times he had seen an actual stallion, not a Cerynei, in the forest. He couldn't quite tell what he was doing from so far away. So, with a shake of his body, he lifted his head, and walked quietly toward the other stallion, his ears perking and swiveling toward the male, very much so curious about him.
"Greetings. Are you lost?" Spectral called out, his tail wiggling a bit, causing the chains to make a rattling noise.
