Alright guys, the only way to be able to read hiragana is to... well, is to practice reading it. Below are some sentences written in hiragana. See if you can read and translate them!
わたしはゆきこです。だいがくせいです。だいがくにねんせいです。わたしのかぞくはごにんです。かぞくはちちとははとあにといもうととわたしです。
わたしはいぬがすきです。でも、ねこがきらいです。
いま、わたしはほんをよんでいます。きのうはともだちときっさてんにのみにいきました。
きっさてん = Coffee Shop
I'll start you off with these few sentences... once I see a few responses, I'll post more for individuals, based on their skill level.
Let me know how you do with these! Try hard!

わたしはすきないぬです。でも、ねこがきらいです.
The grammar on the first sentence seems really strange to me...any other examples? I'm curious biggrin

Kai Shi わたしはすきないぬです。でも、ねこがきらいです. The grammar on the first sentence seems really strange to me...any other examples? I'm curious biggrin Yeah, it's sort of a weird way to phrase it, now that I look at it again. The whole thing should really be phrased "わたしはいすがすきですが、ねこはすきじゃありません。”, but I haven't taught that grammar yet.

Or another slight variation could be using すきだ、 but that's just semantics and is more grammar they haven't learned yet.
