 The day had been long, boring without anything to interest her. Laying out in the grassy open area, she looked up at the sky, watched the clouds Things had gotten down right dull lately and it was dragging on her usually happy demeanor. The grass rustled around her as a carefree breeze rippled through the plains to play in her olive green mane. The curls gently tickled her face causing her to giggle slightly. Lazily she nibbled at a yellow dandelion bloom.

 Life was an adventure- An adventure that on this day had taken a drastic turn for the worse. It wasn't that anything terrible had happened. There was no physical danger involved. In fact, the only thing that was in any kind of harm was the patience and up-beat attitude of one very purple Cerynei stallion. He preferred the word 'stud', but that was neither here nor there for as far as he could tell all women creatures on the face of the world had managed to just cease existing. No matter how hard he'd been looking for one. So far the closest thing he'd gotten was when he'd thought he'd seen the flash of something feminine while napping at the edge of a stream-- But it had only been his reflection in the gently moving water. It was an honest mistake, he was drowsy from intense boredom. Or possibly he was just a really pretty boy.
He liked the sound of that more.
So it was with a dull canter and long face that he broke through the edge of the forest into a field of grass and dandelions. Keeping his eyes to the ground he sighed dramatically after every two steps, bent to nibble at the tender greens of the yellow flowers, and then move on. He didn't even want to sing ... Until the soft chewing of another being drifted past his ears. Flicking them both towards the sounds of another eating he let his eyes follow and found himself looking at another Soquili.
But not just any soquili. No. This was a girl! The very gender he'd been searching all day for epically and to seemingly no avail- But there she was. Olive curls moving in the breeze, matching eyes gazing lovingly at the skies that matched her fetching accessories. She was delicate and refined and the PERFECT subject for a song. A song that was rapidly filling his heart and threatening to fill him to bursting if he didn't share it with the lovely lady immediately.
Unfortunately for his song Duke was so overcome and dumbfounded that he was actually alone with a female that all his body would let him do was stand there staring at her. Jaw slack and eyes slowly glazing over.

Taking her eyes from the sky, she glanced about only to find that a stallion had stumbled upon her and was just standing there.. staring at her. What was with him? Did she have something on her face? Shaking her head sent her curls whirling about her some. "Can I help you?? Is there something wrong with me??" Her voice wasn't rough nor was it entirely smooth and delicate. It was feminine, with an edge.
Standing, she shook the grass and other things from her coat, watching him intently to see just what was with this.. awkward buck. She was by far dainty having gotten the height her mother carried, she stood taller than most average sized mares, though not so much that she'd dwarf them. Still, as he stared, she offered him a small, friendly smile. "Well.. don't just stand there staring like a slack jawed colt who's never seen a mare before. I'm Tian."
