Gomeisa skirted through the streets on edge, one never knew where or when the Negaverse would be hanging around.

Desma hadn't henshined up in over a month and being in her uniform was like donning a second skin; she felt more relaxed behind the magical glamor than in the back of history class hoping the professor didn't call on her. It was a freeing prison, there were demands of the Senshi, be good, take out the Negaverse when you can, save the Earth from Evil, whatever, but Desma could trade all of that for the feeling that know one could say

Her green boots clicked against the pavement as she move quickly, Gomeisa was on a mission. The teenager had just returned from a "vacation" - her mother had forced her to live with her aunt for a month while she underwent therapy two to three times a week.

Her mission was to leave a card for Anthony Darrow whom Desma had figured out was a librarian. The psychologist had expressed to her that although there are many bad things, she should praise, and be thankful for the good ones. Desma thought Anthony was one rad dude, and she'd only met him once in the Dream World. He was a civilian, or at least seemed to be, one that had held his own during a battle, and didn't seem too freaked out about Elysion. Embarrassingly enough the man was in his underwear, but he still was kind, and that made an impression with the Senshi.

The Senshi of Failure lurked around the corner of the building, lime green envelope in hand, hoping that tonight would be one of the nights where there wasn't a youma, Negaverse, or even other Senshi out there lurking in the shadows. She didn't sense any power source for now, but things could change.

Tony had gone home for the day, feeling a bit sickish and wanting to sleep what might be a cold off before it became anything more than that. It was early be his standards, but still after his scheduled work hours, as per usual.

Chaonis had been on his way toward the library and missed him completely, two ships passing in the night, as Tony drove by to get home. He didn't like taking his car, but walking home was always so dangerous, driving seemed a bit better. The Senshi of Danger traveled by rooftop, and was too busy jumping over alleys to see his father leaving. So he ended up at the library with no one to watch out for.

The lights were off, the doors locked. It looked abandoned. The night always had a way of making things look creepier than they really were, and the library almost seemed sinister, standing tall against the clouded, moon lit sky. There was no life inside it, beyond reflect green glows of exit signs inside.

Chaonis sighed, sitting atop the awning that stretched over the glass doors at the entrance. His attention sparked when he felt a powered up energy moving toward him, and he realized it was another senshi before spotting her.

He arched his eyebrow, then timed his jump before dropping down behind her.

"A little late for dropping a book off, don't you think?" He said, grinning broadly. He imagined she had just been in the area and was just being a very thorough senshi by checking the buildings for trouble, or something stupid like that. It didn't occur to him that she actually had business at the library.

He watched her, head tilted, a grin on his face.

Despite his ever cocky posture, his body language was heavy. He was tired from constantly getting into fights, of his own choice, and he was pushing himself on and on. He had gathered a few wounds, bruises and cuts, from a number of fights, and his hands were started to show the signs of too much brawling.

But that didn't stop him.

Gomeisa was about to peer into the locked doors to ensure no one was inside before she was startled.

Gomeisa nearly jumped out of her boots, and whipped around to face what she was sure would be a Negaverse agent. The only thing stopping her from shouting 'Jesus Christ!' while she was startled, was that the nuns at the seminary didn't appreciate such language and she'd trained herself to say friendlier things as to avoid chores.

The teenager was relieved to see another Senshi instead of some ghoulish phantom in the night.

"Cheese and rice, you've got to warn someone before sneaking up on them like that." She nearly growled at him, one hand pressed to her chest, and with the other she was attempting to shove the green card behind her back between her body and the crooked blue bow.

Gomeisa looked him over startled, the Senshi wasn't quite the same as before, but she knew him - whoever he was the sailor suited man had saved her months ago. So that's what an upgrade does to you, The word had been tossed around, but Gomeisa had never seen a Senshi before and after.

"My spidey senses are apparently not tingling, I should've noticed you," She was struggling to find a safe place to tuck the card. She did however notice he looked a little worse for ware, even with the grin on his face it was evident.

In the dimness of the moonlit night sky a shadow hopped on all fours around the corner of the near by building the youma was pitch black, blending in with the night. Elongated, useless fangs protruded from it's gnarled mouth, and a freakishly long protrusions from it's head. The monster stood as tall as a cocker spaniel. It smelled something, it's grotesque nose twitched as it looked for the source.

The youma made a strangled noise that forced the shaggy haired girl to jump again, "What in the hell was that?" Apparently the nun's hadn't won the war on profanity completely, "I don't think my heart can take anymore surprises."

"No I don't," He said blandly, though he was grinning wickedly because he liked that he had scared her, "if you were paying attention like any good senshi would do, you'd've sensed me coming. I knew you were down here, after all."

He frowned at her then, noting she was looking him over. What was her problem? Had she never seen awesome armor on a badass senshi before? Or maybe she really liked his goggles. Or the caution tape around his hips had her wondering what the warning was for. He was being a little vain, but when someone was staring at him he had to assume it was because of, literally, how he looked.

He didn't know she was the same girl from the parking lot, of course. Being powered up now, the magic masked him being able to recognize her as a civilian without actually knowing it beforehand. So he frowned at her disapprovingly.

"It's rude to stare."

Even Chaonis jumped, though his pride was loathe to admit it, when he heard the strange sound of the youma nearby. He hadn't realized they had more company, and his own lecture about being aware was forgotten in the wind as he turned in surprise to try and pinpoint the source of the sound.

A strange feeling hit his chest. Hesitance? No. He was strong and he would fight: he loved to fight. Nothing would stop that, as far as he consciously knew. Something else. Reluctance. He would fight, but his body resisted where the mind was eager. He was tired.

"That sounded like something we should probably get rid of," he said, looking around but not seeing the shadow until it moved out of a particularly dark shadow. It did not look anywhere near friendly, and he tilted his head at it.

"It's not Easter today, right?"

He shot her a look, then grinned and pointed at the youma, as if she didn't get the joke and he had to spell it out for her. It looked like a grotesque mockery of a rabbit or hare, one designed specifically to make a small child horrified of all things woodland and furry.

"I'm not staring, I was just," Gomeisa sputtered and then looked down at her boots, alright she had been staring, but it wasn't every day you run into someone who saved your life, particularly now that she understood how he did it. He was the different, and the same all at once. Gomeisa could not come right out and tell him why she stared. She'd been struggling recently with having a secret identity.

Her blue eyes scanned the darkness until they fell upon the moving shadow, she cringed in horror watching it hop sickly toward them. "So That's where Cadbury Eggs come from!" She joked, and then shot him a look in return to see if he understood.

Desma thought his cockiness was a bit charming in a way, it was the smile, and she perceived his mannerisms to be a sign of confidence.

"Should we put the deranged thing out of it's misery? It might have rabies. That can't be good for the rabbit population." Gomeisa wait for his cue, her attack was purely defensive based, and it was very hard to know when a youma would attack.

The youma's interest was piqued by the Senshi it hopped on all fours toward them. Once it found it's targets it's slow speed turned into a dash in their direction.

Chaonis laughed at her joke, despite himself. It wouldn't surprise him if creme eggs came something as horrifying as a youma, particularly that one. It would account for how devilishly good they were, in his opinion. Not that he was going to gush about easter candy at the moment, though he certainly wanted to.

"Well, if it drops any you can go ahead and take it, if you want," he grinned, wrinkling his nose at the thought. Now whenever he had a creme egg he would think of youma poop. Did they poop? Whatever the case, it would not deter him from his fondant filled chocolate egg of love.

"Well, it would only be humane of us to put it down. It wouldn't come at us like this if it wasn't looking for someone to put it out of its misery, right?"

He was hiding how tired he was, punching his fist into his other palm eagerly, looking ready for a fight. He might have been playing at a lower level, but he was still confident that he was more than a match for the youma. Anyway, he had some backup this time, right? If she had a useful attack, he could slack off a bit and not have to drain himself by calling his own magic.

Though, he would if he needed to.

"Whoa, it hit the turbo," he said, seeing how the youma was now charging toward them. He braced himself and opted to run out to meet it, ready to catch and grapple with the thing. Or, in this case, get hit by it and get sent flying. Maybe his being run down as affecting him more than he was willing to admit.
