Gah! this has to be my favorte. I always sing as Maureen and my friend (Jasmine) sings as Joanne. We sing on the phone and at school. It is the greatest song! Sad but wonderful.

mrgreen I love that song that and tango mureen becuase joanne mrgreen is like one of the main peopple and i love her mrgreen but it's not just becuase of her i just really love the song regardless of who's in it me and my sister sing it all the time and when we do it aroung our friends there like what the hell is that and laugh but we don't care we love it mrgreen

i love this song, in tho movie where were two shots that really stuck with me

- maureen acting like a tiger on the pool table
- mareen and joanne's "take me babaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy! or leave me..." when they are both doubled over (maureen backwards and joanne fowards) over the pool table.

i have yet to see the stage version... theres gotta be a bootleg somewhere out there.... -goes to look-

and I woudl say that I like the blocking better in the movie, but the voices better in the OBC. They didn't have much to play with stage-wise in the OBC because they were restricted to one table, but they made the most of it. And Fredi's voice is so strong it kinda hits you full force. I love it.

that cannot all be once sentance...

yea me and my friend sing that all the time, but she doesnt get the whole "one person is one character the other person is the other" so we bothe end up being both... not nearly as fun.
