Appearance Aure Rousseau have red vibrant short hair and large hazy purple eyes. Her eyes are usually half asleep or half lazy (shape) because most of her mind's focus is being transferred to Steed (her puppet). Aure's forehead's bang is cut straight, leaving the length ending just above her eyebrows. The hair on the back of her head is cut short, length almost touching her shoulders, but her side bangs are left uncut, which tend to hang loosely over her shoulders. Her height is about 4'2".
Steed's hair is the same red color as Aure's, but the texture/style is more boyish spikey/cropped than Aure's straight cut. Eyes are also same color, but is often wide awake. His height is about 4'8".
Aure's performing outfits are often picked out for her in the back stage from the makeup/etc crew, which is usually a frilly dress with a matching hair/head accessory. Any other time during the day/week, she will choose to wear more boyish clothing to match herself with Steed. Steed often wears a simple suit outside of work (easily covers his doll joints), but the suit'll be more flashy if need be to match Aure's current performing dress.

Personality Aloofly quiet, like a wallflower in a party. She rarely shows emotion on her face, or much interest in other people’s ideals. Whenever she have to answer a question, her reply will be made up of emotionless few words (5 words at most). Most of her interactions with other people are through Steed. His personality is typically found with-in most other young boys out there, a very thick skull, high determination, and a big heart (though this is actually her inner voice speaking/talking).
Her distant personality will do a 180 whenever she interacts with the Ringmaster of Circo Nelle Stelle though. She's attached to the ringmaster, asking questions whenever she gets the chance, what's life's like to him, why other people act however they want to act, who decides what, etc. She'll become shy/distant whenever the ringmaster asks her to use her puppeteer powers though, since it reminds her of her blunder in their first meeting. Her life, you could say, revolves around the ringmaster and her puppet.
Abilities Psychic powers, a gift from birth. Could read other people’s minds and control her puppet Steed at will. Whenever Aure’s in a tough situation, she would use Steed’s party parts to fight in her stead. That means, separating Steed's head from his body and throwing itself hard at the enemy’s head, or the puppet's hand get dislocated from the wrist just so it can poke out another man’s eye to blind him.
Weaknesses Ringmaster Nelle Stelle of course. She considers the ringmaster her “master”, while herself being his puppet. She won’t tell this way of thinking to anyone though, even the ringmaster himself.
If another psychic person were to try to read her mind, Aure will bring up her own psychic powers to block the intrusion. Her mind is very private, and she hates anyone who will try to force their way through her. She will throw her puppet around in tantrum if someone was to break through her defense, and she will make sure that person will pay dearly. Of course, the ringmaster is an exception to this, and he might be the only one who could calm her down if she does go into tantrum.
Even though she can read people’s minds, she hardly uses the power because she doesn’t care enough about the people around her for her to use it. She won’t use it on the ringmaster simply because of her trust placed on the person. And due to her lack of using this skill, she often forgets that she has this ability.
Back Story “Yes mama, I will be a good young lady,” a young girl’s voice was heard in the quiet dining room, flat and monotonous, “Yes papa, I’ll study lots so I can be very successful. …I will make both of you proud…” The parent smiles at the reply. Today marks the third year since Aure Rousseau's birth. Her birthday present is sitting on the side opposite of her in the four-man dining room table. The present is a large androgynous doll for a girl of her age, with very realistic face and hair. With a bit of effort, people may mistake the doll for a real live boy/girl, about 10 years in age. The parents dressed it up like that of a boy, disappointed that their first child came out to be female. “Sweet heart, if you ever feel lonely, go ahead and speak to him (doll). He’s your good luck charm, and he’ll take away all of your worries,” her mother reassuringly. The little girl could tell that her mother's lying, she never really understood what a "lie" is, other than someone saying something different from what they're thinking at the time.
A year later, the little girl was found inside her bedroom, crying to her doll, “Help Steed… Mama and papa’s hurt, and there are bad guys downstairs looking for me…” The sky’s pitch black, bedroom light is off, and the door is locked shut. Upon hearing the door being knocked on, her fear causes her mind to finally make a connection with Steed’s lifeless body. The doll’s head start to shake, eyes blinked, and then turned to aside to stare at its owner. “Open this door, little gal,” the voice of a grown man leaks through. She turns around terrified, but didn’t say a word as an arm wrapped around her body by Steed. The doll opens up the window with his other hand, and threw both himself and its owner out the window for escape. The next day, the news had spread through the whole town. The girl’s parent had passed away that night, and the child had gone missing. It’s been rumored that the burglars had took a hold of her, and the police’s effort ends up with no lead.
“Hey, are you an orphan?” a group of children (of various ages) surrounds Aure, who happened to be dragging Steed around in the deserted street. This is the first time she had encountered someone outside her house without her parents being around, making her too scared to speak. “Eh, looks more like a runaway,” says another. “Well, runaways are still friends,” said the leader toward the group. The leader looked at her in the eyes, “Get rid of that heavy doll and join us. Life is tough without food and water. We have to steal from people, and that doll won't do much if you don't sell it for money.” After waiting for a while, and not getting any answer from the girl, they turn around disappointed and left her be. Chances are, the girl will probably end up running back to her house anyway.
Taking the advice of the children from the other day, Aure decided to use Steed to do the stealing. It end up being successful a few times, making her more confident of her powers to control her puppet. She spent the next week in the shadows looking through Steed’s eyes, watching the abandoned children do their daily activities. Most of the time is spent observing one boy though, the lead of the group. After learning all she could from the leader, she decided to steal from a passerby, who happened to be the current ringmaster of Nelle Stelle. Once she heard an odd sound coming from the “leg” Steed kicked at, she lost her control by surprise. Steed falling to the floor caused her to dash out of her hiding place and ran up to Steed to protect her fallen comrade. She curses to herself (well, inside her head) for letting this happen. Now some stranger knows of her power, and she’s too scared to figure out what to do next.
…The man asked Aure an unexpected question…
Facts After finding out her power to control Steed, Aure finally understood what it was that had kept her questioning herself every now and then. Majority of her life, she always had someone giving her commands on what she must do (rather than what she would like to do), but that changed when she met the ringmaster of Nelle Stelle. He was the first person who gave her an option to choose for herself, and that question he asked her on that fateful day was whether she wanted to join Ciro Nelle Stelle as the puppeteer or not. She considered that life is about being the one who controls others, or being the controlled. This is why she considers the ring"master" her master, and her being the controller of Steed.
Steed's personality is based off of the boy Aure observed in the streets (the one who was leading the group of abandoned/unwanted children). He was very demanding to her at the time, but he wasn't all that scary like the teachers or the burglars were. She actually likes him, so that's why Steed's personality is like so. It was because of the boy that she doesn't really get the chance to learn about what girls are like at her age (Aure lived a very strict lifestyle). That's why Aure has this "tomboy-ish" personality.

Rose: And a kid to boot! xd ...Um... Honestly, I didn't make a kid OC because Icarus likes children, I made a kid OC because we totally lack 'em. I don't know, I feel I'm better rping with kid characters than I do with older ones. o3o
