Story: Warrior's Scourge (Gladiator Arena)Name : Kahlan Amnell Age : 18 Gender : Female Heritage/Race: English Skills/Talents : Fighting with a spear Weapon of choice: Spear Armor: Same as in pic Personality: Her beauty masks her deadliness Background : After escaping from a slave trade, Kahlan found herself jobless. Her only options were to become a prostitute, or a warrior. It was previously un-heard of, a female warrior, but after vigorous training under a wounded gladiator she was able to fight. She was offered a chance to fight in the opening games of the Colosseum and graciously accepted, but soon found that some of the lecherous rulers treated women unfairly. Skills / Talents : Beyond his combat proficiency, Kornelius is most renowned for his rousing battle cries, which have been known to terrify his enemies.
Weapon of choice : Battle axe
Armor : Gauntlets, grieves and pauldron made of leather with small spikes dotted across, and an iron breastplate and tasset.
Personality : Kornelius is a titanic brute of a man - that's about all that can be said. He's not much of one for words - at least, not ones spoken at an inside voice.
Background : A small village in Scotland, hardly even marked on most maps, was hit by a raiding party of vikings. A single survivor crawled aboard the viking's ship and decapitated the members of the crew who stumbled across him. This was Kornelius - even at the age of ten, he was a killer. He spent most of his adolescent years on the ship, accepted only because he was capable of nearly killing the captain. Eventually, the crew was apprehended, and most of them were killed. The survivors, including Kornelius, were placed in the arena. Now, only Kornelius remains.
Body Modifications : His body is covered with tattoos, which he claims to bring him ancient, ancestral power. In reality, all they really do is make him look terrifying.

Weapon of choice: A blade edged shield.
Armor: Serpent Pauldrons, Serpent Breastplate, and Serpent Guantlets, all providing her with more movement then regular armor.
Personality: Outgoing, Strong, Bold, Devious, Skilled. She's as much of a gladiator as any man, doubt her and she'll prove you wrong. A dangerous woman by nature.
Background : Once the wife of a powerful Roman general, Rho has battle experience. When she was caught trying to poison her husband's wine, well she was to be punished. Her husband decided that, since she was the one to help him think of such brilliant battle strategies, she was to fight in the arena. She was trained and ,though the men doubted her when she entered the arena, has been the victor of many fights.

Armor: plate covers her head to toe,
Personality: Hostile, quiet, secretive, tactical.
Background : Kyra was captured and taken from her family during a war against another village. She was beaten and sold from master to master, her plan...get home. first she needs to get through the arena...that would mean surviving, something Kyra's had to scrape for her entire existence, not too hard right? but the arena's different, she's heard the screams, and it's making her a little paranoid. She's trained since she was old enough to hold a weapon, will she be strong enough to go home?
Body Modifications: Wears a helmet all the time, 24/7 ever since she was first captured. She doesn't let people see her face. Possible reason?

Story: Warrior's Scourge (Gladiator Arena) Name : Gimble Tumblethorn Age : Adulthood Gender : Male Heritage/Race: Greek/Halfling Skills/Talents : Born with incredible speed, agility, aerobics, precision, and perception. Weapon of choice: Two daggers/Bow and arrows/Throwing stars Armor: Leather armor Personality: He is quick witted and highly intelligent. He is usually thinking 3 steps ahead of his opponent. He can be nice, but in battle, he shows no mercy. Background : He remembers always being looked down upon, literally, he only stands at about 5ft. But that is also his most faithful ally. Most of his enemies take advantage of his size and it ends much to quickly for them. Gimble has learned to never underestimate his opponent, no matter how it looks. The biggest clown can be the hardest enemy. Body Modifications: His face and body are covered in scars of his own doing to train himself. He wears a mask to cover his mouth, which is scarred from being cut down the middle by the tip of an axe. He also knows a lot of poisons, most of his weapons are coated with it. Appearance:

NameBrunner Age37 GenderMale Heritage/RaceGerman/Senku [Artificially created human] Skills/Talents Being a bounty hunter, Brunner is fairly skilled at tracking. He is also ambidexterous. Weapon of ChoiceBrunner carries a full-blown arsenal, though some of it is stowed on his packhorse, Paychest. On his person: he carries a dragon-hilted longsword dubbed Drakesmalice, strapped to his left hip. Also on his left hip, above Drakesmalice, rests a large, serrated knife named the Headsman, a testimony to it`s purpose. Across his chest, he wears a bandolier of throwing knives, four in total. On his right hip is a collapsible repeating crossbow, with a magazine of eight bolts. On the small of his back, slightly to the right and in easy reach, lies a quiver of crossbow bolts, numbering twenty-four. Close by, in a pouch, is a medieval version fo a speed reloader, an ingenious device that, preloaded, allows him to reload all eight bolts into his repeating crossbow at once. Strapped to his back is a falchion, a blade that bears no name. Built into his gauntlets is a device that, when activated by the flip of switch, launches a throwing knife with deadly accuracy. Both are preloaded. In each boot is a hidden boot knife. ArmorA brigandine, steel breastplate lies atop studded, hardened leather armor, which itself is covered by chainmail. Pauldrons are attached to the breastplate. Wearing no armor on his upper arms and flexible leather on his elbows to enhance movement speed, twin gauntlets made of the same material as his breastplate cover his forearms and hands. These are adorned in spikes, which have been observed to be capable of mounting both offense and defense. Across his waste is a belt made of the same studded leather armor, which contains his weapons, money-pouch, and canteen. Down from this is a short, chainmail overskirt, open in both the front and back to allow free movement. Under this, Brunner wears small plates of steel armor on his thighs, chainmail over his knees, and shinguards that can be attached to the studded combat boots. The sallet helm he wears is one of the last of it`s kind, perfect for the bounty hunter as it obscures the majority of his face, save his mouth and jaw, and his eyes. It has become a trademark of sorts. PersonalityGruff and blunt would be the two best words to describe Brunner. He rarely talks, and when he does, he says what he thinks without fear of retribution. He`s seen plenty of bloodshed in his line of work, and has become hardened to the grim facts of life, resulting n him becoming a bit of a cynic. He believes that concepts like honor and respect are long-dead, especially in combat. He works for the money, and only for the money, and often refuses those who can`t afford his prices. Brunner has more than enough reason for his above-average rates, however; his reputation as a bounty hunter is among the very best, and his track record shows it. He travels with a warhorse known as Fiend, and Paychest is the large packhorse that carries his equipment, such as supplies to make camp, weapon cleaning and repair kits, medical kits, food and water, and various other items that the bounty hunter enjoys. It is sometimes said that, given his hostile demeanor, these two animals and gold are the man`s only friends. As such, Brunner`s physical attributes outdue those of an average human. Stamina, speed, strength, and intelligence are all at higher levels. His sight and hearing, like his sense of smell, are much sharper than normal humans`, and he can see clearly in the dark. The upgraded body allows him to wear his armor as if it is no heavier than the average tunic and breeches, a fact which has surprised many a foe almost as much as his ruthless cunning and seeming lack of emotions. NameYozen Takeda Age26 GenderMale Heritage/RaceJapanese/Human Skills/Talents Yozen is skilled at playing the flute, and equally so in strategic games such as chess or shogi. Weapon of ChoiceSenso/Hitan are Yozen`s chosen weapons in place of a personal katana. His chosen weapons for close-quarters combat. They can be used for disarming as well as striking a killing blow, the top half of their blades being double-edged. They have both offensive and defensive capabilities, and their hilts are designed to fit together to be stored in a single sheath. The hand-guards can be used as knuckledusters. They are kept on his left hip. A kusarigama is his preferred weapon of choice in close to mid-range quarters. He`s highly proficient with this one, and it holds the same meaning to him as other samurai`s katanas do to them. It`s his only named weapon. The blade can retract into the handle like a cat`s claw, or go the opposite direction and stand straight to form a sort of curved shortsword. Both modes are locked in place by a switch, and there`s a hook/notch for the weighted end of the chain to be held securely after said chain has been wrapped around the handle. It is placed on the back of his waist. These Trench Knives are used by Yozen as a last resort if he`s unable to use other weapons for some reason, or against a large, slow-moving opponent. Excellent as both bludgeoning and lunging weapons, they excel at slipping into weak points in armor and are also multipurpose tools in addition to being weapons. He`s used them before to climb walls and dig pieces of various items out of wounds, as well as to pick locks. They are stored across his stomach in the same fashion pirate stored pistols for a quick draw, in easily accessible sheaths. For ranged combat, Yozen had adopted the traditional yumi bow, and carries it strapepd across his baxk next to a quiver containing twenty-four arrows. ArmorHe wears masterfully crafted armor, colored a spectacular jet black and influenced in some parts by the European use of chainmail to cover areas that aren`t by his armor. The underclothes, a yukata over a kosode and shortened hakama, go hand in hand with the rather depressing choice of coloring, a dark navy blue. Pauldrons on each shoulder pose an intimidating presence, even as flat and flexible as they are. Straps of leather-padded chainmail connect them over the yukata to his breastplate, which bares the three-coin symbolic crest of Sanada Yukimura, the master Yozen currently smost recently served under. This in turn branches out to the arms, where plates are provided for bicep and tricep, leaving the elbows free for quick movement. The pieces on his forearms end with long, durable and thin fingered gloves that contain a hand-sized plate corded into the top with a black braid. These, too, are engraved with the triple-coin crest. By contrast, the hakama that hangs from the bottom of the chest plate is separated from the torso`s armor by a belt of chainmail, padded again with leather and attacked by chain-mail cording. The sides of the inner, clothing hakama are cut open to provide freer movement of the legs, while the armor-oriented outer hakama is slightly heavier and made of more durable chainmail, covered occassionally by armor plating. If one were familiar with traditional samurai battle-dress, they could be sure that Yozen`s hakamas are at least several inches shorter than iss standard. Travelling further down are shinguards, three long plates for each leg, covering the front and each side of both shins. They end at the point where ankle meets leg, allowing for free movement of the tabi and sandle-encased feet. PersonalityLike all samurai, Yozen follows the ancient code of Bushido, but only by the slightest standards. He`ll find loopholes any way he can to give himself more freedom. Among the seven principles - honor, loyalty, respect, courage, bevolence, honesty, and integrity - he follows most closely loyalty and honesty. The others tend to come and go whenever it`s convenient to him. He`s curious and innovative, but his serious side is calm and rather careless. All around, he`s a good guy with a sense of humor and an inexplainable, intense love for curry. In his pack, there can be found a sharpening kit for all of his bladed weapons, as well as a repair and cleaning kit for Holiday, his yumi. Also there is a shogi set, an intricately carved flute, a medical kit consisting of alcohol and bandages, blank scrolls along with a paintbrush and ink, rations enough for three days, and a few scrolls on various subjects of interest to Yozen. angel only remembers how she died nothing more.She was told at a young age her parents died and that she was royality in some way.Angel was turned into a vampire when she was 23.she was walking around in London,England about to head home it was late and she new it was dangerous to stay out at night so she took a short cut and from out of no where she was grabbed.Angel only remembers waking up in a strange cabin and a bite on her neck.Since then she had a dark since of everything and wondered around protecting the innocent.

Story: A Healer's BattleName : Iulia Heartsong though her title as healer is IuliaTark Age : 23 Gender : female Heritage/Race: Sursian Skills/Talents : She is the healer though she is also well trained in hand to hand and sword fighting. Weapon of choice: sword and her fighting hawk, Jennica Armour: none other than the healer's clothes she wears Personality: forgiving, determined, open-minded Background : Iulia grew up an orphan in her village. At the age of 13 the local healer took her in and taught her his ways. Now she seeks her own village to heal for. But her goddess, Tatiana, has chosen her to be a fighter for her cause. Tatiana rules over Iulia's land, choosing a few treasured people to be her servants, protecting her people and defending the laws. Each chosen one is paired with an animal, in Iulia's case it was the hawk. Now Sursia is on the brink of war when a neighboring kingdom has their princess and prince come to visit. During the visit the princess, Stella, is kidnapped. It is up to Iulia and Jennica along with the other Chosen to find the kidnapper and bring back Stella before the two lands erupt in a war that would destroy both kingdoms.
