I just found out and had to come over here...So sad, I never even knew she was sick. She will be very sorely missed.

Ducks and Fowls For a second I was all like "It must be a joke..." But then I saw the article and despaired. That's what I thought too. I found out on Facebook, from my aunt and I thought "That's a cruel joke!" so I went to search to see if maybe there was a joke/hoax/misunderstanding...really sad.

I always 1/2 wished she was my neighbor / aunt / mother. I will miss her

I just read about her passing. I had though that my local paper had made a mistake so I came here to see if it was true. Im sad to see that it is. I shall morn her passage.

Such sad news, she will be greatly missed. She was a incredible person.

all i could do at first was be shocked, then really sad. another bright light got extingushed. i also believe lethbridge stewart is with her.

It was so sudden that at first, I just thought it was a really cruel hoax, but now that I know it's true, I want to cry. Sarah Jane was one of my favorite companions, and Elisabeth Sladen herself was an amazing woman. She will be greatly missed.
