hello@guild
we're coming back to life after a loong absence, so what's new with you?
what's happened since we last spoke, lover?

for me, a lot and very little.
for those who don't know me mother died on april 13th last year, then the lease on my flat ran out in july last year and i spent the next 9 months homeless which was a bit s**t.
but now two glorious people have taken me in and i am warm, happy and relatively stress free.
i'm moving back to chester soon, seems like the best option for me at the moment. and i'm only meant to have been here for three weeks and i've outstayed my welcome! sorry karen if you're reading this. razz

The craic is not the same and it's hard to find a good cuppa. Everyone here's a coffee addict lol! What I'd give for a fry up with soda and potato bread, or a sausage roll, or even a pot noodle and a lucozade. Not to mention how badly I miss my family.

Other than that it's all good. Our marriage has been going strong for almost 2 years now and we're really happy. Washington state is surprisingly nice, even if they don't seem to know how to party right.

Sorry to hear about you ending up homeless and losing your mum, it must have been horrible to get hit like that with such massive disasters. I hope you get back on your feet soon!

you may be unable to have a decent fry, but think of all the delicious american foods that are now available to you. like. um... lucky charms?
glad that you're happy though, i'm trying to save up the funds to get myself educated in the us. just for a change of scenery!

i'm a wee trooper so it hasn't been as bad as it sounds, stressful at times but hey! it's character building. smile

Lucky charms are just rice crispies with shitty marshmallowey things lol and I dont like tacos or any of that mexican shite so it rules out a lot of the common stuff here! The shopping malls are fun to wander around though. If you come to the States what do you want to study?

well i've just been accepted onto an open university course in arts & humanities so something along those lines. religion, philosophy, literature. all these things are relevant to my interests.
it's a hard situation though, i don't have gcses so i'm going to have to get them, plus this ou thingy which doesn't have a us equivalent really, it's a cert.he, which is better than us ap classes apparently.
then there's the whole money situation ughh.
