With Kenseth, Biffle, and Ragan locked in with Roush for the time being, Carl Edwards is the only driver at Roush who's contract is up at the end of the 2011 season.
Carl Edwards is currently the Sprint Cup points leader, and basically carrying the Roush Nationwide program on his own. He has apparently visited Joe Gibbs Racing, who would have to expand to a fourth team to accommodate the addition of Carl. Roush would like a contract signed with him no later than mid-summer, Biffle expects Edwards back as a teammate next season, but Carl is in no hurry.
I think Edwards is using his leverage as points leader to get more money in his contract before he re-signs with Roush Fenway Racing. Thoughts?

I think that if either will go, it would more likely to be Aflac. He's done more with them.
