Eyes fluttering open for the second time within the past few hours, the corrupted senshi looked around in a dazed, almost zombie-esk state. She was in.... a room? Yeah... a room somewhere. Right? The walls were... reflecting. Weird. It looked like someone dipped the walls in amethyst paint... only they were actually point gemstones. The room was small... it looked different. She was laying down on what appeared to be a couch, Wait, where was she?
More importantly... grasping her head, she let out a slight whine as she touched the bruise. Wait... bruised? What hit her? Turning to her left, she looked at the wall and let out a squeak, "It looks like a train hit me!" And it did. A whole half of her face was still bruised black and blue.
"It feels like ive been sleeping forever...." She yawned once. The impact of the previous events would not hit her...ever. After all, she cant really remember anything before this point. She knew she was in a room.. she knew what sleeping was... but actual events? Gone. She had not even had a second to think about this.
Who was she?

"Good morning..." He said softly, he'd been watching for some time... the ramifications of his deeds were only starting to sink home.
What had gleamed under the veneer of a perfect plan now showed the start of terrible imperfections... he'd done it for her.
The words rang hollow, he'd done it for himself... selfish...foolish, arrogant.
"How are you feeling?" He asked, and he rolled her old names in his mouth before swallowing them again silently, bitter pills and just the start of a slow poison of doubt. "Do you... remember anything?"
He knew the answer to that question, but somehow he just needed to hear her say it, like perhaps, just perhaps something of Beth remained... like he hadn't killed her as surely as making her heart stop beating.

She had not even noticed his presence behind her, something of a annoying feeling really... plucking at the back of her mind. Somehow almost like she should know he was there, but at the moment... the voice made her jump.
"Ohmygod DONT SCARE ME LIKE THAT!" She senshi nearly jumped a foot high, and wheeled around in a rather... not flattering pose of putting her arms up.
"How can you tell if its morning here.." She asked, looking around the room once more. Nope, no windows. "I feel... like a truck ran over me and pulled me along by the neck..actually." Almost as if asking for it, she reached up and touched her neck
Only to feel the chain. "Oh GOD it really happened didnt it? At least that explains the bruising..." She tugged the chain a little... then emerald eyes turned back at the man. Why was she talking to him so freely? "Wait. Who are you?"

He turned his head away from her suddenly, his gaze torn from her face as she asked him the flurry of questions, the most painful 'who are you.'
"Zinkenite..." He said and then added in more of a flurry "Your Brother." His eyes met hers, full on and serious as though to assure her of the truth of it.
"There was no truck... only a war. We saved you from what you had become..." the words felt like needles in his mouth, too dry and too sharp, his chest ached with uncertainty.
Had he done the right thing... would it...
Would it have been better to kill her.
The thought of it weighed so heavily that he had to steady himself with a wall, dipping his head and closing his eyes till equilibrium at least was restored.
He needed her, she was his...she'd be safe here, he had to believe that.

"...Thats a weird name." Was her first reaction.... name. He had a name. Wait.... instinct was telling her to reply back her own name, but she couldnt think of it... it slipped away through the cracks no matter how fast she chased it.
"Do i have a name?" She asked back, curiously staring at her 'brother'. She had a brother too? How the hell could she....forget all this? Surely she should have remembered having a brother or not! It would have meant she grew up with him.
Why couldnt she remember him? "Why cant i remember you...... or for that matter, me? Who am i?" She blinked severals times, eyebrows drawn together in a pouty face motion. She had a name on her mind... Lyra... was that me? She needed to ehar it! "I dont remember no war! What war? Does it include tanks? I dont remember tanks they would have woken me up when i slept! Or bombs... guns?"

The Dagger twisted in his chest... a sharp twist of his own design. Too easy now to imagine all the cutting comments that too many might give if he admitted any discomfort...any weakness.
Too easy to remember all the little digs already taken because of this... he'd done the right thing though, sometimes doing the right thing hurt... right?
"Your name -was- Sailor Lyra... you were a sailor Senshi... you..." He started and stopped swallowing a hard lump in his throat as the start of very real panic began to bubble inside, that this had NOT been the right choice... but what other had their been.
"You were a Sailor Senshi...we saved you from that. It was the mercy of our General Queen Tanzanite that pulled you from a life of torture, hate...and abuse... for while the Senshi preach of a world of love, they, and the Blood Moon Court to whom you had sworn abducted, tortured and killed several of our own."
The words were stiff and mechanical, he gripped the wall hard reminding himself this must be said. Better him... better him than someone else.
"We allowed you to be saved because you held some regret for your actions"

"Senshi... Sailor Lyra..." The term senshi came from her mouth before he spoke it. "Sailor Lyra senshi of nebulas..... yes, that feels right. Thats my name." It still felt odd rolling off her tongue, something she KNEW was right.
Right?
"Brother.... brother. Should i call you Zinkenite or brother? War? General Queen? Blood Moon court? WHat are all these terms... All i see in my mind are the words Senshi, and Lyra. What is a Tanzanite? The gemstone? I know about the gemstone... Is Zinkenite a gemstone? Ive never heard of it."
Blanking out the female jsut stared at Zink like he spoke something wrong. "Whaaaaaaattttt ide never torture, kill, or abduct someone! Why would i WANT to do that! Your crazy!" Though the back of her mind.. something whispered. Something dark, something she chose to ignore.
Moving around, She sat once more down on the couch, and stared up at her 'brother'. Something told her he spoke truth... why would he lie to her, afterall? "Why cant i remember anything."

"Here... you call me Zinkenite... General Zinkenite." He moved to sit beside her placing his hand over his own as though he could remind her by touch the side of her that was most important, the side that had nothing to do with any of this. The part of her that had been the saint, the angel and the giddy but terrible cook who always wanted him to smile. But... he couldn't even speak that name to her, too much risk, utterly forbidden.
His hands shook and he had to clasp hers hard to try and make them be still. "You may call me Brother though... here, where it's safe...once we leave this place there will be people who hunt you for betraying them. They will want to do to you what you helped them do to us. Terrible things, inhuman things... " He assured her carefully.
"You can not remember because, I believe some senshi magic is at work, some twisted way to save themselves from those who grow wise and leave them, but don't worry... don't worry... you'll build a new life with us, a better life. You don't need to remember the terrible details of what you did, only regret it and help us to defeat them and send them to their own worlds... where they belong."

Emerald eyes, confused eyes, turned and met his own. Like a amnesia patient, she felt like a child... baby steps. She would find her way eventually. "But... i didnt hurt anyone." Lies, you hurt a lot of people. "Not... intentionally.. why would i? Im a part of this war too am i not? Why would i hurt my own brothers side? Shouldnt i have been protecting you in the first place?" A strong feeling, protective. She was protective of him. She would not let anyone hard him.Lyra knew deep down what this man said was true... either that or she chose to believe it.
"I....im sorry. I wish i could remember. Is this normal for someone to lose everything? Did i whap my head super hard or something? Would explain the huge bruise..."
Innocent, always ever innocent. Its how she always was. Childish nature to the core, she loved the little things in life. Though there was one thing she could say about herself... she protected those she loved. At the moment, she only knew Zinkenite. Love was what she felt. "I will.. do what i can?" A short laugh, something he would know as 'hers'. "I feel like a child learning to ride a bicycle... will you help me? I want to help." Instinctivly Lyra gripped the hand once his was shaking. Something she would have done as the 'old' Lyra as well.. she wanted to comfort him. "Whats wrong brother...? Your shaking. Are you cold? Upset?" Lyra loked around next, looking for some sort of blanket. Anything. Nothing was in the small room.

"Nothing's wrong..." He replied, it was a lie but he needed it. "I'm simply upset... that I had to hurt you so much to save you...will you forgive me?" he asked tipping his chin down to watch her with pleading eyes.
But how could it be real forgiveness if she didn't know what she was forgiving him for, if she could never know what he had truly asked for?
"And of course I'll help you... I will show you everything, and everyone... I'll protect you till you can protect yourself. After that..." he paused taking a breath to continue. "We will work together, we will fight the sad little senshi who taught you torture and terror... we'll show her she is everything that she has ever accused us of being before we leave her to our General Queen to deliver the final blow...to give back to her all the pain that she inflicted on ours."
His voice grew hard for a moment, Ares must be dealt with, that was a sure thing and he could hold onto that thought to keep himself from running from the room, away from the bright green eyes that reminded him over and over that he had stripped her to nothing... everything that had mattered was gone...
No...not everything, Beth...she was still Beth at least... in a way. More important she was safe, this was better than clinging to some photograph and the memories of her death.
Wasn't it?

"Did i really do such horrible things?" She scooted a little closer towards him, leaned her shoulder against his. A friendly gesture, both meant to comfort him and.. because she too currently needed comfort to stop herself from all but freaking out.
Tension rising, she flicked a gaze up at his. "Is this sort of like...atonement for what i...did? Or what i apparently did... i really dont know, Zinkenite." She still was not using his abbreviated name, trying to be polite... she really had no clue about this man. Or why she trusted him so much.
"But im not hurting... minus from what it feels like something punched the hell out of my rib cage and face... im not hurting? Its...quiet inside my head. Really eerily quiet... but im only really currently thinking about what you have told me here. It worries me a little, but im not in any pain. So...you did not hurt me?" It was not a 'yes i forgive you', but it was the best she could muster at the time. She Squeezed his hand once more. "Did this injuries come from.. the war?"
Deep down, below it all, She was still beth.. still the same sister he loved. She was confused now, but she would learn... she would become something similar to the one he used to know.
She just lost all memories of those she once knew...
"...How did we get here...anyways. What... IS this place." She had no idea what the 'negaverse' was either, or the subspace.

"The Dark Kingdom... Where we serve the powers of the 'Negaverse' Her magesty Queen Beryl...and... the powers that...reside here."
He said the latter carefully because he was still unsure. Tanzanite seemed to know something, she had dropped the respectful title of Queen but he couldn't say why... Hadn't Beryl restored her...again?
Not something that he could bring to question before the wide eyes before him, so innocent, so delicate like a flower under snow... she was so careful even now, she leaned into him more familiar, one of the few who could get away with that with minimal shuffling or complaint even now.
"Yes...they are results of the war, in her anger...General Queen Tanzinite struck you.. before we took you to the Dark Kingdom to speak, to learn if you truly regretted... in the end, this..."
He paused before continuing. "You will need a new name..." He said carefully... "Perhaps two..."

"I thought my name was Lyra." She drew her brows together, she knew this was her true name. It was the only name that came to mind, so it was her only name right? "Like your name is Zinkenite!"
"Queen Beryl... I will listen to this queen beryl then, and these powers. I must be here for that reason yes?" At this point the senshi was looking for anything....any reason for existing. If what zink said was true, she will not forget. She will remember... Dark kingdom was good... fighting a war...
Reaching up she touched her face again, eyes wide. "Im guessing getting hit by general queen Tanzanite is a...bad thing? Well.. If she was mad at me of course its a bad thing... Tanzanite is a she right? Im guessing because 'General Queen'. What are those anyways? Like...Status symbols? you called yourself General... is General plus queen a stage up?"
Innocent... all memories gone, even what the ranks were in the negaverse.

He worried at his lip. "You will need a ...civilian name." he explained after a moment... a safe name to let you do important things like...go to school. Rest... when you are more settled I'll be trying to find you a safe place to stay when you are not here since you can't stay with me in the outside world. Where I stay only young men are allowed, and you won't pass."
He paused again and took a few breaths to calm himself. "They are Ranks...Lieutenant, Captain, General... and for a fare few General King or General Queen." HE nodded carefully. "You are still a senshi, you lack these ranks so you..owe them each respect, but you are an Eternal Senshi, which makes you more powerful than some. You are now the same 'rank' as Ares, but you are on our side."
"When you are not using your attacks, I thought you might want to use a mineral name as we do...but the best I found is actually a shell, I thought it was fitting." He paused with a slight nod before continuing "You will still cast magic as Lyra, but you may otherwise call yourself...Ammolite... when you walk the outside world, you will call yourself Sabine Alexandria Moss. When we are beyond these walls you can not say we are related, it's safer that way...at least when you are hidden as a civilian...alright?"

That name... "So i should try and avoid this Ares? Who is this Ares person? Im guessing she is senshi if she is the same rank... should she be someone i watch out for? "
She wanted to hug the man...but she refrained. He was shaking still... acting like he was about to burst into tears.
"You... your breathing hard and shaking." She looked at him more, a stare of total worry. "You seem upset even though you said you were not... im confused. Are you sure your ok, Zinkenite?"
