Luna was generally one of those people who got lost, no matter where they were going. She could have gotten lost in the woods surrounding her home, despite having lived there for over ten years. So when she recieved a letter inviting her to some sort of lab, she figured she'd be so lost by the end of the route, that even if she did manage to get there, she never would be able to find it again.
So the thirty odd something woman marveled when she was able to find the labs with ease. This had certainly never happened before. She walked in, smiling. A nice place, she thought. Much nicer than she had expected. A lab, she had figured, was a place full of test tubes and ungodly things.

The lab, or at least the entrance area of it, was thankfully not filled with test tubes or anything of the like. There was a desk, and a little beaker of water on it with a bird toy leaning in and out of that now and then, but otherwise it just looked like the reception area to any business.
Behind the desk, at a computer, a young woman was cheerily typing things in on a computer, but she looked up when Luna entered. "Hey there, found the place okay?" she asked. Kayen had put special magic on that letter, she said, to make the place extra easy to find.

"Oh yes, thank you," Luna said with a smile, yet again struck with how easily she'd found the place. "I'm supposed to meet someone..." she paused as she dug into her purse, pulling out a letter. "Here it is! It says to come here, and the directions... Says to meet someone." The blonde looked back up at the woman, blinking. "But who am I supposed to meet?" she asked. "And why'd they call me?"
This was definitely the strangest lab Luna'd ever been in. (She'd never been in one; but then, it was the strangest lab she'd eevr heard about, too). "Oh! I'm Luna. Nice to meet you!"

"Oh, that'd probably be me." the little woman said with a grin, standing up and shaking Luna's hand. "I'm Apoxi - I'm the main doctor here." her hair was a thick and bushy sort, but held back in a thick french braid, and she wore round glasses on her little upturned and freckled nose. For all intents and purposes, this Doctor, was a little girl in a labcoat.
"I believe you were picked out to be guardian to one of the children we have here."
