K enpachi Lykos

Lykos stood over Karasu as he impaled his zanpakuto into Karasu. Karasu coughed up blood but he didn't cry out in pain or anything of the sort. He was smiling as he panted and was coughing up blood. He had earned the respect of Lykos over a dozen times in this fight. Lykos looked into Karasu's eyes as Karasu motioned Lykos to come closer. Lykos did just that kneeling down beside him. "You have indeed. Earned the title... Kenpachi." Karasu said as he coughed up more blood. "Promise me something?" Karasu asked Lykos and Lykos smiled softly. "Anything." He answered the old Kenpachi. "Protect the soul society at all costs. Rebuild squad eleven to it's former glory. Above all... take care of my children..." Karasu said weakly. Lykos nodded. "It will be done." He said to Karasu and Karasu laughed. "I always thought it would be Kumori that killed me." He said as his eyes stayed open but the glint of life... left. Lykos closed his eye lids and stood up retrieving his zanpakuto from Karasu's body. He sheathed his zanpakuto and many shinigami stood there in awe as Lykos was now the new captain of squad eleven as well as the new Kenpachi of the soul society. Soul reapers came over to Karasu's corpse and lifted him up. They carried him away to give him a proper burial. Even though Lykos had killed him he wasn't happy about it. Karasu didn't even know his zanpakutos name. Such a shame. He thought as he looked up into the sky and closed his eyes as a gust of wind blew by him. He smiled as the breeze cooled him.
