Basic Techniques
These techniques are the technique which every Runner will learn. They are the techniques required for them to learn in order for them to reach C-Rank. These techniques themselves are D-Rank techniques but will only cost FIVE energy points.
The Techniques:
Name: The Roll
Description: This is a technique which is mandatory if a Runner wishes to survive drops from height of ten feet and higher without any sorts of injury. As the Runner lands he simply leans forward and into a roll. This absorbs the impact/shockwave from the energy created when reaching the ground.
Name: The Lazy Vault
Description: This is a highly simple in which the Runner places his hand upon the obstacle and thrust himself up and over it. This is mostly used when trying to swiftly clear obstacles such as railings but is not limited to such things.
Name: The Under Bar
Description: This technique is used to slip beneath/in between obstacles, mainly railings, by grabbing onto it and sliding beneath it. Nothing too difficult.
Name: Muscle Up
Description: This technique is just as useful as it is simple. The Runner will walk up to an obstacle, such as a wall, reach up, and grab it. Then using their strength they will merely lift themselves up and onto that obstacle.
