Okay, so I know at least a few people here are into manga. Now, I posted this in AMC a while back, and some mod moved it, but here's a question: I wanna read a long(ish) series. Specifically, I'm looking for Shoujo-ai or Shonen-ai. I don't want any gratuitous scenes, as I'm more interested in the love aspect of it. I posted this in the main forum just in case any other members would want to see same sex relationships in manga. so they didn't have to ask or look elsewhere.

I've been reading Loveless for the last month. It's a yaoi. A friend of a 12 year olds' deceased brother shows up - I'll fight for you, blah blah blah, I love you, blah, stop saying that, blah blah. Did I mention the people in that universe have ears and tails until they lose their virginity?
And there's Futaba-Kun, Change. The main character changes sex whenever he's stressed or aroused, and has to hide all this from the girl he's crushing on...except he ends up befriending her as his female form. Then it gets messy when his crush falls for both of his forms, and blah.

Can I take a guess and say you've read Gravitation? Sadly this is the only longish one I've ever read. I have a couple stand alones but any others I've looked at that had some length I never had the guts to buy (for reasons I think you can deduce)

Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl is a cute shoujo ai. A guy named Hazumu climbs a mountain and gets run over by an alien spacecraft. They rebuild his body... As a girl! Two girls end up fighting for him in his girl form. His best friend Tomari, who's loved him ever since they were little and Yasuna, who turned him down as a guy. It's an interesting take on the love triangle formula.
As for shonen ai, I don't know of any that haven't been said already, but I'm sure there's plenty out there.

The only shonen-ai I've read is Eerie Queerie, which is only four books long. It is really cute though!

ive been reading jack frost. i used to really love rebirth but i think they gave up on the series because all the stores by me stopped selling it, and it was right at the climax of the plot gonk
cant stand anything by clamp though. i hate their bad art and the stories are way too touchy feely for me.
i used to read ALOT of manga when i was in school, but now there arent too many series that interest me
