Get a Secret Egg in Black and White!

Beginning April 27 through May 31, you can get a Secret Egg at participating Toys 'R Us stores! This event is scheduled to coincide with the U.S. airing of the Black and White anime, in which Ash will also receive a mysterious egg!

What Pokemon will hatch from the egg? Apparently, you'll get one of three special Pokemon (the graphics on the official Black and White page suggest a Pidove, an Axew, or a Pansage). No other details or hints were given as to what their stats or nature might be.

Apparently the the trading card game booster packs will also feature special inserts that include secret promo cards for one of the three special egg Pokemon.

Don't forget to mark your calendars and swing by to pick one up!

So I got my Secret Eggs yesterday, and rushed to hatch the one in Pokemon Black. Turns out it was a Pidove, but didn't seem to be anything special, although it does know Air Cutter to start. I haven't hatched the one in White yet, but I'll let you guys know what it turns out to be.

I'm guessing in the anime, it's going to be Pansear, just because it appears in the opening credits. *LOL*

So the one in White turned out to be Pidove, too. :/ Ah well, such is life.

Also, according to my satellite's guide, today's episode is called "Scraggy: Hatched to be Wild," suggesting that Ash's egg hatches into a Scraggy. I'm jealous!! *LOL* I haven't gotten far enough in either game to catch one of those yet, but I hear they're good against the Elite Four!

Scraggy/Scrafty - Dark Fighting
E4 Contains four diff trainers each specializing in one the following: Psychic, Ghost, Dark, Fighting
Scraggy/Scrafty is good against all but the Fighting E4

That's what I'd heard! 3nodding Scraggy/Scrafty and Woobat/Swoobat are both supposed to be good choices, so I grabbed a Woobat early and evolved it as quickly as possible!

I honestly haven't been playing too much lately, though. I did spend a little more time and effort in LeafGreen the other day when I took my mom to the doctor, and I did finally beat the Elite Four with a fairly low level team - four of them were around level 47-48, Gyarados was level 51, and Venusaur was level 55. It took some doing (and a lot of revives and full restores) but I pulled it off!

leaf green? was one of them Starmie?

In Kanto the E4 is as follows:
Ice, Fighting, Ghost, Dragon - in that order first to last

Starmie with Surf, Psychic, Thunderbolt, & Ice beam at say level 50 will PLOW through them BEFORE NATIONAL DEX
TB Loreleli,
Psychic and surf Bruno conserving as much psychic as possible,
use remaining psychic on Agitha
And needless to say Icebeam/Surf Lance to death,
then use your big guns for Gary
-------works (for me) every time

--------------------(of course, it's worth mentioning that once i begin my LG games i discard any other pokemon once i get a Staryu and W-stone it, i use Diglette's tunnel as quick EXP to catch it up and surpass my starters, usually by the E4 it's level 65. also with Ice beam and T-bolt, Starmie has good type coverage, including grass (erika's badge is next in line every time) and water{water is why loreleli is so easy with t-bolt} and if you started with Bulba/Ivy/Venasuar, Gary's Charizard will perish!)

Actually it was not Starmie, although that would've been a good choice!

I don't have it with me, but my team included Slowbro, Gyrados, Venusaur, Rhydon, Haunter, and Snorlax. I had to teach them a few TMs to make it through, but eventually we pulled it off. Rhydon got Earthquake, Snorlax got Fire Blast, and I gave Thunder to...somebody. *LOL* I think it was either Slowbro or Gyrados?
