Damn, I'm not fully recovered from my surgery. I'm still in bed, missing out school, and such. I can hardly come online, and they already want P.T?! [Physical Therapy] I can barley move around with crutches! It's only been around two weeks! Should I be ready to go to P.T? Or is this normal? I've never had surgery before.. if it's not obvious.. xD

I suppose it depends on the surgery. However, they may be concerned that whatever you had surgery on will become too stiff or cause problems otherwise. I would assume that your doctors know what they are talking though. wink lol

I agree with her, it depends on what kind of surgery you had. I too had surgery on my appendix i had appenicides, which made my Appendix inflamed, and was ready to burst in me. If my mom didn't take me to the doctor, i wouldn't be here right now.

Scope Gambler I agree with her, it depends on what kind of surgery you had. I too had surgery on my appendix i had appenicides, which made my Appendix inflamed, and was ready to burst in me. If my mom didn't take me to the doctor, i wouldn't be here right now. Same, except my appendix had ruptured. lol. It was all kinds of crazy. Two weeks in the hospital, tubes down my throat, the whole nine yards. O.o I didn't have to do anything with physical therapy though. lol. Then again, I wasn't really allowed to do anything. XD

Kind of glad there aren't very many other body organs that will explode on me. XD Now I have a lovely large scar along my abdomen. Did your surgery just leave the tiny scar that they usually do? I'm curious because they tried to do the normal surgery, but since mine was ruptured and leaking the infection, they had to take a little vacuum thing to suck out the infection. So now I have 4 scars. 3 small and the large one. XD

I was 15 when it happened and now I'm 22, but the scar is still very visible since its huge. sad

I hope your recovery goes smooth, with the P.T. When my dad ruptured (I think that's it) his tendon in his ankle he had to have P.T. and it helped a lot. :3

Luckily, I only get braces or casts, no tubes or surgeries. Knock on wood. Must be one of the lucky few huh? Lucky? I guess so, but I seem to be in one every year xP Bunny: P.T does work, I've had it for my knee.
