 Night time. A time when everyone would be a sleep or with someone close to them. That was something completely different for this female fox. Her name was Lurante, daughter of Angelique and Kimun. She had a brother and sister with more father like features than herself. Giving off a light purr as she followed after a lone firefly. Watching it float higher and higher into the sky. Her golden eyes sparkled in the moonlight. "Wonder if there's someone out there looking up at the stars too? Maybe I'll meet them one day." Speaking to herself before moving along towards the near by pond.

With a slight breeze dancing through his short fur Torin gave a soft groan of pleasure and content. The night air was cool and clean. All around the crickets and frogs sang the nightly songs. All seemed well until the rustle of leaves came to his ears. Quickly turning to face what ever it was that may or may not be a threat, the black male would be ready. After a tense moment his apprehension was broke by the sight of a brown rabbit scurrying from the brush. Exhaling a sigh of relief he then looked to the sky, "I should have known better than to think there was danger here. Not on a night like tonight."

Hearing the rustle of leaves close by, Lura trotted off into the direction only to see a rabbit hop by. Her ears moved around to pick up any faint sounds, but was thrown off by a voice instead. Her eyes darted towards the sound, catching a glimpse of the black and yellow fox. Her tail swished back and forth as her curiosity got the best of her. She moved towards him with a faint smile across her face. "Bonjour. Didn't expect there to be anyone out this late of the night." Speaking loud enough for the other fox to be able to hear her.

Ears standing tall his head jerked to face her. Red eyes studied her, "It is true that not many lurk these woods after the sun sets. But I prefer the night over the day time.

"I prefer the night as well. I usually am found asleep during the day or just being lazy." Smiling to the male as her long tail flicked back and forth. Her golden eyes traced over his yellow marking, giving off a slight purr. " What might you name be?"

Holding his head high the male spoke, "My name is Torin. The Wayfinder." Tilting his head slightly, "And who might you be?"

"I am Lurante, daughter of Kimun and Angelique." Lura spoke softly as she took in his name. It was nothing like she had heard before by she didn't mind unusual names since her's was one of them.

"Merci. Father Kimun is proud, but Mama Angelique does miss my company at home." Lurante spoke as her ears drooped lightly.

Torin tilted his head and blinked at her, "Do you not go and visit them?"

"I do visit, but it's quite a ways from where I travel. I hope to find a home close by to be able to visit mama Angelique." Lurante spoke quietly as her tail drooped. She missed her mother dearly. "do you have family Torin?"

Heaving a deep sigh the black male spoke, "It has been a long time since last I saw them. My travels have taken me far beyond the lands of my birth." Looking to the sky he slightly smiled, "But I know that they are alive and well. Under this same starry night sky." Nodding only to himself, "It is things like that which keeps me going and fills me with comfort."

"Tis good to know that they are still alive." Lurante spoke as she looked up at the sky with a light smile. She could feel some comfort from those words he spoke. "Comfort is good for those who have heartache, oui?"
