Well, what do you think of our beloved redXIII? confused I have asked the members of this guild befor and without a supported answer I ask again.

I think he's like, a cross between a dog a tiger...
because he has the full moon thing... *brain dead...* and he's orange like a tiger...

he looks like a tiger/wolf. like those cat thingies in the second lord of the rings movie, that the orcs rode.

spoilor ahead so if anyone hasn't played the game please don't read this
I believe him to be of more of a dog/wolf because of the following scenerio in the game, remember when you went through that haunted cave and then red found out about his fathers true past.
at the end of that scenerio he howled at the moon, that is a dog/wolf trait.

Alert: Kind of a spoiler?
I was sad to find out that the game does not really mention what race Nanaki is. I would say he is canine just by how he looks. Kind of like a hellhound.

yeah, he's definatly a wolf kind of thing. i mean really, he howls at the full moon.

Well, aside from the full moon fact, he is a wolf, or dog if you prefer. Though, he doesn't show many activities that portray a wolf. But he has a canine structure. A canine has a narrow face structure, where as a feline has thick shield like skull. Compare these pics.   Although, he could be made to look like both, because of the thick tiger-like snout. We may naver know what he is.
