Pride life had been relatively quiet for Sokanon as of late and he had spent a lot of time with his family. It was nice to finally escape the family for a few hours and have some time to himself. He also felt a little responsible for taking care of his siblings and was rather protective of them though what brother wouldn't be. He cared about them more than the world but Sokanon was the strong silent type and he needed to sort out all of the thoughts running through his head.
The lion sat on his haunches underneath a large tree. Sokanon's tail flicked back and forth as his thoughts wandered. His attention was diverted as he heard a cheerful song emitting from the tree above him. True to the pride, Sokanon was very in tune with nature so he enjoyed listening to the birds sing. So far, today was turning out to be a good day.

Chetanluta was running like crazy from his bird companion Uzulu. to someone observing it would be quite odd to see a lion running from a bird dive bombing them but laughing like crazy while running away. " YOU CANT GET ME UZULU!" still laughing, it wouldn't take long to figure out it was a game they played often. sadly any peace and quiet that Sokanon was enjoying would be interrupted by the energetic Chetanluta.

Hearing sharp, loud voices in the distance, Sokanon tried to zone out the sound but was unable to. His eyes drifted across the landscape until he saw the fellow Ela lion and his bird running around. That was strange indeed... Though it took a lot to get Sokanon irritated so he was just content sitting there observing the two. Who was he to say that they weren't allowed to have fun?
As Sokanon continued to watch the pair, he couldn't help but grin widely. The two were rather amusing and even though he didn't recognize the lion, he had the same distinct stylistic tattoos that everybody in the pride had. He had to admit that the sounds of laughter and merriment brought up his mood significantly.

Chetan was way to into his game with uzulu to notice he was being watched. when uzulu dived at him, he tried to dodge him but in the end tripped over himself. now flat on the ground, he gave out a groan before shaking his head a bit. " uzulu your way to good at this. " laughing, he then stuck his tongue out at uzulu who now was perched on his paw. tail flicking this way and that, it was clear he was happy even though he had tripped up.

Sokanon watched them carefully wondering what it would be like to have a companion like the avian. They seemed like they were having a lot of fun and for some reason, he really didn't mind all of the noise that they were making. It was pretty relaxing for him. The lion continued to watch them carefully as they continued their playful banter. Sokanon closed his eyes once more as he listened to the trees and animals around him.
Though his eyes snapped open as he heard Chetan fall over himself as the avian was chasing him. "Are you alright over there?" Calling out to the other Ela lion, Sokanon doubted that he was hurt but it was just an excuse to talk to the other lion.

Chetan was quick to get up and shake himself off when he heard the voice calling out to him. he didn't like looking like a fool to someone new, but well that was out the window. a aqward grin was on his face, as he decided to go over to Sokanon so they wouldn't have to call out to one another. " Yes i'am alright. not the first time when messing around with my companion that i have ended up tripping over myself." chuckling, he then playfully snapped at uzulu who bit down on his ear to remind him of his manners before settling in Chetan's mane. " this is Uzulu and i am Chetanluta Kidudushi. it is a pleasure to meet you."

Sokanon grinned happily as the two approached him and he was rather enthusiastic to interact with more youths from the pride. "Haha. Your avian seems rather enthusiastic. I wish I had a companion like that but I guess I have enough siblings to keep me occupied." There were times that he wished that he could be alone but having someone by your side to keep you company was always nice... He was a solitary creature by nature but he wasn't one to turn down a nice romp to work off excess energy.

"yeah Uzulu can be at times but he is very friendly and is a great companion when i want to explore with out my family." Chetan loved his avian friend and it was more than obvious that he and Uzulu had a great friendship. "well i hope i didn't ruin your meditation. it would make me feel bad if i ended up ruining it for you." he was always high energy and never was one to not be social unless he thought he was intruding on someone. suddenly he started to get into a laughing fit when Uzulu started nibbling at his ear at random.
